Lol 6 is the perfect time to use them but try not to drink too much or go to the toilet for a few hours before, opk detects surge so your most fertile time is surposed to be that day and for the next 48 hrs although basically all the time around then and the few days before is fertile, if you want to do it on the bathroom floor go ahead......

Like I said before dh's words were "not prepared to have timetable sex" so I have to find a way to do it without being too obvious. That means we might only do it twice or 3 times on fettle period but when I got pg we only did once! So will not despair. At least I get a fuller load

sorry when didn't mean to dramatise things! To cut a very long story very short, I cheated. It's more complicated than that (as they all say) but that's what it boils down to in the end. No fault on his part.

Incidentally, the "other man" is now my lovely DH and is the love of my life . But it's not something I'm proud of and I hold a lot of guilt over it still, hence the karma reference.

kitten sorry for being so nosey. I think you know it's really not all that unusual to cheat (I've not done it to dh but I have to ex boyfriends). Sometimes it's necessary, friend of mine was in a very long term relationship with a bloke who was completely wrong for her and they were both miserable.
It was her cheating that ended it, it was painful at the time but they are both much happier now and have different partners. They are even still friends. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Two trains of thought making my head swim (geddit?)

One is that I think the idea of karma binds people to past pain. I believe that God offers to step in and wipe the slate clean, especially when we regret something. I don't think that's guilt we need to carry and he would like us to let him set us free. I am going to pray for release from the guilt on here.

So my early AF was just 3 days of heavy spotting followed by 3 days of no bleeding followed by (today) painful AF. its not fair!! Not only will I now have AF for my whole holiday but will also not now be due to test on 15th sept -will be 21st instead, but have absolutely lost any hope for a BFP while my cycles are up shit creek!!
(sigh) I have no idea what my body is doing!!

Anyway, enough depressage!! Happy thoughts for the day - hols start tomorrow and I can't wait!!

Kitten, everything happened for a reason, your dh was put in your path to find the love of your life, I think you've carried the guilt long enough, you won't be the first or last and I'm sure most have gone on to have beautiful healthy children

I am going out of my mind - I woke up at 4am with severe boob ache. I cannot sleep on my front or side. Sharp stabbing pains all morning. And now they are so sensitive against my bra. I have to hold them while i go up and down the stairs. Has anyone ever felt this kind of boob ache?

Trying to think of an exciting poas moment for the film version of me. The way I had to test in France was a bit of a pain. Dh stupidly unpacked the hpts so I had none on hols. We were out there with his mum and dad and I didn't want them to know I was testing.

I had to sneak off on a trip to the local town and find a chemist (stupid supermarkets don't do preg tests). The shop assistant didn't speak any English and I didn't know the French for pregnancy test test de grossesse.

Had to hide the test up my jumper until we got back to the house we were staying in. It sucked cause I only had one test, it was positive. Then when I got back to uk I did another one to double check everything was ok and got three BFNs in a row .

not sure that i really believe the karma thing. this year has been so totally sucky for my family, especially my brother and his family, who i consider to be the loveliest people you could hope to meet. they absolutely dont deserve what happened to them. and while i am most definitely not perfect (not even practically perfect a la mary poppins), i dont think i have done anything to deserve losing a baby.

i am now off shopping without small child (she's in nursery - not just leaving her at home!)- hurrah! going to buy skinny jeans in ridiculous colours, because I'm not pregnant and can still fit into size 12s. hurrah!

at skinny jeans - I have pink and bright blue - friends say it's a mid-life crisis - I say I'm just too on trend for them!

Resipia, if dh wants the disabled toilets why not, you know that would be the shag to conceive, it fits in with the film where you sneak in and dtd thensomeone try's the door and your both trying not to laugh slip and dh ends up with a foot in the toilet!

Ha when I did a test in France with DD cuase DH didn't believe the first one. It was a CB digital and said "enceinte" - so much nicer than pregnant, I thought!
