Winkle :( it does suck and its so unpredictable and frustrating. Especially when there's nothing wrong biologically, but the sperm and egg just need to meet and settle in. I think you've mad the right decision to take some time off it. Its so physically emotionally and mentally draining.

Hi resipsa Hope things are good with you. He is doing ok thanks, think he is off to France in a couple of weeks with work canoeing and whitewater rafting with the boys. Not sure if to go away for a few days myself but no one really available, could go with my mum I guess!

Appointment at hospital fairly uneventful today, got a scan on Tuesday and if the cysts have not gone then I have to have some tablets to disperse them. If they have gone then I have a choice of another 3 months on clomid or similar drug or go straight onto IVF.

Mersea sounds a bit stressful. Hope the easiest option is available. Never, ever thought I'd consider IVF but if no luck for us bu the end of the year, I think I might try to persuade DH to give it 1 go in the hope that if no luck, I could say to myself "I'm done" knowing I'd tried. So much easier to type than do, I suspect.

Got a work do tonight but won't be drinking.

Did I tell you that hubby and I have gone organic in order to get healthy and get pregnant? I've changed my diet too and only eating fresh, unprocessed food. I had got i the habit of grabbing a cereal bar and running out of the front door. Now I'm taking time to eat a proper brekkie (cereal for the folic acid! and skimmed milk), I've swapped white carbs to wholemeal (so wholemeal bread, pasta, noodles and brown rice) and I'm only snacking on organic fruit or organic nuts (no crisps ).

Since getting the low blood count result, I've brought green veg which I don't really like! I added spinach and brocolli to my stir fry last night!

Well done on the organic diet plan winkle I love fresh fruit and veg and eat all my veggies like a good girl (exceptions to that are: sprouts and courgettes) However I never seem to find the time to cook a decent meal or eat decent brekkie these days. Work long, commute long and always rushing to leave the house. At least you managed a cereal bar :)

Like dexi I'm also a believer in karma...unfortunately I think that's one of the reasons I'm feeling quite negative about ttc - have good reason to believe karma will not be working in my favour :( (don't worry I'm not an axe murderer or anything, just a horrible thing I did to someone else that haunts me)

winkle good effort on the veg additions - spinach and broccoli are my faves!

Just been told the place we're going to for work drinks has a minimum spend on the bar which they are worried they won't meet so they need people to drink, drink, drink argh!
