Time to move over ladies. Would love to start this thread by announcing my BFP but unfortunately I can't because we all talk too much to get to test date!

All going for gold medals in baby-making and bound to get there soon, aren't we???

It's weird...normally my first two weeks fly past and I'm in the 2WW before I know it. Not sure if it is because I'm POAS every day, but by god time is going slowly this month.

Had my bonus bonk today. Not sure H2B, umm, finished though. Thank god it wasn't vital!

In seriousness, it's usually the build up to EWCM, I think. Shows you're on the way to most fertile period. If you're on the right side of ovulation, that is. Xx

Dampness sounds good! Sperm can live in it, if not as much as in EWCM.

It can happen up to 3 days before lol. I think it signals ov is coming.

Thanks dulcet. Do u get ewcm even if you don't ovulate or is that always a sign that you will def ov?
I'm not sure I can tell the difference between cm and ewcm Blush

Well the consistency is quite different between the two. EWCM is much stringier than normal cm and in my case EWCM wouldn't mark knickers if you are on knicker watch, it just sits there. Haha.

Not sure if it can be happen without ov, would check book but I'm laying legs in air at the moment so don't want to move!

If that smiley Friday was right then I get AF in 14 days as is average then this is a 22 day cycle. That's just not right, is it? Too short!

Yeah, that was assuming a 14 day phase but that would make cycle 22 days which is really short. Phase could be longer I guess but just questioning the Friday smiley. Cd9, just too early!!

Yes, you can get EWCM and not ovulate. It's a sign that your body's trying to ovulate but that doesn't prove it's succeeded.

Generally your most fertile day is the day when you have the most of it, the day before it stops (and if you're taking your temps, the day before your temps go up). General advice is to have sex every day you have EWCM unless the man has a low sperm count in which case you try and work out when your most fertile day of it is. Yay, EWCM strings! They are like Sperm Elevators to your cervix - they travel up them and can live in them.

Not sure Dulcet. Does the smiley mean high levels of LH (I don't know much about any methods even ovulation tests cos I've only ever done it my way).

Hey Dulcet I think you're OK :) Read this - "Most women ovulate between 12 and 14 days before their period. This is an average, so it could be a few days sooner or later than this. If you have a 28-day cycle, you will probably ovulate in the middle of your cycle. If you have a 22-day cycle, you could ovulate just a few days after your period".

I've wondered off for a few days but still not come back to any BFP's? Do we have any due before Sept? - I'm not due mine till mid/late sept so need to experience someone else's to keep me positive!

OK so I'm now thinking of a name change too. Newbie is just too depressing for words. Shall I go for something that will easy for you to type? or something meaningful that relates to fertility. So here are some suggestions. Feel free to comment...

I'm not too sure what the sticks loom for actually Talyra, I just do what CB tell me too!

Thanks for the research newbie, I will just see what happens. Going to carry on with the ov sticks cos I think it could have been a dodgy one still. You are in need of a name change for sure but it should be based around you, not what is easy for us!

Dulcet all the names I can think of come across bitter and twisted :) I think maybe ASD would be best, you don't have to look for keys when typing that!
