Hello everyone

Keep sorry to hear about stupid AF, welcome to day 1 of your pregnancy. Have a lovely anniversary.

Geek hope you have gone home early.

Boo I have also read all 3 of the 50 shades of grey books. I downloaded them ages ago when a friend of mine recommended them. I can honestly say I was a bit surprised by the BDSM content! I did persist in reading them (I hate not finishing ANY book). TBH I quite liked them Blush I normally read crime/thrillers so it was nice to have an easy lighthearted read for a change.

We are off to Wales a week on Friday. We have got a holiday cottage. I'm so excited as it's got a hot tub & we can take the dog. Everyone get brooking for a mini heat wave next week please Smile

I'm making sausage & mash for tea, anyone having anything exciting?

Geeklette · 05/07/2012 17:24

cups I am now having visions of the dog in a hot tub in Wales...

Supernoodles for tea tonight, a real treat for me because I love them but MrGeek can't stand them ('not real cooking') Grin

No 'going away' holiday for us this year. We have a week off at the end of October but due to potential ICSI timing may need to rearrange. I think our next ten years' worth of holidays have already been spent in buying this house last year :)

ScarlettInSpace · 05/07/2012 17:37

boo dtd in a tent is way good fun, it makes you feel like a teenager again lol, remember: if the tents a-rockin, don?t come a-knockin Grin

I met a girl once years ago and she was a bit thick that was 6 months preggers before she knew and she had the baby a few weeks later Shock

to everyone else ? I have been a good little brooker and been to gym today & yesterday Halo and I just spent ten minutes chasing the puppy round the garden to get my sock back Hmm

I'm off on hols in 3 weeks I CAN'T WAIT Grin

Oh and I'm having stuffed chicken & sweet potato wedges & salad for tea [anotherhalocosthelastoneseemstohavefallendownroundmyankles]

Loopyhasanotherbean · 05/07/2012 19:31

maybe chipping campden is lovely, i grew up a few miles from there, wish i still lived up there, and want to again if my house ever sells!!! have you been to the pudding club?? surely that is the perfect place to do for anyone wanting to smack a rat :)

and re pregnancy thread, i haven't read it, but i know someone who was just over 2 months gone before she realised, and by 6 months she'd had her baby...so she claims to have the shortest pregnancy ever of 4 months!

GreenOlives · 05/07/2012 20:20

Fish, chips and mushy peas for me tonight - yummy! From the chippy - even yummier! Still eating like a horse because its the only thing that stops me feeling sick!
On the holiday front we are off to Hayling Island on Monday for 4 nights in a caravan. DS is very excited as we are planning a day at Peppa Pig World and another day catching the hovercraft to the Isle of Wight - please be kind weather gods!
The 50 shades hype is getting soooo boring, Im not reading it on principle now!
Cant remember what else I was going to say so TTFN lovely ladies! Xx

Princesslovelyboo · 05/07/2012 21:20

Cups I was a bit surprised by the BDSM bit too, the red room made me Blush Go on Olives give it a go, it is a good way to waste a week or so!

I like the idea of rocking the tent Grin

We had burgers for tea tonight DS 1s favourite, then dropped him at school so he could go to paris for a few days on a trip Envy

Princesslovelyboo · 05/07/2012 22:28

Blush just realised that reads like there os only one bit of kinky fuckery, it is full of it, you just get used to it!

Night all

ScarlettInSpace · 05/07/2012 22:45

My sister is reading it now, she just text me to say she's 'getting sick of her having an earth shattering orgasm every time he bloody looks at her' Grin

Geeklette · 06/07/2012 06:58

Good morning all!

Friday is finally here, I thought it would never come! The rain has arrived in style here this morning though, and I've a feeling this will be in for the whole weekend now.

I've no real comments to make on the 50 Shades thing, other than to ask has it hit the mainstream mostly because of its Twilight connection? There is an abundance of kinky erotica out there (some of it almost readable!) but you would never catch a woman reading it in public!

I had a really rotten night's sleep, woke up at 4.30 and simply couldn't go back, I was so hot. Soaring temperature this morning, but I feel like I'm going in for a cold (headache, achy, dry mouth/sore throat) so it's probably just that causing it.

Think I might try and slope off early again today. This weather makes me want to hibernate!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 07:50

Oh Geek you poor thing. It's chucking itmdown here too. Really don't want to walk to the station. I came home sick yesterday, and am feeling just as rotten today. I think I shall be doing my experiments and then sloping off too. I prescribe you tea and a nice slice of my citrus polenta cake.

Scarlett having an orgasm because someone looks at you Grin chinny reckon Wink

Boo rock the tent. We managed SWI in a split screen camper. Lets just say It had very little suspension....

Loopy I would love to try the pudding club. Where we stayed before was just over the road from it. I wouldn't be able to move afterwards though! Let alone bake a sprog.

Olives What an amazing dinner. I hope a lots of salt and vinegar was involved.

Am brooking for a heat wave for you too Cups. I love a hot tub dunk.

SecretSparkle · 06/07/2012 08:33

Yikes best get bonking!! Just got my peak GrinGrinGrin

Geeklette · 06/07/2012 09:21

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 09:41

SecretSparkle · 06/07/2012 09:42

No need to call a sickie, I have the day off anyway GrinGrin

Geeklette · 06/07/2012 09:50

Now that's what I call a perfectly timed peak sparks!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 09:54

Oh hello perfect timing. You do realise this is going to lead to a BFP?

keepitgoing · 06/07/2012 10:50

we told you not to give up sparks - have a good day ;)

how's everyone else. Crappy weather here, and AF is being slow in making her presence properly known. Really pees me off and I'm sure i never used to have this spotting prior to periods. Had a lovely anniverary evening last night and didn't talk about ttc. Am super nervous about appt next week though. Have to go to MIL's for lunch on Sunday, and she's invited my parents along too. MIL doesn't know about our issues, so hope she doesn't talk about grandchildren, but expect it's likely - argh! My mum is v tactful though, so sure she'll steer the conversation for me.

doesn't olives have a scan today? Brooking for you, lovely.

maybe - citrus polenta cake?! yumMY. How is Operation Prove GP Wrong going - you're having acu, yes? Are you going to go and see a different GP and ask for a repeat SA? What's the plan of action.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 11:42

Morning Keep

So pleased you had a good night last night. Hope dinner with the inlaws goes ok.

Yes Olives of course, good luck for today!

The cake is immense Keep I am indeed having accu, my second one is tomorrow morning. Our consultant appointment is in 3 weeks, so we are going to wait till then for another SA, as I trust them to make sure it gets done properly and to explain it to us properly afterwards as well. I am hoping we are going to get some more answers when we go and that a proper plan will put into place. I have totally accepted the idea that we need help now. I just need to have it straight in my head what is going to happen. I like a good plan me Grin

Is it your first appointment next week?

Solars · 06/07/2012 11:51

Hello everyone!

Hope everyone is doing ok, sorry in advance as i've only been able to catch up a little on you all!

Well done on the peak Sparkes you go get thee to bed!

Keep so sorry about af but lovely to hear you've had a lovely anniversary evening! We have ours in a couple of weeks, I have been hinting to DH it's coming up so hopefully he won't forget!

Good luck with scan the Olives

Maybe hope you are well, is it your next acu tmrw?

Geek it's been raining all morning here too! Although for some strange reason i'm quite liking it Hmm I had a rotten night too last night, I couldn't sleep for ages as I was so hot too!

Will brook for that mini heatwave for you Cupcakes

Scarlett hope you're doing well and good luck with your appointment next week(?)

Not much to report from me, my 99p bargain cd arrived a couple of days ago and I have to admit, well apart from last night because I was over heating, it's working a treat! If anyone is interested it's the Zita West one for conceiving! AF is NOT due this weekend however with the start of acu etc I'm not entirely concerned so if no show then I will be testing early next week. No symptoms to report either boring!

Waves to everyone else!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 12:10

Solars AF is most certainly not darkening your doorstep. There, I have spoken.

I am indeed off to my second accu tomorrow, really looking forward to it. How many sessions have you had now? I'm glad the CD is helping

Geeklette · 06/07/2012 12:53

Good luck for your second accu maybe

solars that's great news on your CD, but sorry you've had a disturbed night also. This is weird weather!

Superdrug are doing pregnancy care vitamins for 10p per pack of 60 (reduced from £6.99). I don't know if there is a limit on the number of packs per customer, I only bought the one pack this lunchtime, but in case anyone wants to stock up...

Not much else to add just now - still feeling really rough, but just about everything fits into both the 'symptoms' camp and the 'going down with a cold' camp so at the moment I'm just allowing myself to feel a little hope. Was it you maybe who said it is nice to fantasize in the 2ww? I couldn't agree more :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 13:01

I think I have indeed Geek A little hope is always good Smile

GreenOlives · 06/07/2012 13:05

Hello lovely brookers! Olivebean has a little flickering heartbeat, it made me cry when I saw it on the screen (and DH welled up too!) I am obviously thrilled but there's still a very long road ahead so I'm not getting too excited yet. My lovely consultant is going to keep scanning me regularly as he says there is lots of evidence that even just regular scans can have a positive effect on pregnancy outcome in recurrent miscarriers - I'm not going to argue with that! So next scan will be on 16th July and I've graduated from the infertility clinic to the antenatal one which seems like a nice positive step too. Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 06/07/2012 13:23

Oh Olives I am so so pleased for you, this is so lovely. Well done for graduating. 16th July, not long to wait till you get to see bean again Smile
