Fingers crossed bigbo sounds very promising!!!
When are you going to poas?

Thinkingof4 · 16/10/2012 18:31

Just realised your wee one is still only v little 6 or 7 months? Blimey are you still on mat leave then? I'm sure you would be able to go back for a few months though wouldn't you?

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 16/10/2012 18:56

bigbo congrats. Is your little one really only 6 or 7mo? You are a brave woman!

BigBoPeep · 17/10/2012 15:33

brave in a stupid way! haha! Yes she's 6.5mo. I've JUST come off maternity leave, but am self employed so to an extent I can pick and choose what/when I do.

...test was negative and marmite cravings have gone, BUT, it could be a bit early for that? Not really problem at this stage as we weren't planning on TTC until new year!!

LolaDontCryOverSpiltBleach · 17/10/2012 20:47

Maybe try again soon bigbo ,

I have nothing going on here have just spent an hour getting DS asleep and boobed the whole time, have been feeling fat and drained so am guessing AF will be here in a week that's how it works round here!

Feeling miffed!

Jakeyblueblue · 17/10/2012 22:24

Miffed here too. Sad
Had the bug and now dh has got it. Got ewcm and ov pain, cd14 tmrw. Looking like it would have been the perfect cycle but too damn ill to even care! Sad

LolaDontCryOverSpiltBleach · 17/10/2012 23:05

It's shite.

And one thing is bothering me so i will use you lot as free therapy,
DP keeps saying ''c'mon girl get moving, we do want this baby before DS' wedding'' and i know he is joking he has the biggest smile when he say's it and i get his humor but wow does it piss me off, not for long but it does for the whole minute i remember it.
And today i visited my sister for lunch and her DP came in and said ''so you two have been trying a while are you still trying or did you stop?''
I get that my sister would tell him, that is normal couples do that, but why why why did he ask me about it?

And of course on my way home i thought of a million funny comebacks about his sex life and me asking, but nope i just sort of went 'hm, um ,well'

Ahhhhh feel better now.

I am happy to be anyone else's shouting pillow too.

jennimoo · 18/10/2012 07:13

lola You need to tell your DH that makes you feel crappy! Not much you can do about other people but hopefully your DH will stop the comments.

I'm 7dpo but felt a bit sick yesterday. Don't know how long ill hold off poas, especially as I've now got the more sensitive test sticks...

LolaDontCryOverSpiltBleach · 18/10/2012 09:36

Think i fixed it last night jenni , he rubbed my stomach and said 'think it's worked this month?, i'm ready for baby shopping' so i tapped his unmentionables roughly and replied 'i don't know maybe get yourself into action'.

He rubbed his balls better and said he was just kidding, apologized and made me hot chocolate and a bath Grin

jennimoo · 18/10/2012 14:02

lola Lol! Perfect response!

Thinkingof4 · 18/10/2012 14:17

I'm glad you put him right Lola I don't think men really get how it feels to be TTC for a while

jennimoo step away from the pee sticks!! It's too soon, wait till Sunday at least Wink

HairyToothbrush · 18/10/2012 14:48

I've only had AF twice since dd was born. It was a 34 day cycle which was the same as my pre pregnancy cycle. AF should have come a few days ago if that were the case, but I've had nothing. I don't think I'm pg, so just wondering if it's normal to have irregular cycles while bf'ing? Sorry but I literally don't know anything about these kind of things Blush

LolaDontCryOverSpiltBleach · 18/10/2012 15:04

Hi all, have been sick four times and it's coming out the other end too i feel like rubbish.

Think we have all got something now, DS looks a bit peaky too.
I think this month has been a no chancer now, feels like i am going to come on bloody early!

hairy i think it takes a while to get into the flow, i had around four before i could guess when they would be coming.

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 18/10/2012 15:31

lola the sickness bug really seems to be doing its round isn't it?

hair I don't know the answer to that, sorry.

HairyToothbrush · 18/10/2012 16:48

Thank you both anyway. And I hope you feel better soon Lola.

jennimoo · 18/10/2012 17:52

hairytoothbrush mine have been much less regular than before, and little changes in your LOs feeding patterns can sometimes upset a cycle. My LO started switching sides constantly and I had a really short cycle (possibly no ovulation) my first month TTC. Very annoying!

Jakeyblueblue · 18/10/2012 20:14

Oh no! Not another one with the lurgy! Sad

BigBoPeep · 19/10/2012 07:35

In the full awareness I'm jinxing myself now, I've never had this D&V virus that seems to start doing the rounds on a regular basis now as I work by myself outside. I think with kids around it'll now be unavoidable though and absolutely DREADING it. Muchos sympathies to those suffering :(

No more symptoms here...probably a false alarm. Blush Well broody though.

Someone on here came up with a good response to the 'how long were you trying for your baby'? comments I saw once = "about 10mins, including foreplay." Grin

Thinkingof4 · 20/10/2012 10:10

Shock I can't believe you have all got the lurgy now too! Sorry I must have breathed on the computer or something Wink

I hope people are mostly on the mend now. jakey maybe being I'll will have delayed your ov and you may still get a chance this cycle?

I'm about day 7 or 8 dpo and feeling sl sick this morning
not planning to test till next weekend though, if I can hold off that long!!

jennimoo · 20/10/2012 18:45

I better not stay long, don't want to catch this bug!

BFN this morning (too early, I know...) but have had tummy ache all day, I think it's gas, so a good sign...

LolaDontCryOverSpiltBleach · 21/10/2012 10:27

Still might happen jenni .

Am i the only one not testing until my period is late?!, you guys are a bad influence where exactly can i get these early tests?

Grin
jennimoo · 21/10/2012 12:44

I find if I poas every day it's like letting myself down slowly, and if I had a chemical pregnancy I'd like to know so at least I know the DTD is 'working'!

Got my last batch of tests from homehealth-uk.com/ and I think I got 10 opks and 20 super sensitive hpts for less than the cost of a test in boots.

MrsHuxtable · 21/10/2012 19:53

Hello everyone, can I join you lovely ladies please?
DD is 8.5 months and for practical reasons (work/childcare) I really, really need to get pregnant again next year between January and September the very latest, but preferably in April or May (I'm loling at myself here btw, I know how hugely unrealistic this is but it would be ideal.)
Anyway, I have no periods yet but have been feeling crampy on and off for a few weeks, peaking early this week with a few drops off blood over 3-4 days, and I really mean only drops! Could this be a sign that my periods will make a return soon? Has anyone had this?
DD usually feeds mid-morning, mid-afternoon, bedtime and a few times during the night. We co-sleep so giving up the night-feeds will be hard and I hope, it won't be necessary in order to conceive or get my fertility back in the first place. I'm trying to cut out the day time feeds slowly.
I'd like to keep bfing her til she's 2, ideally morning and bedtime, possibly bedtime only, again depending on what I have to do to get pregnant again. I worry hugely that I will have to give up alltogether in order to conceive, in fact I'm consumed by the idea but then I tell myself that I've got slighly less than a year, am 29 (so should be fairly fertile) and got pregnant the first cycle of trying last time.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I could do in order to AF back?
Also, if you have conceived before while bfing, how long did it roughly take?

I'm trying hard not to sound like a totally obsessed loon here but really, in reality, I am...

jennimoo · 21/10/2012 21:48

Hello, but no advice really, sorry. My AF came back at 7 months despite a milk a holic baby, and my 2y DD still has about 6 feeds a day! (Or could be more I try not to keep track!

Had a bit of trouble wrestling the boobs out of the top / bra for DD today. Just looked in the mirror and pretty sure they are massive! Trying not to get my hopes up, but gotta be a good sign, right?

MrsHuxtable · 22/10/2012 11:41

Jennimoo, so if AF came back after 7 months, have you been ttc ever since?
