You're not due for another few days, are you? So a test isn't 100% accurate yet... it ain't over until the old lady (AF) arrives. We can't make you stay but it'd be nice to have your company a while longer!

So yesterday night I had v.light spotting and thought it was the start of AF but nothing as yet.... Also still have the 'symptoms' so everything crossed.

I bet AF arrives tomorrow... Either way I will test in the morning.... Wish me luck x

Wiggy I've read for some people the bfp can take time to show on a pg test. So lack of AF is the best sign.

Have decided we probably were 3 days before instead of 2, well, maximum 2 and a half I think having done a little diagram involving + OPK and surge and all that. anyone else have to figure it out using pen and paper?

So I'm not hopeful this time. Or maybe I'm just relieved....anyway, 7/8dpo and refusing to even think about buying a test.

Hi everyone, I joined this thread at the start but I've been trying not to be so obsessive about ttc this month-iv failed miserably! I ditched the opk this month which I do feel better for but I have no idea when I ovulated or if I ovulated! I had no ewcm this month either so her I am in cd 21, haven't got a clue when AF is due (sometime between 14th and the 19th I think!) therefore I will not test until the 20th. I have no tests in the house and I plan to keep it that way until the 20th!

Hi Happily! Glad that you feel better for ditching the OPKs. I think that's the way to go I gave up on them after a nearly-positive, I ran out, ds was ill so couldn't get to the shops and just thought, sod it!

There's only so many that will fit in my desk drawer that you can look at before you get bored.

I just had an OMG moment about my boobs. they have been going mental the last couple of days, just walking round the house this morning and they're not big puppies, iykwim, so I thought, right. Oo-er. And locked the bathroom door, which we never do and looked in the mirror and they are just completely like an Underground map.

I mean I thought they were looking more blue the last few months but this is serious blueness

Flightty that sounds VERY promising!! Keeping fingers crossed for you. It's always nice to be reminded that it is possible!! Sometimes it feels inevitable that it'll be another BFN (and this is only cycle 3 for me!).

Am feeling faintly queasy this morning but am only about 4DPO (maybe, I have no idea if/when I ovulate so might not have even happened yet). Think it's most likely due to the rich meal I had last night. Complete with goats cheese and a glass of so not ideal for the pg. still nothing would have implanted yet so it would be fine and probably ALL IN MY HEAD.

Happily, good luck with the not testing. I try to stay strong but usually crack the day before AF is due.

I cracked and tested....BFP! But AF not due until Monday/Tuesday, so have to remind myself how early days it is....that's the problem with these early test kits. Am feeling pretty shit, though, so I guess that's a good sign

Thankyou CiF, that's really sweet of you, and I hope you manage to get a BFP this month. Not been ttc properly as such, just talking about it and letting it happen iyswim but a lot of us seem to have been starting around January don't we. Which is kind of nice.

Is your due date around 21st December? I think that's what mine was and AF is due the same time as yours.

Thank you! Yes, due date would be 20th December, but I am feeling very cautious - it's so early, could end up being chemical pregnancy. I'll test again in a few days. Boobs are SO sore though, remember this from first time around

My AF is due Tues like yours was and hearing your wonderful news is tempting me to test but I will not be testing until until at least then because I have learnt my lesson previously.

Which prams do you like then? I have only had 4 prams / pushchairs over 3 kids, which I think is quite restrained! I always fancied the iCandy ones but never could justify it. Maybe if we succeed with trying now...

Oh yes the icandy ones are really nice looking aren't they. I've not had one of those.

I'm ashamed to say I've had over 50 pushchairs/prams, but that's just between us you understand...I'll be chucked off the thread

We've got a Bugaboo Bee and it's seen DS from birth through to now. Was tempted to get another, DH wanted a Maclaren or similar, but he's nearing the weight limit on all of them anyway. Don't think we'll need a double, but I do love the Baby Jogger Citi Mini.

Could use some advice - I've got a short LP with lots of spotting, so I made an appointment with my GP to discuss. Period has just shown up in full force today and it is so painful. I typically have bad cramps, this month is particularly severe, plus I get lots of clotting. Wondered if anyone has these symptoms and know what is the underlying cause? I've read fibroids, estrogen dominance, etc. But wondered if there is any real life evidence out there? Thank you!

We had an iCandy cherry with DD. And if you think that weighs a ton, Olivetti - you should try the Phil & Teds we swopped it for when we thought we'd need a double buggy. Sadly the iCandy lost a wheel just before Christmas and I'm waiting to see whether it's worth forking out for a new chassis (i.e. will I need to use it again for another baby). In the meantime I've got the P&T for when DD needs a buggy (she walks most places now) and it drives me mental - it's so heavy!! And it probably annoys me more because I've only got one child in it, when i thought I'd have two.

For me, I was pleased to see a small temp rise this morning which suggests i ov'd yesterday - day 16. We DTD last night, so hopefully we've timed it right......

LBOT - x posted. Sorry AF got you. I don't think I have an answer to your question - only to say that I always used to get the most appallingly painful periods - very heavy and with some clotting. I had a diagnosis of PCOS when I was about 20 but by the time I was having fertility tests about ten years later, PCOS wasn't detected but I was still having the awful periods.

Strangely, my periods have been pain-free since I had DD. My very, very worst one was in fact the last one I had before we conceived her (I remember it starting on NYE 2008 and collapsing in agony on the bathroom floor).

If it helps at all, I had those awful periods but nothing was wrong and we did manage to conceive DD, so it might just be bad luck. Hope the GP has some answers for you though.

happilymarried sensible not having any tests in the house otherwise it is nearly impossible not to crack and test early. I have zero self control on these matters, also applies to jaffa cakes.

flightty will second what has been said, does sound very promising! It's so strange imagining a strangers boobs and nodding sagely in agreement that you must be upduffed . I've got an icandy pear which I love (but agree with olivetti it is very heavy). Have you seen the new collections? Vair nice! I got it as was planning on having another fairly quickly and think you can adapt it to carry two sprogs. However my DS has refused to sit in it for months and baby 2 is in no hurry to be created!
