Hello ladies, come and share the tedious 2ww with us!

I worked out when I got pg last time that I could have 3 cups of tea a day. They recommend no more than 200mg if caffeine a day when pg. The average mug of instant coffee has 100mg, filter coffee 140mg and tea is around 75mg.

Af is due on the 13th, but if I wait until then it won't be the 2ww it'll be the 2w4-5dw. I do know I should though as it wouldn't be the first time I've tested early only to go on to mc.

However just out of interest (or my impatience kicks in) when would be the earliest I could test?

Id say 4 days early is ok but it depends on what test you use. I've got eBay cheapos and they're v sensitive.

I'm really going to try and wait til at least mon before I test. Im really not holding out much hope tho I felt a bit crampy earlier so who knows.
I really hate this waiting around.

Oh no! I disappear for a couple of days and look at all those AFs ...well, don't look at them, just, you know!

Well I am officially on my 2ww again now and already obsessively symptom spotting. Not hungry at all, very bloated, nesting like crazy ...is this even a valid symptom?! At least my flat is nice and clean though!

Who is testing next then? It's about time we had some more bfps me-thinks...

I'm going try really hard to hold off testing because I don't think I am and don't want to see anymore BFNs.

The waiting is the worst part... If only we could all get unexpectedly pregnant at a time that happens to be the right time, it would make it so much easier!!

Good luck to all those about to test. Will unfortunately be a few weeks for me but at least we're getting plenty of practice in so that we're sure we know what we're doing when it comes to the right time!!

Greendrangonfly apparently first response do a test that can detect 6 days early. I've always used clearblue which are 4 days.

Stats update! Seems like a lot of people might be testing soon...fingers crossed for you all!

Hi winkly hope you're feeling a little bit more upbeat today and ready to start getting ready to DTD again?!? How is everyone else doing?

Well....I am on cd30, 15dpo...... no AF but BFN y'day, no symptoms really, bit bloated and on/off cramping is about all!?!? Planning on testing again in the morning with FMU, using a different brand HPT as just figured out that all my testing has been with the same internet strips - although they are meant to be the 10mIu ultra sensitive ones - going to try a boots one instead (saving the CB Digi's for the BFP!!!)

Advice needed from anyone who may know please...... I had a chemical preg at xmas, was about 5 wks - hadn't known I was pregnant as tested day before AF turned up and BFN but when I went to see the doctor after bleeding for 10 days and very different from normal cycle, she instantly said CP - she also said that the test prob would have been negative, even though I had worked out being about 2 days late!??! Anyway stopped bleeding but next AF didn't arrive till cd39 - AF was back to normal and lasted about 4/5 days - my normal cycle is 24-29 days - heres the question....should my cycle have gone back now I have had an AF since the CP or will it still be trying to sort itself out, which is why I seem to be having a longer than usual cycle - I can't understand how being two days late then CP could have such an effect on AF cycle?????

Really sorry for such a self obsessed post but I really value all the advice you ladies have to offer on here and I am very confused xx

Just been the toilet and almost gave in and tested again, I agree ellesabe this is no fun anymore I am going crazy.

Windmill I have no idea about the CP and the impact it might have on you, but over the past couple of years, I have come to realise that although our bodies are amazing at adjusting, there are certain things that really do take their toll, but of course that's not to say that you haven't timed it right this time! Have you been doing anything to track when you ov'd? Because our LP doesn't usually change by more than a couple of days, if you know when you ov'd, then you should know when you're due! If AF isn't here yet, then things are still looking good!

My AF was due today...!!! Going a little crazy here. DH wants me to wait until Saturday to test, only another 24hrs really, but I'm at home with just DS tomorrow and am sure I'm going to crack! Like others, I really don't want to see NOT pg on my test - I'm sure just having AF will make it easier, without the proof beforehand! The worst thing is, I think even DH is beginning to believe me, which almost makes me more worried that I'm deluding us both!

Good luck to the rest of us testing imminently - surely laws of physics or biology or whatever would dictate that there are some BFPs on their way?!

Cherry, have I missed something? You said before that you had a BFP on Tuesday?! Are you not believing it because it was an early test, or was it a typo? Sorry if I'm being dense btw!

Hi Pipsicles no sadly it was a BFN on Tuesday I have just checked back and I have put BFP this is how bad I am obsessing or could it be pregnancy brain

I have given in this morning and had a BFP! (two actually!)

Although I was pretty convinced, I was still in denial because it took us 6 cycles last time and we hadn't really planned to try just yet, so this was a bit of a spontaneous one. I've been battling nausea the last three days, not always successfully, and when I woke up this morning and felt sick straight away, I decided that enough was enough! I used my out of date ebay cheapie and my Sainsbury's own digital and both showed results pretty quickly!

I'm sorry if you've had AF or a BFN recently, but I know there are a few more tests due over the next couple of days or so, so I'm hoping to get some buddies?!
