Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Wow Candy Congrats, Thanks you must be sooooo excited....glad your not going, could do with some of your luck rubbing off on us :)

Panda sorry AF has arrived :(

Pipbin loving the stats, plenty more BFP's left for this thread :)

Finger's crossed that AF goes to visit her other non ttc niece this month for all those of you who are due soon...... eyes closed, positive thinking and sending you all BFP's telepathically

I'm currently CD24, 11dpo and AF due sunday, so my mothers day will either be spent crying hyserically into a BFN (surely mother nature wouldn't do that to me on mothers day???) or pleased as punch with a BFP!

I'm not feeling pregnant at all, no signs or symptoms (and I've been looking, trust me!) :( my tummy feels like AF is most definately on her way, very twingey and crampy, also got plenty of very creamy CM. Ooooh and my nipple tingled in the shower yesterday Blush! But all these are consistent with AF arriving in a few days. So I'll not jump off the plane just yet I'm scared of heights, but I'm pretty sure this isn't our month :( sob...

Crazytictac · 14/03/2012 08:20

Whoop whoop candy, brill news! Bet you're still in shock! :)

pickled don't want to get your hopes up but sounds positive. Know what you mean about the Mother's Day thing, had crossed my mind too. Rooting for ya!

Loving the stats list pipbin, I've already imagined my name with a BFP. 7 is my lucky number you see :). Nah I'm not feeling that this is my month in all honesty. Time will tell (s-l-o-w-ly).

Anyone else testing soon?

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 08:24

Excellent news Candypop congratulations, pleased for you. :)

Fingers crossed for this flight being the exception that proves the rule and is statistically more 'lucky' than it should be!! Wink

I'm too scared to jump off this flight & join an antenatal bus just yet. Feel like it will be tempting fate. I think if I get past 5wks and a few more BFPs in the process, I might chuck on the parachute and exit the plane... or I might wait til 6wks.Hmm Already been re-examining my wardrobe for suitability during pg which is a tad early!!! Blush

MummyNickleby · 14/03/2012 08:25

Congratulations Candy! That is fabulous news Grin
AF hasn't developed at all yet, just a bit of spotting... Still time though, she's often quite for a day or so. Hope the painful bit is over by tomorrow PM as off to see Billy Connolly in Brighton tomorrow night.
Never know... Might be implantation spotting Wink

combatqueen · 14/03/2012 08:31

wow candy thats great news you must be so pleased.

I'm going to hold off testing for as long as I can, ff app is telling me to test on 25th March. My AF date on the stats list (17th) is based on my previous cycles with only a 6 day LP. I'm CD22, 8 DPO now and keeping everything crossed.

MrsTwinks · 14/03/2012 09:02

Congrats candy!!

You never know mummynickleby, it might well be!! Today I've noticed my boobs are suddenly Alot rounder than normal Winklol and I've got proper sickness going on. Also now 4/5 days of dull cramping and not a sign of AF which is unheard of. Maybe taking the waters in bath worked? Arghhh.. It's doing my head in now these last few days! Last month AF was crazy early so didn't have this

bettergetamoveon · 14/03/2012 09:36

congratualtions candy - fantastic news Smile

combatqueen, looking positive. To have so far lengthened your LP this month is great news either way isn't it? Fingers crossed for you.

MrsTwinks, could be symptoms?
MummyNickleby - you never know might be implantation spotting. Enjoy Billy Connolly. I went to see hin years ago in Glasgow and he was great.

I wonder if my B6 intake has helped with my spotting? I hate to say that in case spotting arrives, but previously I had been spotting for 5 days before AF arrived. AF due on Friday and no spotting yet.

I had a giggle when I saw that on the stats I had said AF due 18/03. i was obviously feeling optimistic that I would lengthen by LP/cycle this month from 26-28!

I have been feeling a bit sick but I really think it's due to my illness last week. When I discovered I was pregnant with DS, I had overwhelming symptoms about 4 days before AF was due. Keep expecting the full blown syptoms and feel if I don't get them then this isn't my month!

LimeLeafLizard · 14/03/2012 09:48

Well done Candy that is fantastic news!

I won't be joining you in POAS today since AF made her appearance promptly this morning. Sad
I feel unreasonably sad considering the circumstances, but we've all been there, I suppose...

Need to book my seat on the next flight, which if successful would mean a Christmas baby. Maybe we should ride Santa's sleigh next flight?!! Hope those of you on the antenatal bus will look up and wave!

But meanwhile, there are still plenty of BFPs available for those of you still on this flight. Over to Pipbin to compute...

Right, who's next to test? Grin

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 10:07

Woohoo - big congrats Candy!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Trying to focus on our holiday now so I can stop obsessing about ttc yeah right!

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting to test!

Sticklebricksuk · 14/03/2012 11:41

Awww congrats Candy and so loving the stats, making me feel all optimistic! 2 friends have announced their pregnancies this week, both in the first month of trying Happy for them, but also a bit grrrrrrr I'm sure you know what I mean.

I have some cramping but that's all. I had a weird cycle of 38 days last month, much longer than my usual 26(ish) days, and wasted a lot of time and money on poas was so hopeful, so this month have given myself a good talking to and trying to not get my hopes up. Because of weird cycle have no idea what it will be this month, so I'm working on a 28 day cycle which my app has worked out as an average of the last few months, that means AF is due on 20th. But who the hell knows. Am determined not to POAS this month until 24th. Honest

cherrypiew3 · 14/03/2012 12:36

Congratulations CandySmile

LimeLeaf sorry to hear AF has arrived.

Keeping my fingers crossed for everybody else.

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 12:47

Thanks Crazy when are you going to test? Mothers day too?!

Sorry AF has come LimeLeaf

Panda are you going anywhere nice?

Stickle goodluck holding out POAS, sadly positive thinking I fear has failed me this month, but....I'm gonna keep it up as it can't hurt to try it is soooo our month Lol

Best of luck to all for BFPs

Pipbin · 14/03/2012 12:54

Congrats Candy!

I'll work out the stats again tonight when I get home.

Ok someone needs to shake me by the shoulders whilst shouting in my face to "get a-hold-a yourself!" because:

Usually AF comes around CD 32 (but CD 30 and 34 are not unheard of). I get a bit of boob pain in advance (never during) and terrible cramps for the first 12 hours, two days of heavy bleeding with (TMI ALERT!) some quite chunky clots followed by three more days of gradually decreasing bleeding (that still requires tampons) followed by probably a day of spotting.

Bear with me because this is the part that will most probably require a face-slap:

Sunday night would have been 12 dpo and CD 30 when I got some spotting (cue minor breakdown, sobbing into PandaPuppy's fur etc). Monday morning AF appeared to be in full flow, yesterday appeared to be continuing but by last night was down to spotting again and today has disappeared except for a bit of brown CM. Also I've only had a couple of very tiny clots. However cramps and stabbing boob pains have remained (which has never happened before).

So anyone who has read this far will probably guess my question: was this AF or could it have been implantation bleeding or decidual bleeding and therefore should I waste money and POAS?!

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 14:44

Limeleaf - boo! to your AF but (notwithstanding my straw-clutching post above) I'll jump on the sleigh to Christmas babies with you!

PickledHegg - we're off to Florida. At least I'll be able to hit the rollercoasters!

Elizadoesdolittle · 14/03/2012 14:54

Hi ladies, just popped in to see how our flight is progressing. Huge congrats to candy and chunky join us on the nov 2012 thread when you feel ready. I sort of don't feel quite ready to be there yet myself but it's nice to chat to others in the same boat. Hopefully a lot more of you will move over there this month.

Commiseration's to those who have had AF. Wishing you luck for next cycle. Good luck to those still on this flight.

MrsTwinks · 14/03/2012 15:03

panda poas! At least you'll know either way

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 15:19

Have you got any cheap sticks on which to P Pandawatch? I've never had a bleed during pg so can't say for sure, but have had some freaky things occur for no good reason when TTC so it could be an unusal AF or the other. If you don't believe it was AF, then POAS if only to stop the 'what if's...

Sorry AF's visiting Limeleaf better luck next month & a lovely Christmas present.

And all those symptom-plotters - I had dull cramps, very gentle twinges really, across back or front on & off for about a week, which would be ~9dpo. Before the cramps, I had a MAJOR dizzy spell which was so big I swear I thought the room moved!!! That has happened regularly since then, with a sick feeling too. So who knows?

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 15:30

No Chunky - I'd have to go and buy some sticks. Gah! I know I'm probably just imagining things. I stumbled across a programme called "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" the other day which has given me all sorts of false hope. I swear its just propaganda put about by the Stick-Makers!

So unless I get any other symptoms I'm going to try my best to be sensible and not waste a stick.

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:05

Panda I swear its just propaganda put about by the Stick-Makers! - PMSL, best line I've read for a while!

If I were you, I'd have to POAS, last year my sister didn't know she was pregnant until she POAS, thought 4wks preg, had pains, rushed in for an "early" scan and found out she was 6 months gone, had periods as normal all through!

Florida? How lovely, I'm jealous! :)

Chunky I had sold myself short thinking AF was imminent this month...due to your gorgeous BFP and your symptoms, I'm starting to imagine notice all the things you've pointed out :) Well fingers crossed and I shall see Sunday if I manage to steer around my tests until then!

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 16:19

Argh! Now you're just encouraging me

See PickledHegg when I hear stories like yours, with it being your sister rather than "a friend of a friend who read about someone who said..." it does give me hope! I think I'm going to wait for DH to come back on Sunday and if I'm still getting cramps and boob pains then I'm going to get a stick to PO! Fingers crossed for you too (although obviously given that, unlike me, you're still awaiting AF rather than being in denial about it your chances are much better!)

Crazytictac · 14/03/2012 16:27

pickled I've told myself im going to test next Monday but there is a high chance of me cracking earlier, say Saturday. Can't do Sunday as it will be the ultimate kick in the face if it's a BFN. On the benefit of doubt that I ovulated say last Mon/tues I'll be approx 11 days DPO on Sat. With my DS I tested 4-5 days early and the pregnancy line flashed up before the control line had finished so I'm hoping the same luck applies again.

panda that is a dilemma! Not much use asking me as I have zero self control on these matters so am very biased towards the poas propaganda :o.

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:30

I know what you mean, if it wasn't my sister I'd never have believed it (I never believed the stories I'd heard before either esp the ones who didn't know until they were in the loo and a baby fell out?! Lol).

Chants - POAS POAS POAS POAS you have to know either way, for the rollarcoasters :) x

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:32

Crazy Ooooh there's hope for you saturday then :) I'm gonna give saturday a go too :) x

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 17:04

I'll join you in the hopefully completely superfluous POAS-ing on Saturday too. It's a crazy reassurance thing, plus uses up all my sticks... Grin

There will be lots of BFP announcements on Saturday, I'm sure :)
