NOW BOARDING!

I'm due AF 11/1/12 so out of time for the previous bus so thought I'd start a new one! Well a space shuttle (why not!!!).

So I'll start:

ahhhhhpushit TTC#2 AF due 11/1

I'm currently on cd 15 so have been SWI like mad this week :)

ahhhhhpushit · 07/01/2012 00:05

OP posts:
ahhhhhpushit · 07/01/2012 00:06

piggy and madmonkey any updates???

OP posts:
MadMonkeys · 07/01/2012 08:58

No updates from me - my resolve was strong enough to resist the urge to test this morning. I've only got two tests left (until my Ebay beauties arrive) so I'm saving them for Monday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's so hard isn't it? My cycles can be quite irregular so it can be a long wait to see what's happened. Last time we were ttc my cycles were up to 56 days long - that was annoying! But they are generally around 30 days since having DD so hopefully I should know one way or the other next week. Then it all starts again!

PrimalChic · 07/01/2012 09:59

Happy Birthday ahhhhpushit!!!

Test day today? Best birthday present ever, surely!

PrimalChic · 07/01/2012 10:01

freddie that's rubbish :( hope you had a generous measure of whiskey and maybe a nibble of blue cheese left over from Christmas

Chunkychicken · 07/01/2012 10:10

Fingers crossed for you ahhhhhpushit.

Have now convinced myself that we're going to have to DTD next month, so telling DH that I'll be 'forcing' him to SWI every other day, regardless... He seems up for the challenge, but then, it'll only be cycle 2. I'll ask him in a few cycles time whether he's as happy about it!!!

So conflicted at mo too. Feeling totally unpregnant but really wanted to achieve it first time, as we did with DD. At the same time, feel like I'm not appreciative of my DD, how simple it all was then & stupidly fixated on the 'ideal' age gap between them... Surely it'll happen when its meant to??!!

Losing the faith so early on in the enterprise, I have no staying power!!! If I could face Wine, I'd raise a (couple of) glass to everyone in the same position & drown my sorrows!! Wink

Chunkychicken · 07/01/2012 10:13

Freddie sorry, meant to say in my last post, that sucks & better luck nxt cycle. When I had my DD I had a stupidly short cycle prior to conceiving her, prob due to stress, & had no idea when to expect AF, except sometime on our honeymoon. Luckily she was absent... Wink

ahhhhhpushit · 07/01/2012 10:33

BFN this morning and deffo AF rumblings going on :( ah well, we'll see.

Going to enjoy my birthday and not let it get me down Grin

barkwithnobite · 07/01/2012 10:59

Happy bday ahhhhpushit.......DH shagged daily on holiday over Xmas, and hey presto BFP with dc3 on cycle 2 after removing coil. So surreal!

barkwithnobite · 07/01/2012 11:00

It wasn't really SWI, just SWC! I'm in panic mode now though, and I haven't even told DH.

PrimalChic · 07/01/2012 11:06

It ain't over til the fat aunt sings ahhhpushit :) have a lovely birthday, hope you're thoroughly spoilt rotten!

Congratulations bark!

Chunkychicken · 07/01/2012 11:28

I agree with PrimalChic, ahhhhhpushit - there's still time. But enjoy your birthday, don't think about it too much, just have fun!!! Grin

FreddieMercurysBolero · 07/01/2012 12:08

Oh, pushit, I'm sorry. Although at least you may be able to have a drink on your birthday eh?

I'm almost sure it's AF. It's not as heavy as usual but I had an implantation bleeed with DS and it was nothing like this. Oh well, at least I won't be sick through my exams!

Primal, I may have had a wodge last night after my third whiskey!

Chunky- here's hoping! Tis only my first try anway, I think DH got his hopes up more than me, poor fella!

How many BFPs has the thread had now?

barkwithnobite · 07/01/2012 15:20

Thank you all.....looking forward to hearing about more BFPs.....

Smiller10 · 07/01/2012 15:53

puts hand up at the back of the shuttle

CD10 today. I felt a bit 'periody' yesterday. I wondered whether it was my system gearing up. It's been hibernating for over a decade with the pill. Has anyone else had that?

I had a speculative names conversation with DH last night. He said he liked John - I said it's a lovely, classic name - he sensed the 'but' - but it was my first serious boyfriend's name. He said that's a good enough reason for a veto Blush

Prunella79 · 07/01/2012 16:14

i love talking about names but it seems silly when i'm not even pg. even when i thought i'd never want children i had a couple of names lined up in my head. But talking them through with other people is so difficult - it's so personal and everyone has their own perspectives even especially DH. i dread actually having to make a final decision. love perusing the baby names threads and the baby name finder - i could have lost many hours browsing through the subject.

smiller not sure on the post pill query - coming off the pill is such a shake up, on top ttc makes you far more aware of your body, i found each day of the first month off had it's new and peculiar aches and pains and Hmm moments

oikopolis · 07/01/2012 16:17

Smiller10 on my first cycle post-pill I started to feel really swollen, tender and occasionally crampy in the babymaker area on CD11. It continued till CD15, when I O'd. Next cycle, same thing but only on the day before and of ovulation.

I never ever had ovulation pain or symptoms pre-Pill.

I'm pretty sure it's just all that delicate tissue getting a bit of a shock from the surge of hormones! And it seems that it settles down as time goes on.

Whitenosugarthankyou · 07/01/2012 16:49

So I joined the list then promptly disappeared, but definitely enjoying the ride so far!

bark congratulations on the BFP!

I'm feeling quite hopeful this month but really under the weather. Really tired and hungry all the time, a bit sicky and achy legs today, dizzy spells and had so many ups and downs of emotions the last week! FX for a BFP on Wednesday...

Chunkychicken · 07/01/2012 17:16

Names - oh the HOURS spent doing that, then the instinctive choice post-birth, with a name seemingly plucked out of nowhere!! At least, that's how it seemed with DD, as we didn't know the sex until she arrived. It seems to be even harder with DC#2 as their name as to 'work' with the first's too - don't want to sound an idiot shouting both names across the playground!! Wink
