ahhhhhpushit eek! :)
I'm getting so impatient now, i said to DH last night, i dont want to wait until the weekend to find out!

ahhhhhpushit · 10/01/2012 12:45

chunky that is probably a leetle early. Test again tomorrow and give the test about 7mins to really show and look very closely. My BFP was soooo faint it practically wasnt there Grin

I'd love to join you ladies but am a bit vague about dates because I came off the pill at the end of November and no AF since then. I tested this morning and it was BFN again (5th test over last couple of weeks).

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 12:55

chunkychicken don't read the stats! They are incredibly depressing, especially everyone around you scores in the first month of trying. I keep thinking, well we're definitely not in the 20% then are we?! So no more stats, no more tests and no more symptom spotting for me until the weekend...

But my coffee tasted like bacon and my tea smells of fish today :) argh can't stop it!!!

RunningKatie · 10/01/2012 13:25

Displacedbrit - try not to stress about your age, I was 36 when I had DD as the little madam was 2 weeks late so I had another birthday, and I'll be 37 at the very youngest should we manage to conceive DC2 in the next few months! Wink

I'm feeling quite PMT'ish today & yesterday, but could also be ovulation. DH is being very helpful and offering to SWI every other day "just in case".

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 13:52

running isn't if funny how helpful and thorough DHs can be when it comes to TTC?!

piggyboo · 10/01/2012 14:58

My temp was down again this morning so didn't even bother testing as i knew AF was coming, sure enough she turned up this afternoon :(

At least i get to relax now for a couple of weeks, i think i'm gonna get DH to hide my laptop on my next TWW as i'm sure googling every sign and symptom is not helping, especially as i had no signs with my first except feeling thirsty.

So the only sign i'm going to get excited about in future is no signs at all :)

AF now due 9/2/12

Good luck to all of you still waiting for your BFPs xx

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 15:17

Sorry to hear no luck this month Piggyboo but better luck next month!!

I know what u mean about the TWW & symptom hunting, but I think I take it one step further - I take every post citing 'no symptoms' (such as yours) as proof that I still might get my BFP this month iykwim!! I'll have to wait for AF now though as out of tests... It ain't over til its over :)

oikopolis · 10/01/2012 16:56

Sorry to hear that piggyboo. I am sort of jealous of you. Am dying to take something besides paracetamol for my horrible sore throat/cough but I'm too scared to in case I'm pg. I haven't slept properly in a week!!

My temp is still well above the coverline so we'll see what happens in a few days I guess. CD10 today. Wish it was Saturday already, aaargh!

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 17:21

Ah piggy boo, that's rubbish. Here's to no symptoms = BFP next month.

barkwithnobite · 10/01/2012 17:48

Runnykatie, I burst out laughing when I read your burst. Your DH is offering to SWI eh! I bet that's one very enthusiastic offer from him!!!

OptiMumPrime · 10/01/2012 18:42

displacedbrit, like RunningKatie, I too was 36 when I had my first. It's not old these days! Good luck!

Congratulations, MadMonkeys, wow!

MadMonkeys · 10/01/2012 18:55

No congratulations fo me yet OptiMumPrime - I'm not convinced it was a bfp this morning. I can't decide whether to test again tomorrow or leave it for a couple of days. I'm generally very impatient so I imagine I will poas tomorrow!

busylady99 · 10/01/2012 19:23

Bet I've found a way of getting a guarenteed BFP this month.

We're moving house and were supposed to be exchanging this week and moving from our little flat to a lovely house in the next few weeks but, as of this morning, the chain is looking decidedly shaky.

If I was fate, I'd be in there like a shot!

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 20:27

busylady I think I agree - a small flat +newborn + trying to sell/move are not exactly a match made in heaven, its bad enough trying to sell our house with my 20mths old wrecking the place... Fingers crossed for you!!

piggyboo · 10/01/2012 20:33

busylady, almost certainly will be a bfp at the most inconvienient time, i got my first unexpectedly (weren't even trying) 2 days after i'd bought a complete wreck of a farmhouse. Not ideal, only finished renovating one week before she arrived, luckily she was 10 days late.

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 21:09

Ok, more symptom spotting, and this is a good'un, it's even backed up by googling medical research journals and everything...

Uncomfortable contact lenses.

notthehippopotamus · 10/01/2012 21:36

Congratulations ahhhhhpushit - fantastic news! This seems to be a lucky thread :)

Having said that, I have absolutely no symptoms at all despite my best efforts to spot some. Feel completely normal, apart from stressed out by work - which is normal for me. 10dpo so really nothing to report but I don't think it's going to be my month.

Happy symptom-spotting all!

Panzee · 10/01/2012 21:42

Oh Primal I had uncomfortable contact lenses on Saturday! Along with my other huge list of symptoms that lasted till Sunday. :o

PeppaTwig · 10/01/2012 21:45

PrimalChic, how funny that as soon as I read your post my contact lenses started irritating me. It has to be a sign...!

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 21:45

It's all about steepening of the corneal curvature! Or something. I remembered it being a side affect of the pill many years ago. So that's it, clearly expecting a BFP now thanks to medical journals!!

Chunkychicken · 10/01/2012 21:50

Isn't the contact lenses thing more in later pregnancy though? I was told by my optician that you become more short-sighted as you go through, because your ligaments are relaxing, including your retina. But heh, if it was in a science journal, it must be true! Wink

PrimalChic · 10/01/2012 22:10

la la la...

:)

missuswife · 10/01/2012 22:15

Yes, cakeladyc, I had cramps on the day AF was due and for a couple days after. Not period cramps. They were different. It felt like when I have had a pelvic exam and the doctor palpated my ovaries from the inside. Don't know if they do that here in the UK.

I had really sore boobs since about 7 DPO, still sore, and they are getting bigger and bigger.

Also been really tired, have had headaches, and a couple of dizzy spells that were easily fixed by eating something.

OptiMumPrime · 10/01/2012 22:34

I am thinking positively for you, MadMonkeys. A line is a line, however feint. So hope it wasn't your eyes imagining things. Good luck!
