New thread..... let's get going!!

Oneday it's a pain isn't, we aren't loaded but I also know people that survive on much less. Follow your heart, whatever you decide will come right in the end.

Hi ronia and welcome, it's very quiet around here nowadays but always here if you want a chat :). Try not to worry for the first six months or so and just enjoy some good ol shagging !! :)

Hey cave! Yep certainly is quiet, we need a tumbleweed emoticon. Sorry you've not felt great but I always find a really good cry very therapeutic although tiring. Something to make you smile even though it's waaay TMI. I'm on CD12 and noticed a bit of stretchy CM although a little white rather than clear but thought we'd better get some up there just in case. I was drying my hair and looking for some knickers to wear for bed and found a slutty red underwear set and Cuban stockings so put it on to treat DH which all went v.well until he got too over excited mid thrust, pulled out to far and shot most of it on my bum. Got a teeny bit in but fgs, he's had 15 years experience and gets it wrong tonight! Bloody men Grin. I said well you made a mess of that and he slapped me on the arse and said oh we'll never mind, south parks on and wandered off downstairs :/

Oh raspberry, how romantic Hmm

raspberrytipple · 14/06/2012 11:34

I'm a lucky girl I know :)

How are you feeling today? xx

OP posts:
CaveMum · 15/06/2012 18:19

I'm doing better thanks raspberry. Met up with my pregnant best friend for lunch yesterday and told her. She was great and we actually had a bit of a laugh about the follicle tracking. We do the same thing for the mares when we try to get them in foal: scan for follicles, when one is big enough give a quick shot of LH to trigger ovulation, then send her to the stallion!

DH will be thrilled to be referred to as the stallion Wink

raspberrytipple · 15/06/2012 21:07

Haha, stallion/stud :) men love little pet names :) glad you are feeling a bit better. Always nice to have someone to confide in in rl.

I'm off to a wedding tomorrow and I'm so unprepared, my outfit isn't ready, my legs are a complete mess from pole dance bruises and I'm feeling really fat. Still no one will be looking at me thankfully. Just doesn't look good weather wise does it, horrendous!!

OP posts:
raspberrytipple · 15/06/2012 21:08

I also never knew that was what happened with horses! Never really thought about it before!

OP posts:
CaveMum · 15/06/2012 21:13

I work in horse racing, not on the stud anymore, but yeah it's what they do. Most normal horse breeders dont go to the same lengths! It's a business after all and many of the popular stallions have to fit over 100 mares in during the season (Feb to June), so they need to make sure the mares are sent at exactly the right time so that there are no wasted opportunities.

Honestly, those maresget better attention and monitoring than we women do!

Enjoy the wedding, and fingers crossed the weather is good!

raspberrytipple · 15/06/2012 21:23

100 mares!! Blimey now that's something our-well, my DH definately could not compete with :)

Hey everyone. Fate has it in for me, I think. I've spent the last week trying not to get my hopes up as my period has got later and later in appearing. Today, of course, it is a whole week late and the day I'd decided to do my first pregnancy test for years. So, today is cycle day one, meaning my period has started on both mother's day AND father's day this year. Fuck my life Angry

raspberrytipple · 17/06/2012 16:23

Oh evil I'm sorry (((((hugs))))) its so shit isn't it. I just don't understand why it takes some of us so long when others don't even have to think about it. It's so unfair. Completely understand your anger xxx

Hello again all. I think I'm ready to properly rejoin the thread now. It's been about 7 weeks since I had my miscarriage. Unfortunately it's still a little raw now and again but I'm getting there. For newbies, me and DH had been trying since Dec 2011 and got pregnant in March this year. I went for a private early scan at 9 weeks but the foetus had stopped growing at 5 weeks. Missed miscarriage. I lost it a week or so later. Just finished my first period since the mc so ready to roll (in the bed) again. Will have a read of what everyone has been up to now xx

zippys · 19/06/2012 16:14

Hello ladies, just wanted to pop my head in and give you my good news, we got our BFP just over a week ago from ICSI (after being told odds of sucess low), had my fist scan this morning and we got to see little beans heartbeat. After three year and our m/c I cant tell you the emotions when we saw that little flicker on the screen. Its still early days (6 weeks today) but trying to stay positive Grin . Still on lots of injections to try to prevent m/c but worth the pain a million times over.

Sorry for no personals but just wanted to let anyone who is struggling right now the hope it can happen it just takes a while for some of us.

raspberrytipple · 19/06/2012 17:53

Zippys i just burst into tears reading your post, congratulations, I have absolutely everything crossed for a perfect pregnancy for you. Do keep popping in here!!

Good to hear from you Ratata and that you are feeling ready to come back, I can't imagine what you have been through xx

Don't know what's up with me at the moment, I'm very emotional and haven't been feeling well. I'm due to ovulate this week some time but DH is working such long hrs I daren't put any pressure on him so that's month 2 post lap & dye out the window :(

Zippys I'm so so happy for you and I'm wishing you a lovely, boring pregnancy.

evilgiraffe · 20/06/2012 09:56

Oh, zippys that's fantastic! I am so pleased for you, huge hugs :)

raspberrytipple · 20/06/2012 18:43

How you feeling now evil?

OP posts:
evilgiraffe · 23/06/2012 09:58

Much better, thanks, raspberry - hormones have calmed down so the ability to be pragmatic has returned! Also DH is home again after being away with work all week, so that's helped too. Back to the grind now though - SWI is such a chore, eh?! Grin

CaveMum · 28/06/2012 20:44

How's everyone doing? No news to report here, CD47 and still no ov. Counting down the days till my consultant appointment, 11 days to go!

Ratata · 29/06/2012 19:17

Hi again all, sorry I've been a while. Big congrats to zippys fab news!

cavemum hope the next 10 days go quickly for you xx

I'm ok. Not paying much attention to my dates and things as I think we missed my fertile window. Or we may just have got it, unsure. I've only had one AF since mmc and that took 6 weeks to arrive. So really I don't know where I stand lol. Been having little crampy feelings, period due next Friday I think.

Saw a pregnant woman in the supermarket, that was hard. I really didn't think a mmc would affect me so much. Then I started getting cold feet about having a baby. Today I think I feel normal. Ahh roller coasters lol.

Hope everyone is busy 'at it' haha.

Ratata · 01/07/2012 19:28

So yeah... Way too many pg symptoms right now. I had some cramping, extra cervical mucus and I have on and off nausea. Could I be....? No idea. I feel similar to when I was pg before the mmc. Due to test next Friday. If I am then it was likely that we would have conceived the night that we were both wasted. Nice. Lol Grin

CaveMum · 01/07/2012 19:49

I know what you mean about all the "symptoms", it's so easy to convince yourself that they are all pregnancy symptoms. Frustrating!
