Conception

When's the best time to get pregnant? Use our interactive ovulation calculator to work out when you're most fertile and most likely to conceive.

The rats are all going to be jolly well smacked, we are going to have lots of festive BFPs and possibly a mince pie (or three)

I am going to try and hold out Cupcakes leaves less room for a BFN Smile

How bloody exciting you are going away! I am very jealous. Do you have an inkling of where it might be? When's your birthday?

PopcornMouse · 04/12/2011 15:42

Oh little I'm so pleased for you! Congratulations! Is the cat pleased? :o

Biscuitsandtea · 04/12/2011 15:47

Oh Have - you poor thing- it must be so upsetting - and stuff like the clothes etc that you just don't think of. Are your insurance co being helpful?

As maybe says, a girl should never be without knickers knockers Xmas HmmXmas Wink. There was a definite theory though about attending a wedding commando being a sure fire way to get pg?

Hope you got everything you needed at Tesco - have you been allowed back in to the house to get stuff you needed? I'm just so glad you're both ok and thank goodness for smoke alarms!

Maybe - you do realise next weekend is a flipping week away don't you? So cd 32 now - when would AF normally show her unwelcome face?

Gosh I've been writing this post for so long in between phone calls that I can't remember the other post I wanted to respond to.

Hold on...

Biscuitsandtea · 04/12/2011 15:50

Oh yes, cupcake how exciting! Hope you have a fab time!

popcorn - how about gingerbread? A spot of cinnamon (I think it is) makes them extra Christmassy [fhappy]

dreamfeeder · 04/12/2011 15:50

Not been in for ages, hello everyone!!!!

have, horrible news about the fire.... But it is true, going commando will get you instantly updiffed, twas a friend of a friend of mine who went commando to a wedding (for VPL in any kind of underwear with her posh dress reasons) and got pg, apparently from outdoor nookie on the golfcourse!!!! Really hope it all gets sorted out asap for you, and the insurance company are very lovely and helpful about it all.

Just popped in as it's all happening here! Can't keep up though normally, but delighted little has made it over, and just waiting for the rest of you!!!

Come on ladies, keep up the festive rat-smacking (have, just do a bit of quiet festive rat-smacking at your dads, my friend's first baby was concieved in her husband's brother's bed when they were visiting him in Newcastle- she tells him often to make him feel awkward!)

possiblemaybebaby · 04/12/2011 15:52

Popcorn how about this one?

www.food.com/recipe/zimtsterne-cinnamon-star-cookies-262925

Biscuits I had been having 35 day cycles, but they have gotten a bit shorter, so who knows?!

PopcornMouse · 04/12/2011 15:52

The funniest word I ever heard for nickers (or boxers etc) was "undercrackers" :o

dreamfeeder · 04/12/2011 15:54

p.s. have and everyone else, the fire brigade did a home check for me recently- dd liked it, and most importantly all is fine Chez Dream, except they said the kitchen is the room most likely for a fire to start, and we keep our front door (and all our) keys in the kitchen drawer- so we had to get one cut to hide in the porch in case we couldn't access the kitchen in a fire. They will do one for anyone, plus fit 10 year battery smoke alarms free (ours were fine so they didn't, but said if there's a problem, call again and we'll come and fit ours). Oh, and they also said shut all downstairs interior doors overnight as it will help contain a fire i keep forgetting to do that

PopcornMouse · 04/12/2011 15:55

Ooo thanks maybe that looks perfect. Maybe I'll do a trial run next weekend, just to make sure they work ok before I make them last minute before Christmas :)

PopcornMouse · 04/12/2011 15:55

And by far I of course mean dream.

Errr, errrrrmmmmm, I may just have got a BFP Xmas Confused. There is a very very very very faint mark on an internet cheapy Xmas Hmm. Argggg why did I test so early (10 DPO)??

Biscuitsandtea · 05/12/2011 07:54

This is the best news to wake up to ever. Fact. Oh I am so pleased for you!

Imps7 · 05/12/2011 08:03

Errrrr waaaaaaaaaaaay too early for excitement (particularly when we should all be sending it Maybe's way .

I really don't trust my eyes - I've been able to see something one minute and then nothing the next. TBH, if I looked hard enough I'm sure I could make myself see an outline of a hippo on that damned stick.

musicalmrs · 05/12/2011 08:26

Imps! How exciting! Seconding Beedle - what did you use? Could you get hold of something more sensitive?!

You've brightened my miserable Monday morning journey to work no end!

Biscuitsandtea · 05/12/2011 08:31

Aren't Internet cheapies usually quite sensitive? I think Imps should maybe wait a couple of days to test again.

10dpo is very early to test.....

If you can convince an IC at say 12 or 14 dpo then I'd crack open a FR?

Of course if they're ICs there's no harm in doing one every day?
