Period 3 days late but negative test - should I bother testing again?

Hiya, would be grateful for any advice!

My period was due on sunday. I took a test on monday and then yesterday morning, first thing - both negative. The tests I used were Tesco ones. In the instructions, it said that if you get a negative test after your period is due, you're very unlikely to be pregnant.

Thing is, I'm three days late now and I'm never late. But wonder if it's utterly pointless to spend any more money on a test if the negative result is as definite as it sounds like it is (from the advice in the leaflet). Has anyone had a positive result after a negative result from a test taken after period was due??

Hi looking for info about conception and when to expect a positive pregnancy test... im curently 4 days late usually have a 24 day cycle i could usually set my watch by it... 2 pregnancy tests negative
I took one the day i was due for my af only because i couldnt stomach coffee which is really strange for me... 2nd test today at 4 days late and still negative....
Any ideas whats going on?
I have 3 children and all got positive tests but not to sure how long aften missing period

I've never been on one of these before but I feel like the worry is driving me insane. I'm almost 23. Never had a baby before or been pregnant to my knowledge but lately I've (my body) just been feeling off.. today is day 3 of my period and I took a test and it was a negative. Still absolutely no sign of my period and i got off bc in June, had my gallbladder removed in july and have been having regular periods for the past year. The paranoia is what's really getting me, i almost feel sad that it wasnt positive..

This is an old thread but thought I’d reply and see if we can all help each other through. Like everyone here it seems I have a very regular cycle (27/28days). Period 4 days late, according to ovulation kits I’m 15dpo and I’ve had intermittent cramps for 5 days now. Of course I’ve been testing daily with all sorts of tests and all BFN. I know this likely isn’t my month but I’m going to keep believing it’s possible until AF arrives 😭😭😭😭😭

We took around 6 months to conceive our daughter and at the time it felt like the longest 6 months of my life. It put a massive strain on my marriage and ironically the month I conceived was the month my husband and I were at breaking point with each other. My daughter is now three and I've been off the pill since April. I'm now approaching cycle 11 of trying and last month (and possibly this month) my period has been different. I average a 31 day cycle and have chartered my bbt since Jan as an attempt to try something new. It seems I'm ovulating around day 18/19. I'm now on day 33 of my cycle and have 2 separate incidents of spotting since the early hours of day 32. I've also had loose stools for a week. My bbt has remained above the cover line. Usually my period starts and the flood gates open as such for at least 4days. The last month my bleeding lasted 3 days if I was lucky and it started off as spotting with one day of flown then it stopped again. Why is my period not coming to much? Is this affecting my chances? I apologise for the long post if I'm honest I'm at my wits end with trying especially as so many mums I met first time are onto their second with apparent issues.

I was on the pill, recently got married, within a couple of months had the 'are you ready to start' chat and agreed we were.
Stopped taking the pill this year, had my break through bleed 3/02 for 2 days, lots of pain, then that's been it?
My tracker shows I should of started my period yesterday, but nothing?
Took a test this morning, just thinking could it have happened and it was negative.
Feel so much regret that I hadn't stopped taking the pill months ago to be ready to start trying, I know I can't change time and that my bodies going to take a few months to get into a routine but can't help thinking I may not be all working in the ovarie/hormone dept :(

Hey, I would really like some advice if you please could ☺️ , so I’ve not come on my period yet, 3 days late haven’t had any major symptoms of pregnancy only a few headaches and all of sudden pelvic pressure, I don’t want to take a test in case it’s to early to test, any advice would help a lot ☺️😫

Hi just a question I am 5 days late on my period 2 days ago I had a few cramps that made me think it was about to start. However I still have came on and done 3 test throughout the week and they all say negative can anybody give me their input of what I should do I have no kids so have no idea of what I should be expected thank you

9 days late did a pregnancy test this morning and came up with a faint line within 1 minute 🤷🏽‍♀️ I been doing the every so often and this is the darkest it’s been any advice would be much appreciated 😫

Hello everyone, so I am trying for our first baby, my period was due 3 days ago (Thursday) and nothing, I've tested twice but negative.

I've got really bad cramps and my nipples are sore.

Is this signs of pregnancy or period or unknown.
