desperateoldie67 · 23/08/2011 06:40

Struck out this month...anyone care to join me on the June 2012 bus?

OP posts:
Mama5isalive · 31/08/2011 12:30

Do you guys think we should do the list in AF dates?????????

Prunella79 · 31/08/2011 13:08

ok so this EWCM thing, i get it but then again i don't. what state are these egg whites meant to be - there are so many things an egg white can be - are we talking fresh out of the egg, soft boiled, hard boiled or whisked into soft peaks?
maybe this seems obvious to some but my first thought was - slightly undercooked, then began to question Hmm
i need clarity

onlinefriend · 31/08/2011 14:20

Hello thanks for the welcome.
Prunella79- just read this morning "This mucus is called EWCM because it strongly resembles RAW egg white in that it is clear or streaked and is very stretchy and can be watery" on Amazing pregancy.com
Hope it helps

sweetpb · 31/08/2011 15:55

well just got back from specialist and he says I have Pcos, a bit of a shock but at least we know whats going on now, He has prescribed me metformin so I have dropped that form off to the doctors but dont know whether I will have to go in and see them or if they will just call to say they have written a precscription. He also told me I need to lose weight which I expected! so as of tomorrow I'm on the Diet bus!!

Doubt very much it will happen for me on the june bus but I will stay onboard and Hop onto the next if it doesnt work!

I dont know very much about Pcos so off to google!

P x

taytotayto · 31/08/2011 20:11

hi girls can i sneak on. only small so ill stand if needed. im ttc #3 and due to test in 11 days. hope this bus is not too bumpy and can someone get a bfp asap so i can get a seat at the back, my little legs wont like this standing lark for much longer!!!!!!!!

MrsGrumpWantsABump · 31/08/2011 21:55

Mama5isalive, the list would be easier to read if it was arranged in 'due AF' order IMO, do others agree?

Welcome aboard taytotayto! Smile

I'm only 3 dpo-ish and already having imaginary twinges. Ridiculous.

louloubellamozzarella · 31/08/2011 22:09

Yeah go for it mama - work your magic as on the May thread Grin.

No news from me. Boring, sorry. Will be the third week of Sept I reckon before I can test, Yawn. I shall live vicariously through others' BFPs till then. Fingers x-d!

Mama5isalive · 01/09/2011 01:20

welcome Taytotayto- we have plenty of seats no need to stand!
sweetpb- i dont know much about what you have been told but i know a thread is on here somewhere i will search for it and direct you maybe others can help you.
MrsGrump -3dpo- ohhhh how exciting now just relax and think positives!!!!!
Loulou- yeh i will see what i can do with the thread to make it more reader friendly so pls all AF DUE DATES NEEDED so i can do list!
Thanks all!

im confused about my Ov-ing dates now came on early 24th Aug so not sure when i will be on again so will have to convince DH every other night until i say so!( i started a thread about ov-ing)
nite all!

louloubellamozzarella · 01/09/2011 12:33

Ok dokes... well this is my first proper AF in about 10 yrs so mine is estimated on a hopeful 28 day cycle (yeah right...). But let's be optimistic and go with:

Louloubella (27) TTC #1, AF due 25/09/11 looks like an angel; swears like a trooper

Any other info needed? Can't remember what is normally put in these things.

louloubellamozzarella · 01/09/2011 12:35

P.s. Mama - the ov calculator thingy on this site might be useful?? Like me, you might have to estimate make up some dates but it might give you an idea...

ffnorm · 01/09/2011 13:58

Hi all
Please may I join this bus - you all seem right up my street!!

I whimsically joined the May bus knowing that my chances were next to zero.So I have decided to change my name and my attitude and join this bus Grin

I am still waiting for AF post early mc but it must be any day now as mc bleeding ended about 4 weeks ago... and as the rule follower that I am,the Gynae said to wait for next AF before ttc again,I am dutifully waiting (very impatiently!!) As I calculate it if AF arrived today and I conceive this month then due date would be 07/06 but I'm in with a good chance of a June baby as AF could arrive in 2 weeks time and due date would still be June IYSWIM.

I also pleased to see both BFP's on this bus so far are the same age as me which must be a sign!!

Sorry for the waffling 1st post
ffnorm (35) ttc #2,AF is a mystery. Impatient rule follower, conceived DS doggy style

princessesmummy · 01/09/2011 14:09

Havnt posted much due to it being cd 15
princessmummy(25) ttc#2 af due 15 Sept

mrsmellow · 01/09/2011 14:27

Hello
not much happening - had a lovely weekend in nice hotel, kept up the momentum all week, now CD14 and trying to tread a fine line between thinking positive and not getting hopes up.... I have no idea if I ovulated so will continue to have SWI for the next week or so...not such a hardship really!
mrsmellow (33) TTC #1 AF due 18 Sept

welliesandpyjamas · 01/09/2011 14:32

sweetpb - how do you feel today? Did you find any good info? I think the docs surgery should just give you a prescription, don't need to see you again.

princessmummy - good luck with all the Action Wink

ffnorm - hi and welcome! I'm very impressed that you know exactly how you conceived your ds1!! Grin

Now, ladies, be honest with me...am I still actually allowed to be on this bus any more?! My due date is 4th May!

welliesandpyjamas · 01/09/2011 14:33

mrsmellow - the weekend sounds lovely! Fingers crossed :)

ffnorm · 01/09/2011 20:44

Well, wellies it's more a guess based on statistical probability Blush but thanks for the welcome and congratulations!!

DialMforMummy · 01/09/2011 20:52

Sweettb I have a friend who had 2 boys and had pcos. So hand in there!
LOL Wellies my due date is 3rd May! Are we going to be booted out? Wink

jmjam · 01/09/2011 20:52

Hi all, can I join too please?
Newbie boarder here so please be gentle with me. Still trying to get my head round all the jargon so forgive me if I get anything wrong! I am 35 and we are ttc#3 after 2 boys, ages 4 and 2. Just started my period today and on a pretty strict 28 day cycle. Husband in the forces and conceived both boys on his return from detachment, sadly he's not due away again until November!
Any tips on conceiving a girl?!

taytotayto · 01/09/2011 21:33

taytotayto (35) ttc #3 af due september 11/12 (really irregular but been ok last few months).

you would think having had two babies that id know the signs to look for. with first baby i was 6 weeks pregnat and didnt know!!!!!! with second baby i was just like i am now. dying to test test test. taking ever ache and pain as a sign. i swear to god i could convince myself im having twins no less. i spend hours looking for signs. how i get the time i dont know. dh hasnt mentoned the tww. do your partners ever mention it?

welliesandpyjamas · 02/09/2011 09:44

More 35 year olds!!

Jmjam - wecome! I have two boys too and they are the best fun :) Three boys would be even more fun Grin so I'll just have to wait and see... There are threads about tips for conceiving girls but don't know if there is anything which will actually work. Maybe someone else on here will know.

Taytotayto - Welcome! Fwiw, I had tons of symptoms with ds2 but nothing this time and had to do a few tests to get a positive, so each pregnancy is different. DH doesn't mention the 2ww but he does have an air or excitement about him usually, and tries reading meaning in to anything I mention, like being tired or not hungry!

jmjam · 02/09/2011 20:00

Don't get me wrong I love having boys. I love all the mud and the fact that they can't sit still for more than 5 mins. However im thinking more about the future and how, when/if it comes to grandchildren, I will always be the mother in law. Maybe this is just something I'll have to get over, can't go on forever I suppose! Thinking I should be copying and pasting, so here goes!
