Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
munkiii · 17/08/2011 21:24

Novemberish with any luck but there are issues with ovulation and cycles and so on so have started the ball rolling with the clinic. Am convinced it aint going to be easy.... certainly wasn't the first time Grin.

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 21:25

ok, the test is a plastic rectangle with a hole in it where you pipette in your positive pee sample and wait for your lines... I think. Whats wrong with a good dunk in a ramekin, i don't know... I am seriously nervous now. Will we make a double confirmation, or have a one out of three succes rate of our cycle buddy trio??!!??

Hi munkiii, but of course we shall, and the instant you join thi thred you will also get your BFP!! How old's number 1?

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 21:26

doh. this thread.

note to self, read before posting, regardless of time and potential husband-wrath

munkiii · 17/08/2011 21:28

Number 1 is 8 months old and a little darling she is too.

She will be almost one when we are TTC. Have managed to negotiate a starting date with DH, took 16 months to get pg only to have a mc then get pg without af straight away.

Sorry promised I would go away but it appears I have stayed!

munkiii · 17/08/2011 21:30

And how many abbreviations can I put in one sentence?!?

Good luck tomorrow Dream!

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 21:32

why go munkiii? settle in, enjoy the baked goodies, after all, you've not got that long before your BFP in November Grin

Positive stories:
My friend's sister had twins via IVF after a long hard slog to conceive and keep them then got naturally pg after 3 months!!!! And one of DH's colleagues spent 2 years TTC no.1 then had no.2 with no problem and an 18month gap when they'd kind of hoped for longer between them but thought they'd better start trying... You never know Grin

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 21:33

i'm bricking it munkiii.

I mean, I am Brooking No Argument, it is going to be positive

what do we want? POSITIVE PEE STICKS
when do we want them? NOW!!

jaggythistle · 17/08/2011 21:35

having the predicted pish week at work, so no internet time at all and no energy! also only got DS to bed just after 8.30, we normally aim for between 7 and half past before the overtired madness starts. Blush he's settled ok though.

aye I'm from quite far up north dream, even for Scotland. :) good luck when you have your ramekin in action. not that you need it being so obviously glowing and pg!

so...

congrats on the bfp scarlet, got me smiling too!

and yay for biscuit crumb biscuits!

my accidental internet cheapies arrived today. it would be rude not to use some soon, there are 25 and one of them has got to be a right one surely?

it will depend on what my temp does over the next few days i think.

BROOK NO ARGUMENT, LADIES AND PEE STICKS! JUST FERTILISE. (and eat cakes)

maybebabyR · 17/08/2011 21:38

You will be fine Dream in fact, better then fine. Brooking is the new bricking after all.

NinjaChipmunk · 17/08/2011 21:39

I've got terrible burps this evening. Do you think that's a symptom? it is day 16 of my cycle after all.

munkiii · 17/08/2011 21:41

Wow thank you for making me feel so welcome! Thought I had better say hello as I was feeling like a right old lurker and I do love the positivity/realism of this thread.

As I say (though thanks for the stories Dream) I am not expecting an easy ride TTC so preparing myself.

Am very broody though, despite having such a tiny DD!

maybebabyR · 17/08/2011 21:42

Oh, I think so Ninja Day 16 of cycle is day 16 of pregnancy after all Smile

CakePigeon · 17/08/2011 21:45

hi fellow newbe, dream is right, put up your feet and stay a while :)

maybe I bet your DH is loving the attention, mine longs for the day that mine goes up...

when would AF be due for you jaggy? if you weren't pregnant, that is!

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 21:58

oh yes jaggy, you are the most scientific and informed (still in awe of the cervix-furtling) and therefore clearly Blindingly Obviously Preggers. It would be most insulting to the good amazon deliverers if you didn't put one to use asap Grin

doesn't it make the evening seem short when DC goes to bed late?!

And jaggy, i know this is The Wrong Thread but i've fed DD in the night every night for the last 3- Boo!!!!!

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 22:00

yeah, maybe, i reckon he's feigning reluctance, i bet he's LOVING the super high sex drive!

jaggythistle · 17/08/2011 22:03

well, I'm 8dpo and i usually only make it to 12 or 13 so in 5 or 6 days.

i got a negative at 9dpo with DS and the bfp at 11dpo, this hasn't stopped me testing early some months this time round though. :)

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 22:07

jaggy test in 2 days!!!! or 3 for a definite!!!

CakePigeon · 17/08/2011 22:09

Exciting times, 5 days to find an agreeable pee stick should be plenty! I think the earliest I could realistically test would be Sunday.. I am undecided about early testing so far!

dream hope to hear your BFP news in the morning :) good luck

jaggythistle · 17/08/2011 22:12

hi :)

dream i thought DS had stopped altogether for a bit as he didn't feed at all yesterday. (and maybe the day before, baby brain affecting memory) but he's had 2 little goes today and actually stayed latched on long enough to get a wee bit of milk i think. as long as he's happy i guess it's better to wind it down gently. :)

dreamfeeder · 17/08/2011 22:35

Yes, we need a realistic test cake, no false negatives please Smile We shall await your BFP on Sunday

jaggy, I'm sure you're right and it's got to be the best way to wind up, to let them decide when they're ready. Although i'm not sure DD would put up much fuss... You've done brilliantly- isn't he 23 months? Will look forward to your BFP in a few days

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 06:23

yeah dream, officially 23 months next week. he is suddenly huge as well. i still consider him the cutest thing ever even though he seems awfy tall. Grin he also never stops chatting a bit like his mum--.

i did consider a practice test today, I'm going to be realistic too though, Friday or Saturday at earliest. then i will brook no argument from my cheapies at all!

Imps7 · 18/08/2011 07:03

Hurrah - guess who had a shag last night? Yes, that's right - me! So assuming that all goes according to Ov plan I am in the running this month after all!

Now, swimmer and egg - look out for each other, get together and JUST FERTILISE!

Dream are you deffo testing this morning? Good luck - choose your pee stick carefully. Have everything crossed for you! Then it's you Jaggy, then you Cake, then you Scream (although not necessarily in that order). Come on BFPs we need LOAFS on this thread!

Hello Munkiii welcome! When are you thinking of starting TTC? Cos arguably by adding to this thread you are technically already pregnant but I'm sure we can delay it if you're not ready just yet.

Imps7 · 18/08/2011 07:06

LOADS, not LOAFS!

jaggythistle · 18/08/2011 07:06

Go imps's DH's swimmers!!

I can do a nice banana loaf Wink

Imps7 · 18/08/2011 07:10

Sorry Munkiii - I didn't read up far enough - I see November is your chosen BFP date.

Anyone for a nice bacon bap this morning? Or a veggie alternative for any non-meat eaters?
