Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

Hi am, Harryan, crystaltea and Mersea - great to have you all on board.

Hope everyone is well and safe in the craziness that's going on right now. I'm just hanging around waiting until the weekend to start dtd. I have warned dh that we're going to have to take it up a notch or two this month but I don't think he quite believes me.

We're also under added pressure as next weekend (when I think I will be OV) we'll be camping with not only ds in the tent with us but a load of friends in tents next to us so dtd will be pretty much impossible so I need to get plenty of credit in the sperm-bank before we go

Bleats - loving the positivity! I'm feeling really upbeat today too and I truly believe that positive thoughts can only help bring us positive tests!

Well I've woken up and....Still feeling rubbish! 4 days of it now, Nausea and pelvic cramping!
I can't drink any tea or coffee :( and having to eat really non smelly foods lol.

I'm beginning to think it isn't a tummy bug after all....I know it could be wishful thinking but....

How soon can I test though? Not due AF till 25th!!! I'm gonna get mega impatient lol.

We were supposed to be starting the intensive shagging tonight but DP has to go on the piss to a work function. So tomorrow it is!

Harryan very similar position to you and experiencing symptoms, although I'm wondering if it is just my mind playing tricks on me. I'm bloated, tired and feel grim. I've also been really grumpy. DH would probably say same old, same old!

I would like to sit on the bus please? It is not an ideal time for me to have a baby but I know I want another child and life is too short to keep putting things off.

I've found that early SWI is what works for me; DS was conceived on CD8. This time, I didn't plan anything, but a bit of SWOI became SWI (twice ) on CD11, so I'm going to wait and see...

I have a question. If we are testing for ovulation and know when that will be, is there any benefit to dtd every other day for the whole month? Apart from the pleasure of it of course!

DH is recovered from illness so will start dtd tonight, even though OV is not due for another week or so!

I am in effing agony with cramps. I sometimes get ov pain, but not like this - plus I'm CD17, and usually ov earlier. It HURTS. I am laid, prostrate, being a big wuss. I am obviously hoping it is the mother of all implantation pains. Knowing my luck, it's probably hideous ov pain and I'm missing my chance (no DH until tomorrow). If it is neither of these, then something is most definitely up with me. It is that bad I'm having to go to the loo every ten minutes. Freaky. Perhaps it is psychosomatic and I have made my body do weird (and painful) stuff just through searching hard for the sniff of a symptom.

Time will tell.

I hate 2ww.

kinky poor you. Do take care and get yourself to a doc if it doesn't go away. Might be something gut related rather than ov related. (though obviously I hope for you it's implantation pain!)

Ohhhh can I join?? Hubby and I have been ttc %231 for nearly 10 months I have pcos and have just (July 19th) had laparoscopic ovarian drilling. My first AF naturally came on the 4th (very exciting as my body MAY be doing what it's meant to. I am now cd 9 and gearing up for SWI this week ready for ov.... Hopefully i will ovulate this month. (never ovulated even with 6x Clomid) quite exciting if i do, there might even be the possibility of being preg at the end if it. Based on a 28 day cycle (not likely but anyway) I will be due AF at the beginning of sept (hopefully not tho)

Thanks minipie and 180. It is killing me! My mum has made me a hot water bottle (I'm staying with her). I think the last time she did that I was 14! It hurts lots still. It's like bad AF cramps. I have IBS, so I don't think it's bowel. I'm also hopeful it would be a bit soon for ectopic. I've just read that implantation takes place 6-7 days after conception, so it could be that. Or it could just be my womb toying with me. I hope it settles down.

Kinky something else that I've had since having #2 is really bad AF pains if I'm at all constipated. but for some reason since the birth, being constipated has resulted in bad AF pains as if it's pushing on my womb. It's really odd and god knows what they did to me but could it be related? Constipation is also a sign of pregnancy of course .

Hi kinky I had major pains early on in my pregnancy with dd1 (although didn't know at time that I was pregnant ) have no idea what it was but I spent a good few days on the sofa with a hot water bottle too and my baby was perfectly fine so try not to worry.
Shame af arrived 180 fingers crossed for this month....

DP and i have just dtd so let the every other day battle commence for this month!

I am having a beer and a few fags tonight but as of tomo i'm back on the wagon! feeling quite pissed positive for once so i'm just going with it!

I think I'm paranoid because I've had 2 c-sections, so I'm worried that everything will be okay in there.

I had implantation pain with DS and it was little stabbing pains. This is full on period pain. I'm not constipated as it is making me go to the loo (sorry, TMI ). When I get my AF I normally get IBS flare up too, so it's all very similar. I'm not due AF for another 12 days. Gah. I'm still laid out with water bottle.

I am sorry about AF 180. I hope it passes quickly and painlessly, to make way for much SWI .

kinky sounds horrid. fwiw I had a c-section first time round and remember a sort of sharp pain that felt like cuts after c-sec, v diff to AF pain. I've also had a vbac 20 months later and no worries so please try not to worry about CS. Bodies are amazing . thanks, am looking forward to swi as ov falls right in the middle of our holiday week , couldn't have planned it better myself .

180 Holiday AND lots of SWI - lucky thing! Plus, isn't it actually proven that more women fall pg whilst on holiday? Being more relaxed and all that.
