New bus boarding for April 2012

Since I've this morning fallen off the March bus, I've chartered and boarded April 2012s bus.

So to start

Colleen yes I think I will do - bit too early yet as AF only started last Thurs, but will do next week. But I won't be timing SWI quite so slavishly according to the ov sticks just in case they are wrong!

Sounds like a plan minipie I am mainly using them to figure out how my ov cycle is going. Wish you the best this next month.

Thanks Colleen, you too! I was using them for the same reason - my cycle's pretty odd at the moment due to coming off the pill a few months ago. They provide a bit of reassurance if nothing else!

Hi all, just got booted off the March bus so can I board this one?

AF has literally just turned up so it'll be a long trip but I thought rather than hanging round the terminus drinking White Lightning and causing trouble I'd get my seat nice and warm and cheer on the rest of you.

Thanks for the info on the ov sticks minipie - I've been using them as the only guide for the last few cycles but also startign FF this month. When you get the line on the ov sticks does that mean you are ovulating, just about to or have ovulated do you know?

To answer your opk question - it means you will ovulate on the next 24-36 hrs. I used ov sticks successfully when ttc ds but have found them a right faff last month (just couldn't seem to guage whether the line was as dark or darker than the control) so have blown the budget and bought digital clearblue ones on offer on Amazon as you can pee steaight on them and they give you a smiley face if you are about to ov!

twobecomethree my cheapy OV sticks don't tell you that, but I read on a Clearblue ov test box that ovulation usually happens "within 24 to 36 hours" after a positive result. At least I think that's what it said! Basically it means you're about to ovulate.

I am taking full advantage of the wine and coffee before I'm into my fertile window!

evening ladies how are you all doing? I was supposed to go to karate tonight but after an awful day at work i thought i would just crack open some and chill with you lovely ladies. also my old laptop 'died' a month ago and my lovely DH went and got me a new one :) this afternoon i have been feeling 'weird' just feel very heavy in my lower tummy and shattered hopefully this is a sign that something is happening either pregnant or AF just need something to happen so i dont go out of my mind lol will get some SWI in tonight just in case its ovulation lol need to cover all bases xx

I've not ever tries ov sticks but I have to say I'm starting to get tempted. I get a lot of EWCM and have always assumed that it's a good enough indicator but I'm starting to loose faith in my sticky stuff... maybe my timing is all out?

Have very dull achey back tonight and am knicker checking like a mad-woman. Feel very, very pathetic. Trying to hide my patheticness from hubby! I'm glad I can be open about it at least on here.

I know what you mean marthamay - my dh already thinks I'm mad just based on the few thoughts I have shared with him. If he actually knew all the stuff that goes through my head he'd probably have me committed - luckily what happens on the bus, stays on the bus ...

I sooo know what you mean, ive been feeling werid over the past few days but beening putting off testing in case its neg, really tring to wait a week or two. Unless of cause im really wrong and AF comes and grabs me!

Its really hard not knowing your cycle (first month since having the coil out) and i thought i would of got a af by now.

God here i god over thnking it. Lol

Can I join as I need a place to secretly obsess about TTC! I added m details at bottom of list, is that hte right thing to do? glad to see there are some mor ttc#3 on here as family make me feel i shouldn't be obsessing about #3 when I already have 2 :)

I've still got hurting eyes for crying when AF arrived this morning, but I'm chilling in front of a rom com and enjoying a beer for first time in 2 weeks, so not all bad. I'm going to try and look after myself more this month and see if that works, as think to run down to conceive last month.

Sarahbumbarer and Porcupine I'm so sorry you're off . Porcupine, your AF came very early!? I hope you enjoyed your beer and feel hopeful for next month. Sarah, I hope you feel better and recovered soon enough to get in lots of SWI for next month.

Lauraloo welcome - have you worked out where you are yet???

muckyhighchair it is so, so frustrating when your cycles are not regular. THe last six months have been a total rollercoaster for me with BF ds and the the miscarriage. Half the time I have no idea if AF is going to show whether I'm preg or not. I just hope it doesn't come for you and you get the BFP or it comes so you know where you stand!

As for me - now on 11DPO, still no sign of AF which is making me wonder what all those crampy achey feelings were about a few days ago. THey really felt like the kind of pain you get during your period rather than just before.
Who knows....

I'm trying to work out when to test. 12 DPO - 14DPO or maybe even later. What do you all reckon?

martha I still haven't worked out dates my last period was end of March just after I stopped the pill hate not knowing :(

Well I didn't sleep well at all my DD who's 2 has been having nightmares so beem up with het. also been having cramps all night and still have it feelong af is about to start. I took a test this morning and bfn although I can see something when I squint at it bit poss an evaporation line has anyone got ecperirnce of eBay cheap tests do they show evaporation lines? Won't get swi in tonight going to see harry potter at midnight lol. Sorry for the long post :)

ooooooo lauraloo even a squinty line is quite exciting!
I have no experience of ebay cheapies, but it's certainly better than a BFN!
I'm still to chicken to test because I can't bear the disappointment of the inevitable BFN.
Nipples are still very, very sore when BF. I remember this from last pregnancy - but it also happens randomly so not neccessarily a symptom of anything....
