Since I've this morning fallen off the March bus, I've chartered and boarded April 2012s bus.

So to start

Sukie1971 (40) ttc#2 AF due 24th July (ish)

lauraloo thanks -- been crampy for 2 days now and have a dodgy tummy (sorry, tmi!) which is a pre-AF symptom for me, so I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up!!

truffle CONGARATS! You must be over the moon, what a nice start to the morning =_=

lauraloo09 · 16/08/2011 09:35

oh congrats truffle what a way to start such a crappy tuesday morning so happy for you!

sno never say never until AF shows up :)

bartlet you tested yet??

Well went to the doctors yesterday to be told that it was possible that the tests I had taken over the weekend were from a faulty batch and the test she done was negative so i was absolutely gutted last night. The GP is referring me to gyne department to try and find out why AF hasnt been since march so in a way i am happy that something is going to get done. I was away for more blood tests this morning just to double make sure i am not pregnant results due back on friday. I feel awful this morning cramping sick and just really ill so im putting this down to flu and possible AF coming (hopefully) never thought i'd be happy to see AF just need to know what is going on! I will keep you up to date with whats happening and i so wish i was joining the BFPers on the ante-natel threads but alas its not for me this month :( xx

MichaelaS · 16/08/2011 10:30

congrats truffle what good news!

good luck sno and bartlet, hope the tests give the right answer (we all know what that is!)

lauraloo oh no! but it sounds like a dodgy excuse from the gp.... maybe there is hope after all? at least you're getting further tests which should either show you are pg after all, or explain why no AF. let us know what happens!

Sn0wGoose · 16/08/2011 11:01

Trying really hard not to run downstairs and pee on a stick just to put my mind at rest either way - but it would be a criminal waste of £7, considering it's lunchtime and 2 days til AF due!! Hold me back ladies, tie me down!!

lauraloo I really hope they work out what's up soon, that's really pants At least you've been referred, which is a step in the right direction.

BartletForAmerica · 16/08/2011 11:56

It's not over until the fat (red?) lady sings so will hope for good results for the rest of us still here.

laura, sorry that the test was negative again. Try to see this next step (of being referred) as a positive thing you can do in the quest. Hopefully they can find a cause and do something about it. You'd mentioned elsewhere that your prolactin was up? If so, she needs to refer you to an endocrinologist. This sort of stuff is our bread and butter.

Still nothing here except the BFNs from last night and this morning. I have noticed though that I have lots of CM. Not normally like this when AF due. Please, please, please let this be a sign. Obviously, I am staying very calm about this.

Sn0wGoose · 16/08/2011 12:24

Crossing my fingers, toes & eyes for you bartlett!

MeconiumHappens · 16/08/2011 21:43

af is late! normally ov around cd20, have spotting on cd 28,29 then af cd30/31. Am cd 32 today and nothing, except maybe a tiny pinkness on wiping yesterday once. BUT preg test negative today. pfft. Have had this once before, no af but neg test and af rocked up on cd 38 finally. frustrating :(

MichaelaS · 16/08/2011 23:13

sorry to hear you got a BFN Meconium, I had the same thing the month before I conceived DS so maybe next month it can be your lucky one.

well, I am a day overdue for AF and have been using dodgy internet tests for a few days which were showing just the smallest hint of a second line if you really squinted at it. So, today I bought a pair of first response tests, did one this evening and.... BFP!!! Oh my word! :)

good luck everyone else!

Sn0wGoose · 17/08/2011 09:16

Congratulations Michaela!!!

I caved, got a BFN ? though technically I'm not due til tomorrow/Friday, it's not looking good for an April baby!

On the bright side, something has finally clicked with DH who has finally found his babymaking mojo (previously he was batting around comments like "if we're really serious about having a baby", despite SWI for the past 5 months Hmm)

BartletForAmerica · 17/08/2011 09:42

Meconium, sorry about the BFN. It is discouraging, isn't it. I'd rather AF came and we could then get back on with things rather than being late and getting BFNs.

Michaela, great news! Congratulations!

Sn0w, glad DH is more on board! Hope that is timed nicely with a BFP in a day or two.

Here, did another test this am as AF is now definitely rather late - BFN. A few hours later, a very excited DH came down and pointed out a very faint line. I've tried to explain it might be an evaporation line, but if AF is still not here tomorrow, we'll POAS again...

FannyAnnPam · 17/08/2011 10:19

Hi I wondered if I could board the April bus?

Had a BFP yesterday but not sure yet if it is a keeper.

I have a scan booked tomorrow at local EPU as I'm having bad pains down my left hand side (amongst other symptoms) so worried about ectopic. To add to that they think my gall bladder is on the cock :(

Fingers crossed for tomorrow...

BartletForAmerica · 17/08/2011 10:24

Welcome and congratulations, Fanny. Hope this is a sticky one.

Just after writing my last post, AF arrived so I'll be getting off the bus. Sad Looks like I got my wish of AF arriving rather than the not knowing.

Hope to not see many of you on the May bus. Good luck for everyone else waiting.

Sn0wGoose · 17/08/2011 11:51

Aww, I'm sorry bartlet - at least you know now, and get SWI for next month! :)

FannyAnnPam · 17/08/2011 12:15

Thanks Bartlet, it feels a bit of a 'hello' and 'goodbye'... I hope it all works out for you and you will be catching the bus behind me (assuming this one does stick).

May is a great time for a baby though, so fingers crossed you get lucky!

Sn0wGoose · 17/08/2011 13:43

Absolutely. Who actually wants an April baby anyway? I mean, you'd potentially have to start the post-baby diet and would miss the opportunity to nom all those easter eggs guilt free!

lauraloo09 · 17/08/2011 20:06

oh bartlet :( for you fingers crossed next month is your month.

Well I was so excited this morning as when I went to the loo and wiped there was fresh bright red/pinkish blood so I assumed AF had came and I was happy as I can now track my cycle. I put a tampon in and when I took it out sometime ago there was nothing on it and since then no blood or anything so now after being happy at AF arriving i'm so confused as it has now gone. what could this be? why oh why cant my body just be normal for once!!

MeconiumHappens · 17/08/2011 22:37

still nothing over here.....waiting impatiently

Sn0wGoose · 18/08/2011 09:40

Wow, this bus sure is looking empty!

Waiting for AF here; due today/tomorrow. BFN yest. In my head I know I'm not upduffed, and yet I can't tell you how anxiously I'm awaiting AF :(

Sn0wGoose · 18/08/2011 09:42

lauraloo I've heard that implantation can cause spotting which can sometimes be mistaken for early AF signs. Have you tested? :)

I've been cramping like nobody's business for the past 4 days, but not my usual AF dull-ache, more like someone's stabbing my uterus with a knitting needle >(

randommummy · 18/08/2011 13:09

Have fallen catastrophically off the April bus 6 days earlier than planned. Very Sad. I am visiting the DR tomorrow as i am worried about why, after 3 relatively easy conceptions the last member of my family is being so ellusive. Also worried about why aunt flo has stopped coming for her regular appointments and is turning up when she feels like it willy nilly. Am wondering if my body is out of balance still after having number 3 and wondering about homeopathy. Any thoughts? Maybe I have just gone past it at 38. xx

MichaelaS · 18/08/2011 14:16

sn0wgoose and meconium its not over yet! and symptoms sound v promising snowgoose!

randommummy sorry to hear you're off the bus. Definitely get checked out, you never know what they can do to help even if its only reassurance that the plumbing is in working order. how old is number 3 now? personally i'm not a fan of homeopathy but each to their own - its usually more important you believe something works than what that thing is, so go with whatever you think would make you feel cared for, treated, fixed and loved.

Sn0wGoose · 18/08/2011 16:13

I hope so michaela! AF due today/tomorrow... holding my breath (I look like this -> Blush ha ha)

MeconiumHappens · 18/08/2011 18:05

Still nothing over here. The pinky browny spotting i had yesterday and day before has disappeared too. Am prob just clutching at straws but last time i had an odd long cycle i had no spotting til cd 36. Doing daily cheapie tests, all bfn. harrumphh

Imustbecrazy26 · 18/08/2011 18:10

still no af on cd46 and all bfn!!!!!

randommummy · 18/08/2011 20:19

thanks MichaelaS. Number 3 is just 13 mths and we decided on 1 more to make it even and still no joy. Would like to complte my family by the time i am 40 and then just enjoy, but as we all know however hard we try it can't be controlled so easily. Off i go to the May bus!
