MissTinaTeaspoon · 07/06/2011 09:08

Definate cd 1 here...and it's an ouchy one! :(

CollieandPup · 07/06/2011 10:01

aghh she is a proper arse!!! You really would think after all you've been through she'd have some smypathy and try to support you, not make life shittier (is that a word?) for you! But glad in a way you've made that choice. I'm sure it feels like a kick in the teeth, but you've had a lot on your plate this past year and the last thing you want when you get your bfp, is the added worry of work. Really nice to read you so cheery about jumping on the ttc wagon again, let's hope you're not on it long though!

Grin @ knitters husband grabbing- how's that going? I think 3 swi a night is really ambitious so wouldn't beat yourself up for not doing. We just about managed one swi a night, with the odd 2, but sometimes every other day towards the end. Fx

digi any sign of ov yet?

really sorry to see you both on here but understand you need to move off the ttc after mc thread. It's funny how it's been quite quiet for a month or so and then all of a sudden has lots of newbies.

Tina totally gutted that AF has arrived for you this month! Sad

mummya nice to hear from you again although very sorry to hear things are obviously still hard for you. Have you managed to reconnect with old friends over there? I hope you have dome support in RL.

Izzy how are you sweet? Hope you're not stressing too much about tomorrows scan. Really looking foward to good news from you.

battery how are you? 10 wks is very early for Doppler. Think I picked it up at 13 wk which I think is early. Sorry your oh won't be here for the 12 wk scan. We'll be here to hold your hand though.

digitalgirl · 07/06/2011 12:00

mouse arse about loss of money - but it's definitely good to lessen your responsibilities sometimes.

And on the other end of the spectrum my very lovely very sympathetic boss has just quit. I should really go for his job or it'll be obvious how lazy and unambitious I am right now (have done his job for rival company so I have relevant experience). Having a chat on Thursday with boss' boss to see if I'm even in the running. Don't particularly want to work 5 days a week but wouldn't mind if I knew I was going on maternity leave in the next 12 months.

But anyway, this morning I got a very, very strong positive opk Grin. Puts all previous positive opks to shame. I think this might actually be it ladies. Think combination of acupuncture and reiki has cheered on the egg. Fingers crossed for a temp rise in the next couple of days.

digitalgirl · 07/06/2011 12:04

And sorry teaspoon that you're having an ouch af - that is particularly rubbish.

stitchinline · 07/06/2011 13:52

Peers around the door and gives a little wave

I hope you don't mind but I think I'm going to follow tina and falcon over here, I?ve also moved on a bit from my MC and finding the new stories a bit difficult, so sad but I am trying to not obsess over what might have been but more on getting another BFP

Got a :) on the digi OPK this morning so it's all systems go with at our place for the rest of the week! Have been chugging the grapefruit juice so should be plenty of EWCM to help the little swimmers on their way Wink. DH is also getting into it this month, I explained the SMEG to him and he?s been telling me off for trying to jump him more than every other day Blush

sorry for the arrival of AF tina

MissTinaTeaspoon · 07/06/2011 14:56

Have fun then digital and stitch!

stitch it's lovely to see you. I moved on for the same reasons, I don't go on the mc board either anymore, I want to move forward and concentrate on dd and hopefully make another baby!

Waves to collie x

TheFalconsmistress · 07/06/2011 19:19

Sorry Tina about the sore AF

stitch good to see you I also moved for the same reasons i hope i can relax and it will happen over here!

I got real tired on the SMEG plan and DH got fed up good if it works though :)

batteryhen · 07/06/2011 20:10

Hello everyone :) Sorry not to do a name checkpost but just to let you know I am reading and lurking, but am just too tired to do much posting. however I do feel more awake tonight :)

I am just waiting for my 12 week scan to come through. talking of scans - did I miss izzzyzs scan news?? Or I am I blind??

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 07/06/2011 21:32

battery it's on Thursday, 10.20. I am trying to ignore it as the mentalling mounts...

mouse your boss is an arse, and I'm sorry you've had to take a break from the management and extra pay. But given the way she's been behaving maybe taking a step back from all that stress will be a good thing...you can take a which to chill out and have some successful ttc-ing without all the worry and stress from that part of work, then go back to it afresh when you're ready (or she's left!)

Welcome to the "newbies" and good luck to all those currently sperm-snatching. digi - yay for the +opk!!

Blackkat · 07/06/2011 21:51

mouse just seen your post about the decision you took at work yesterday. Relieved for you that you have come to that decision, but still angry on your behalf that you feel like you've had no option but to do that. Pleased that you are able to take a sabbatical from the duties and it's not a permanent arrangement.

It might be worthwhile just summarising all that has happened in a timeline, and hanging onto any formal communication you have about the whole situation, just in case evil boss continues in this vein. I really hope she doesn't and you aren't at work for all the right reasons next year Grin

digi so pleased you got a good OPK result Grin

to everyone else

mousebacon · 07/06/2011 23:23

Thank you for all the supportive messages Smile I really hope reducing my stress levels will aide the ttc malarky and not being SLT will mean I can leave earlier, work less at home etc etc so that will be nice (and the first time I've 'just' been a teacher for years and years).

BlackKat good to see you - hope all is well with you and yours. How's your dad getting on? I hope he's doing well.

Digi hurrah for the OPK - I know how pleasing it is to see a clearly positive one being a fellow long/irregular cycle person.

Izzy good luck with the scan Smile

Has anyone seen bbb or jolls around lately?

Waves to collie mummya battery tina stitch falcon velvet freezing wiggle and all Smile

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 08:00

Good morning everyone! I'm in a good mood through the period cramps, after working 50 hours in 5 1/2 days I'm off for 2 weeks! Looking forward to going on holiday on Friday, although the weather forecast isn't looking good there's a lovely pool with a spa. Dds got her mmr to get through today, we're spending the morning in soft play to make up for it.

mouse it's awful that you've been forced to drop sone responsibilities but as the others have said at least you can chill out a bit more and hopefully get pg!

Good luck tomorrow izzy

Did you have good evenings knitter stitch and digi ? Wink

I hope your scan date comes soon battery

Waves to falcon blackkat and everyone else x

YouremindmeoftheBFP · 08/06/2011 08:52

Hello all.

izzy Good luck for tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you. Glad to hear you had a nice holiday.

Welcome all the new-to-here-bies. Glad to see you all over here, but sorry you've had to come.

battery are you still waiting for your scan date? I've got my date through for the 22nd, I should be 11+6. Two weeks today, and as it'll be my first scan I'm shitting myself it'll all turn out like last time. Still, not much I can do now, might as well wait for it. Am reassuringly ( I think/ I hope) sick, dizzy and tired.

digi yey for the positive opk. Hope that you get your temp raise today or tomorrow.

mouse glad to hear things with the boss are sorted, in a manner of speaking. It probably can't hurt to have a stress free few months, but it's still a bit shit you've had to make that decision under duress. Get relaxing!

tina have a lovely holiday! Where you off to, sorry if I've missed that.

Hope the diffeds are well, did you decide whether to do that Nk thing wiggle?

Waves to all, hope you're all well. Off to do some work now.

Loup23 · 08/06/2011 10:00

HI all thanks for the link tina just marking my place and will then catch up - I too have been on the "just mc" thread for too long and now feel I need to move and concentrate on ttc again! Am on 1dpo today and really not looking forward to the dreaded 2ww.

Hope there's some BFPs for us all soon x

stitchinline · 08/06/2011 12:25

Thanks for the lovely welcomes.

I had a great evening thanks Tina, made cupcakes for a friend at works birthday and then lots of fun with dh :o, although making cupcakes meant dinner was cake batter, buttercream icing and salad!

Went to GP last night just for a bit of a chat and also to see what was the next steps for me if not successful this month as would be a year of trying by then. I seem to see my consultants at the hospital pretty regularly so don't usually bother with the GP so thought I better catch her up on the mc's. Was worthwhile as she is going to refer me to gynae to look at my endo so at least taht train is in motion.

good luck for your scan tomorrow izzy

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 12:33

yrmotb we're going to bluestone in Pembrokeshire, it's a bit like centerparcs but smaller and quieter.

Good luck with your 2ww, I hope it ends in a bfp loop

I'm considering a trip to the gp tomorrow stitch but I think they'll just tell me to be patient so I'm not sure whether or not to bother and just have a lie in instead whilst dds at nursery.

brokenbarrenbrook · 08/06/2011 13:01

Hello all, apologies for lack of posting (again) I am a proper slackarse at the moment but am starting to feel a little more normal thank goodness.

First things first, welcome to all the new joiners to this thread, know exactly how you feel about having hung around for too long. We've been pretty lucky recently, long may it continue.

YRMOTBFP I see you got your date through. I've got mine on 13th. Eek. Am 12 wks exactly today (hopefully) but having not had any scan since 9 weeks at St Mary's, and with the pukiness and food pickiness subsiding I'm now having a minor wobble that it's all going to go wrong and we won't find out til the scan. Ridiculous I know. No reason at all to think that!

freezing hope you are having a lovely holiday. How are you doing?

mouse glad to see things are slowly sorting themselves out at work, but it's a shitter that your boss is still being a complete toss pot! Grr!

mummya how are you doing? Hope you've managed to get hold of some of your old friends and have rekindled the friendships.

Izzy lots of luck for tomorrow, I have everything crossed that all will be well. There's NO reason for it not to be, so try and remember that. Will be thinking of you.

battery hoping your scan date comes through soon. Tiredness etc is all good, even though it sucks!

wiggle hmm, what an arse of a decision. Is there someone you could get a second opinion from? I think it's a bit naughty that they are almost guilting you into having more tests. Will the extra cash hurt the finances a bit or is it something you can stick on the credit card and swallow (along with the other 3k Confused ). Peace of mind goes a long way in our situations so I know it must be a tough one.

Big waves to everyone else, jolls, knitter, digi, bee, zam, collie, A&R, tigger, owl & velvet (sorry if I've missed anybody)

TheFalconsmistress · 08/06/2011 19:37

Evening ladies

Hope all ttc's and bump's are doing well

Hi loup nice to see you over here hope its lucky for us!

I am having an awful time of things I am having to move and rehome my dogs after a big argument that sealed the deal on me and my parents (i live in their house:( ) so ttc has took a back seat.

Question: Why does everything happen at once??

TheFalconsmistress · 08/06/2011 19:38

They dont live in the house but they own it (just read back and it looked odd)

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 20:36

falcon you really don't deserve that extra stress. Have you found somewhere else to go? Will you be getting your dogs back? I'm Sad for you. Do your parents know about the cp? I really hope that things get better for you x

I'm enjoying a glass of red Wine whilst getting to grips with the new mn iPhone app...can't believe how excited I was to discover it!

CollieandPup · 08/06/2011 21:54

Oohh mn iPhone app!!! I'm excited too!!!

olis I'm so sorry Hun, that sounds awful and really stressful. Is there no way of smoothing things over? I'm Sad for you too, you've had enough going on as it is.

izzy good luck tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you.

bbb glad to hear all is well with you.

loup good luck for the 2ww

yrmotb how are you?

Velvetcu · 08/06/2011 22:40
