Hello anyone here. I need to dust some cobwebs away.

FG I hope you are giving yourself time to recover and be looked after.

UmBongo · 02/03/2012 17:59

I've got cobwebs Lou, you can have some of mine. I can't move fast enough to dust them. I am 33 weeks today and got so little sleep last night Aaaaargh. Between waking myself up and dh coughing I think I was awake about 6 times in 7 hours. At least when the baby arrives I will have a more credible reason for no sleep.

Been to Boots today for night nurse stuff. If that doesn't knock dh out then a swift clatter round the back of the head with a pan might Hmm

Hugs to FairyG, I hope you are doing ok and are taking good care of yourself.

HalleLouja · 02/03/2012 20:16

I think a saucepan may be your only solution fivealive.

Not long now. I am getting broody but don't want to go through this baby stage again. So no more.

UmBongo · 03/03/2012 15:46

Lou - you had your mum there!!! (Just been reading the mum present in labour thread!) I have no intention of having my mum anywhere near me! I fact we told no-one I was in labour last time and will only tell MIL this time as she or FIL will need to come over to look after ds. My mum will only be told when all is finished! Must remember to swear mil to secrecy and hope my mum doesn't ring while we are out!

Mum is a world class panicker (i know that is not a word but that is what she does!) And I really don't think she would help.

HalleLouja · 03/03/2012 20:47

My mum is fab in a crisis. Rubbish day to day with mini stresses but fab in a crisis. She told me babies bounce when DS was born but she was as scared as me.

DS has a new game. Its called carry the baby. Apparently he wants to be a big boy like daddy....

UmBongo · 04/03/2012 19:22

Yikes! I am not looking forward to my very accident prone ds (who can fall over his own legs in a large open space) attempting to pick up the baby! I hope it is a head holder like ds was and then it will be a little more robust (and then it won't mind when I forget to hold its head cos I never had to remember with its big brother!)

UmBongo · 09/03/2012 18:21

Been to midwife yesterday, and was a very brave girl as I let the student take my blood! The mw was sat right next to me saying yes, just there, yes at that angle etc! Well everyone has to start somewhere and I am used to having all sorts of nurses and blood donor people stick pins in me! And the needle the blood lot use is huge compared with the blood test needle!

Hope you are doing ok FairyG and are looking after yourself.

Wotcha everyone else!

Fairygodmother1 · 11/03/2012 18:55

Hi ya,

Am back! Back to the park & back TTC!!!! Did you miss me?
Ooh weather is sooo good am thinking about getting my sparkly thong on & slap a bit a fake tan on my white bits!!
Thanks for the messages girls!

I have had a faint line on my ebay cheapie OPK since I stopped bleeding. From Mon-Fri I had an on/off pain around my right ovary - wonder whether it was ovuation pain?

HalleLouja · 11/03/2012 19:33

Sounds promising. Welcome back chavette.

UmBongo · 12/03/2012 15:03

Welcome back and good luck. Make sure the fake tan is bright orange and a bit streaky! The sun is out so you can get most of your bits out down the park!

Fairygodmother1 · 13/03/2012 16:50

Thank you, I did reply last night but not shown up! Yes streaky fake tan is the only way to be!!

Hello chavettes. How are you hanging?

Icedlemonmuffin · 23/03/2012 12:44

Little mini muffin has decided that 2 o'clock in the morning is party time, she wants to chat and dance and will not listen to me when I tell her I'm tired!

I have tried to reason with her and say 7 is an acceptable time to poke my eyes, put her fingers up my nose, pull my eyelashes out and to have a dance ( she likes to dance while trying to stand on me) but she will just not listen Grin.

HalleLouja · 23/03/2012 12:52

Bliming babies! They are great but tiring.

Fairygodmother1 · 25/03/2012 08:10

Hey chavs how are you?

OP posts:
HalleLouja · 25/03/2012 08:14

I am ok. How's you?

Fairygodmother1 · 25/03/2012 19:06

Am ok - waiting for AF day 35 and not a hint.
Been laid up with a bad back. Slowly getting better. Cant wait to get away for a few days in the holidays.

OP posts:
HalleLouja · 25/03/2012 22:34

Where you off to?

UmBongo · 26/03/2012 00:30

Pleased you are Ok FairyG, and looking forward to a holiday. We are not going anywhere at easter, cos I only have 4 weeks to go now and don't want to be too far from our local lovely big hospital!

I am also about to re-issue myself with a sharpened stick for people who say "Is that all, you are looking very neat" as well as "wow that time has flown" Any more neat comments and I will start to get paranoid about not being any fatter, despite the midwife saying I am doing fine!

Really ought to get baby stuff out and sorted this week, and pack some sort of hospital bag. [wanders off in search of another to do list - but will forget and do something else instead]

Really ought to be in bed asleep. Night night all.

Fairygodmother1 · 26/03/2012 19:31

Disneyland Paris - It was there that we decided to try for a baby 4 1/2 years ago so maybe it will finally be a disney baby!! (thats if I finally come on)! Hmm
Glad you're nearly at the end the um? Feels like a bloody long road to me too! Sad

HalleLouja · 27/03/2012 20:14

How many weeks Um??

UmBongo · 28/03/2012 13:10

3 weeks left on friday. Have finally started removing baby stuff from the loft and cleaning and sorting it, the line is covered in teeny tiny vests and babygros! Am also writing list for hospital bag! I may even get a bag out and pack it Shock Must also find baby car seat and wrestle with it until the cover comes off so that can be washed too.

I have bought nappies and lansinoh, so have not been a complete ostrich Grin

HalleLouja · 28/03/2012 19:57

We need a photo of your washing line.

If you have a girl I might have a few bits you can have.

PMSL at Ostrich.

UmBongo · 30/03/2012 20:08

Bag packed, chavvy slippers bought from Asda for £2 for hospital, car seat cleaned and most of the laundry sorted and put away!

Thanks Lou, but I will get an avalanche of pink stuff from various friends who cannot wait to have a chuck out!

Actually I can't be an ostrich as I cannot bend enough to put my head in any sand!

HalleLouja · 01/04/2012 20:40

I got really cheap pants from Asda too instead of those paper ones. I was supposed to get rid of them but kept hold of them. Sexy they are not.
