Morning everyone,

Would I be able to join this thread? This is my 7th cycle of ttc no. 1. I have charted for the first time this month. I'm not totally sure what I'm doing yet, I have been good and have taken my temp at exactly the same time everyday and as soon as my alarm goes off. FF thinks I ovulated on CD16, I agree with this because I had crampy pains that day that I thought must be ovulation.

I'm 8dpo now, should my temp be rising every day? It was a bit down this morning so I'm worried that it's on the slide towards AF Sad

my chart

essenceofSES · 26/01/2011 08:52

Thank you for replying and hello!

My chart is on an app on my iPhone so not sure how to post it....

Will see if I can log on to FF again as I used to have an account there.

I'm also going to check back on an old MN temping thread that I was on when ttc DS as I'm sure I had a similar thing then.

Bear with me....

Iwish · 26/01/2011 09:07

Oh auntied honey don't feel down. I felt the same a couple of days ago, it's hard to feel positive sometimes isnt xx

Thanks strawberry I still don't quite believe it till I get a dark line. I will be keeping my FX for you and stalking you :)

Welcome essence and mrsden

chart
Is that working?

essenceofSES · 26/01/2011 09:27

Or is this better?

Newgolddream · 26/01/2011 09:31

Morning everyone, im still quite new here and figuring it all out, Im on my phone just now so will read back properly when I get home later and hopefully work out how to link chart.

Well FF has put my lines in today for CD 11 so I am 3 DPO already, and have 2 chances, 1 was day before ov and the other was 4 days - do tyou think that attempt may still have been enough?

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 09:41

Hi Essence I think you're probably looking at ov cd 18.
Not familiar with cbfm but it's common to ov one or two days post +opk.
I always use opk and cm as a guide but the real decider is temps.

And wow iwish how amazing - a line is a line. Congrats!

(Feeling a bit sad though as getdown started thread 3 and got bfp, iwish started thread 5 and has little fp and I started thread 4 and haven't got mine yet!) Sigh.
But well done iwish Just envious!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 09:43

Welcome Mrsden

essenceofSES · 26/01/2011 09:47

Thanks MrsA - that's what I thought. We had SWI on CD13 and CD16 so just hope that's enough...

NewGoldDream - it seems like we're both hoping the two ocassions will be enough for us this month - fingers crossed!

Iwish - congrats!!!

Mrs A - I hope your BFP is just around the corner!

Right it's my one day off work today so I'd best make the most of it!

TerrysNo2 · 26/01/2011 10:00

Hello all, been chatty this am!

Iwish a line is a line is a line!! Grin Grin Is there any reason you are not getting your hopes up? Not sure if you have had previous MC?

MrsA your time will come, I am sure of it.

Welcome to mrsden and essence.

newgolddream those SWI's are certainly possible - ask spilt about how long the swimmers can last!! Wink

Question please ladies. In the cycle after your WTF did it go back to normal? My WTF cycle was 5 days out (so OV 5 days later but LP stayed the same). Any idea what will happen for me this month?? Thanks!! Smile

Karbea · 26/01/2011 10:12

Hello,

My temp still hasn't gone up www.fertilityfriend.com/home/332dc0 I'm starting to worry that maybe my lutual phases aren't long enough.

My cycle is pretty much always 24days and today is CD14.

I really expected my temps to go up this morning based on the fact I had ovary pain last night and a + OPK... do temps sometimes just not go up? Is this an issue?

thanks xx

mslk · 26/01/2011 10:13

Morning ladies.

Welcome new ladies

Sorry AF got you Terrys

Hope your line gets darker Iwish

Sorry I was quiet last night. The threads were very emotional and I thought I should step back and let you ladies have your space. You?ve been through lots of ups and downs together.

So my temps have started going up. And this morning FF gave me dashed cross-hairs. I?m not sure I agree with them though. Am I allowed to say that?! my chart

I?m on CD29 and it thinks I OV?d CD26!! But fertile CM and CP were long gone by then. And given, in the last 12 months, my cycles have ranged from 27 to 33 I just can?t see it?s correct. Or am I in denial?

We?re not in with a chance if FF is correct but if I?m correct and I OV?d around CD19 then we?re in with a good chance. I?m still feeling a little bit icky and having mild cramps, not something that I usually get pre AF.

Help me stop getting my hopes up, please Blush

TerrysNo2 · 26/01/2011 10:14

If you OV-ed around CD19 mslk then CD25 could be an implantation dip??

Iwish · 26/01/2011 10:37

Thanks mrsa. You can share my thread and get a bfp on here too. I'll be hoping for you xx

thanks essence and I hope you enjoy your day off work :)

Thanks terrys I'm not sure, it's my first PG and first 2nd line lol! I guess I'm just a little scared. I have an underactive thyroid and from what I've read on google etc it's not good when pg. Also I think as the line is so faint I will wait till it gets darker to get excited. I did have a nice happy cuddle with DP this morning tho. He told me to look after bean when he went to work - bless him.

Thanks mslk. Hope you did OV cd19 like terrys suggests. You would be 10dpo now! And you van disagree with FF lol. It gave me crosshairs for cd10, then cd14 then cd17!

Waves to all you lovely ladies xx

Wow congrats iwish! Hope the lfp turns into a bfp soon!

Welcome newbies

Haven't checked charts but will do later.

battery any news to report?

essenceofSES · 26/01/2011 11:17

Iwish - I have an underactive thyroid too. When did you last have your levels checked? It may be worth seeing your GP if not within the last couple of months.
During pg they like to keep TSH below 3.

Iwish · 26/01/2011 11:24

Thanks digi love. I'll be testing again on Friday I think just to check.

essence I had my last check in October I think. I'm thinking of booking a doctors appt for Saturday or Monday and demanding they check my levels and telling them I'm pg. I bet if I just rang to tell them I'm of they would just refer me to the midwife and I'd have to just wait to get my levels checked. What do you think? X

batteryhen · 26/01/2011 11:26

My news is no news - temp was up but AF arrived too, which I am pleased about. I just either want a BFP or a proper AF. Seems this one might be a slight heavier flow which puts my mind at rest a bit more. I did have acupuncure last night and she aid she would concentrate on flow etc. :)

Congrats iwish :)

will pot later at home,

thanks digi for asking :)

PS I have an LP of 15 days!!

batteryhen · 26/01/2011 11:29

ps izzy thnaks for the advice - I have been thinking about sending a Pm to mummyabroard but have been too scared to - I hope this AF will allay my fears somewhat!

Sorry for spelling- am at work and rushed!!

mousebacon · 26/01/2011 11:31

Thanks for the advice ladies and thank you battery I will ask for those bloods to be done. It's very strange to still have sore boobs and feel sick etc knowing it's not worked out Sad xx

LadyGoneGaga · 26/01/2011 13:00

Just popping head round the door, I'm underactive too Iwish. If you just speak to the receptionist and explain you are newly pregnant and need your thryoid levels checking they will make you a blood test appt. You may need to speak to Dr on phone but will save two trips. and then you can discuss any specifc concersn when your blood results come back. this is what I did anyway!

By the way, providing your levels are controlled and your dose is probably increased there shouldn't be any probs with your preg. Good to keep TSH low. They put me under consultant led care and gave baby extra monitoring (additional sacns etc) but he was fine! Hope all goes well for you. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 13:07

Karbea I can't remember - is this your first cycle of charting?
Generally your LP won't vary much but your ov can. Mine varies from cd 18 to 27! So this cycle may be a bit longer than others for a number of reasons. You don't always see an immediate rise after +opk either. A couple of cycles ago, a had a frustratingly slow rise, but at the end it was still a rise. That is the only sure fire way of knowing you've ov.

Perhaps your temps will shoot up tomorrow. Until then, keep on shagging!
It is very unlikely, but can happen, that you have an anovulatory cycle where you don't ov. You will still see a period at the end but it is not a true period.
It cn happen to most women at some point and unless you have many of them, shouldn't be a worry.

Let's see what happens tomorrow.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 13:11

mslk very strange. I'd say cd 20/21 if it weren't for your high temps pre ov. Your dip on cd 25 does seem like a classic post ov dip (sometimes implanation, sometimes not).

I think ff works best if you temp every day, even during af.

It has put dotted lines cos your others signs indicate earlier ov. You are allowed to disagree with ff!

mslk · 26/01/2011 13:32

Thanks for looking Terrys. That's what I was thinking but can it be if I didn't get a big rise just after CD19?! hmmm I wonder!! Smile

battery Sounds wrong to say I'm pleased your pleased about AF, IYKWIM.

Thinking of you mouse

Thanks for lookiing MrsA. I think I did OV somewhere between CD19 and CD21. Time will tell I guess. This is my first cycle charting and only got my thermometer part way through so I guess that puts the chart out a bit. I'll try and keep a level head and see what happens!!! Grin Who am I kidding!! Smile

x

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 26/01/2011 14:14

just a thought - those new to charting, make sure you don't do what i did and buy a thermometer that measures to only one decimal point. I bought my original one from Boots but then, on advice here, bought a proper BBT one from amazon which goes to 2 decimal places. Much more accurate.
