AuntieD sorry about AF arrival, it is a bugger but please try to enjoy a large glass of Wine and come back to us when you are ready.

Hello everyone else - 2ww for me, either 4 or 6dpo depending what you want to believe so hope to know either way by the end of next week. Coverline and temps way higher this month than ever before but no idea if that means anything.

weimy · 17/02/2011 18:53

terrys FX

I'm hating the 2ww and being super aware of my body.

mrsden · 17/02/2011 20:34

Sorry Doris, it's awful when AF turns up even when expecting it.

I'm waiting to ovulate, should be tomorrow I think. I feel really emotional today for no reason. It's a bit like PMT but in the middle of the month Confused. Probably not helped by finding out that yet another friend is pregnant. I swear everyone in my life is either pregnant or has a new baby.

DH is engrossed in football so I'm keeping out the way, hoping for some SWI later Wink.

Terrys maybe higher temps is a good sign, fingers crossed. Good luck to weimy too for your 2ww. Hopefully I will ovulate tomorrow and then I'll join you in the obsessing!

Folicacid · 18/02/2011 08:19

Sorry AuntieD, even though you know it's coming it still hits you like a ton of bricks when it does.

TTIF. I'm obsessively looking at FF as thought I'd get the crosshairs today but as I took temp an hour early yesterday it looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer. Put tonight for a few drinks and already thinkign oh no that will much up my temps. Even though I'm only two months in to temping ( not TTC) I'm wondering if it'sd just not for me. I'm finding it a bit obsessive. I hope that wears off with time though.

Happy weekend guys Wine

jaggythistle · 18/02/2011 08:58

Sorry AuntieDoris :(

Looks like we'll be 2ww buddies again mrsden, expecting eggulation here tomorrow as well.

jaggythistle · 18/02/2011 08:59

Ok I am thick and didn't notice you;d posted that yesterday mrsden D'oh! I am a day behind then :)

essenceofSES · 18/02/2011 10:52

Morning all! Last day of my week off already!

Terrys - fx for your 2ww. Higher temps can only be a good sign!

FolicAcid - charting does tend to lead to obsessiveness IMHO but that's not necessarily a bad thing... Wink
When are you planning to start ttc?

mrsden - why is it when ttc, everywhere you look there are pg ladies and little babies? Just seems to rub salt into the wound! Hope you're having a better day today.

weimy - fx for your 2ww as well!

jaggy - hello! LOL at you sneaking on at work!

My ovulation is still looking like it will be earlier than normal. Peak on CBFM today at CD12 and EWCM. Hopefully weekend SWI will do the trick!

H tunnocks :)

Had a nosey at your chart - don't suppose you know how long your luteal phase is usually?

fingers crossed for a lucky first chart - I got a BFP on my first one 2 years ago!

Hello tunnocks do you know how long your cycle normally is? 15 dpo and temp still high is a good sign unless of course your LP is longer than 15 days, then there might still be time for it to dip. I think temp normally drops the day before or the day of AF arriving so if it stays high might be worth POAS. Fingers crossed and good luck Smile

Jaggy what's a day between friends? I'll happily be your cycle buddy and we can symptom spot together Grin

Hi tunnock welcome!

well just checked ff and like last month my highest temp was at 9dpo, I think it will start to dip tomorrow I am getting AF pains. :(

weimy · 18/02/2011 12:55

oops, Thanks essence and Mrsden for the fx I am crossing everything!!

Truffkin · 18/02/2011 13:07

Hi everyone, just wanted to pop in to commiserate with AuntieD and keep my fingers crossed for Terrys too.

FoliAcid I also wanted to say that after 7 months of charting I am far less obsessed about it than I was at the start. Taking my temp and recording the fertility signs has become a routine and although I am not ashamed to admit that I still like it when the crosshairs appear (and I get a gold star from FF for shagging in a timely fashion Grin!) it is not as all-consuming as once it was so there is hope!

I'm boringly on CD6 now so nothing to report for another week or so!

Truffkin · 18/02/2011 13:08

Sorry, it took me so long to post that I missed Tonnock's introduction! That is practially a text book chart so fingers crossed!

jaggythistle · 18/02/2011 13:11

lol at the gold star truffkin !!

I am expecting a medal this month, poor DH is wondering what has hit him Shock

waiting for ov chart

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 18/02/2011 13:23

Temps up again today. I can't believe I've ov but have put in all info like drinking and timings.
All I can think is cos I'm away on business in London (home tonight, yay - hate the place)
that might affect me.
Been on a week long intensive course with little time for fresh air and excercise so may well be the reason.

Time will tell.

So sorry af came auntie have a good cry and share some Wine with DH.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 18/02/2011 13:39

Just a quick qn whilst I'm waiting for train.

I generally have temp dip about 8 or 9 dpo and my lp is about 11 days.
I don't know enough about actual implantation hormones.
Does anyone know if the bean could implant but there is not enough time between implantation and the pg hormone reaching the corpus luteum to sustain the womb lining.
What I mean is, the lining sheds despite implantation taking place fine.
And if so, what can be done (if anything)?

Last cycle I was so convinced as I had light bleedinmg around 9dpo but temps never went back up.

Thanks for any help.

TerrysNo2 · 18/02/2011 14:39

Hello all

tunnock go and buy a test and POAS tomorrow!! 16dpo will surely tell right ladies?? Oh, sorry, got so excited by your chart forgot to say welcome! Grin

mrsden and jaggy hope you are both SWI-ing and FX for OV confirmed in the next few days!

Temps still very high 7/5dpo for me - next week is going to be loooooong!

jaggythistle · 18/02/2011 15:05

Well terrys no SWIing right now cos I am at work, definitely planned for later. ;)

Think DH is looking forward to a day off Grin

Decided to go for every day up to ov this cycle...

mrsden · 18/02/2011 15:13
