Well here we are on volume 5!! Plenty of room for growing bumps and stashes of Thermometers and pee sticks!!

This thread WILL bring BFPs, everything crossed ladies apart from your legs!!

OP posts:
HarderToKidnap · 14/02/2011 13:02

I have lost my thermometer!! It rolled under the bed and I cannot find it. I don't even have anyting under there, it's not like it has buried itself in mounds of stuff. I have another which I used this morning but it has given me a very low reading so if I have to continue using it and it gives me lower reading than my other did then I don't think it will catch the shift, as a shift on new thermometer will just bring me back up to the temps on the old thermometer.

Really (and ridiculously) upset!

Harder I lost mine a few months ago thanks to DS and I bought another one as I couldn't cope was too confused. Can you pop to boots? I did find my other a few weeks later wedged between a book and the wall so now I have a spare! Smile

Newgolddream sorry you are having a hard day, I hope you can get through it and have a big glass of Wine tonight. x

AuntieD it ain't over yet! Chart looking good and pre-AF symptoms can also be PG ones! FX for you

katee glad you got your 3wk+ on CB Digi - made me feel happy for you and a bit sad for me as I never got that with my MC.

Well I am peeved with FF Angry - no coverline for me today although 3 temps higher than all previous. If you have had a fallback rise does it take longer to get crosshairs? What do you think??

Smile
Newgolddream · 14/02/2011 15:12

Thanks terrys.

Re your chart, I would hazard a guess you may have ov yesterday so it usually takes ff 3 or so days of raised temps to put the coverline in, so hopefully in a few days, plus todays temp is not coloured in circle,.

weimy · 14/02/2011 15:12

Hello all!

I'm 5dpo now and have convinced myself that I have sore nipples and feel sickly.

Big hugs to newgoldendream

terrys I'm not sure, my ov temp dip always seems to be huge so I can't really tell sorry :(

level · 14/02/2011 16:23

Hi all

Well my temp was up a little bit this morning (especially when I discounted the mornings after I'd been drinking).

Hopefully that's it and the temps will stay up.

essenceofSES · 14/02/2011 16:51

Hello! Need to do a bit of a catch up after a busy weekend! DH took me for a night away in London and dinner at Richard Corrigan's restaurant. Was lovely :)

I'm only on CD8 so gearing up for SWI at the weekend and beyond!

NewGold - ((hugs)) for you. Anniversaries like that can be very :( Take time to have a Wine for your mum and do something nice as a treat for you (as that's what she'd want!) even if it's just a nice piece of cake or favourite meal.

Level - I hope that temp stays up for you!

Terrys - not sure about your chart I'm afraid but it may be that you only ov within the last couple of days.

weimy - fingers crossed it's your month!

Harder - Oh no! How frustrating (to put it mildly!) Hope it turns up soon but if not, buy another! It will give you a better idea than no thermometer at all!

AuntieD - hope your flight was ok.

Hello anyone I've missed!

MrsP81 · 14/02/2011 19:02

Hello all! Just got back from my weekend away, had a lovely time.

Had a big temp drop this morning which was not a very nice birthday present. Sad AF not here yet but she's definitely on her way.

I'm going to follow ravens lead and duck out of this thread now as I spend too much time obsessing about TTC!

It's been lovely to share the journey with you and I wish every one of you all the best and hope we get BFPs very soon. xxx

ochaye · 14/02/2011 20:14

Oh MrsP81 ... sorry to see you go but completely understand. We're missing raven and I'm sure we're going to miss you too Sad.

I hope you're doing ok Newgold. I've lost my brother, sister and Dad in my time so know how hard it can be. I hope you can dwell on the happy memories ... not that it stops you missing your loved ones.

Harder - buy a new one!

Terrys - why is your latest dot not coloured in? I think if it was, you might get your cross hairs.

Happy SWI'ing essence.

Fx level and weimy.

Welcome home AuntieD!

I am irrationally happy today. I can't explain it. Hope it lasts! Must remember to SWI tonight ...

essenceofSES · 15/02/2011 09:24

Morning all! It's my birthday today so currently sat in Starbucks and then off for a massage and facial and then lunch with my parents :)

MrsP - good luck and I look forward to hearing about your BFP soon

Ochaye - yay for irrationally happy! Hope you feel the same today :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

TerrysNo2 · 15/02/2011 10:12

Happy Birthday essence have a wonderful day, it certainly sounds like you will! Smile

ochaye irrationally happy - don't complain!! Wink

Bye MrsP - come back and share your BFP with us.

I am totally confused - my temp was higher again this morning (higher than any other month at this stage), I did get out of bed at 4.30 and took temp at 7am, but I don't think that can be the reason Confused. FF still doesn't think I have OV-ed so I changed interpretation to OPK and it put CD17 which was my assumption too, based on all signs. I have most definitely OV-ed as CM is very creamy and lots of it. Yet again, need to wait till tomorrow!

mrsden · 15/02/2011 10:24

Sorry to see you go mrsP. Wishing you lots of luck, will you come back and tell us when you get your BFP?

Happy Birthday essence Wine

I've just found out that my cousin is 8 weeks pregnant. I'm a little shocked because she's only been with her partner for 5 months, and they're always falling out so they've been more off than on in that time. She's the same age as me but we're complete opposites. She drinks and smokes heavily (and I mean heavily) and she lives off Mcdonalds. Here's me doing everything by the book, no drinking, never smoked, healthy eating, glugging grapefruit juice by the gallon and not so much a whiff of a BFP. Just goes to show that getting pregnant is a lottery. Oh, and it was a one off accident or so she says anyway!

Right, moan over. I am happy for her really.

Did you all fit in some Valentine's SWI-ing?
Is anyone close to POAS?

Newgolddream · 15/02/2011 10:37

Morning everyone, I feel a lot better today.

Thanks weimy, essence and ochaye for your thoghts, does really mean something.

Essence - have a really lovely birthday, spoil yourself!

ochaye - so sorry about your losses to, too hard at times eh. I lost my Dad when I was only 18 so losing my Mum hit me really hard. My boys were only 10 and 2 and Ive had another once since whos now 3, think it was one of the reasons I got PND the last time as I hadnt really dealt with losing her, and it was the realisation she wasnt here to see them grow up.

MrsP - take care.

Mrsden - sometimes it really doesnt seem fair does it. Its took some time to conceive all my boys so I struggle to understand how anyone can just fall pregnant at times to - especially people who dont use contraception...well theres always a chance eh, and then act all surprised!

Newgolddream · 15/02/2011 10:39

Forgot to add FF had my lines in at CD8 as I said already but putting todays temp in took them away all together, bit of a bugger as I didnt feel like swi last night, now perhaps I should have done, so will give it a go tonight.

squeakytoy · 15/02/2011 11:04

please could someone tell me how to link my chart. thanks.

TerrysNo2 · 15/02/2011 11:15

squeaky - go to FF and on the left hand side is a tab called "My Home Page" - just copy and paste that link here. HTH!

squeakytoy · 15/02/2011 11:17

cool thanks.. would anyone like to try and advise me what they think about this...

its my first month of charting and 2nd month of ttc.

I am due on today and so far not come on.. (its usually what I wake up to each month)

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/155bbe

TerrysNo2 · 15/02/2011 11:58

squeaky its difficult to know without any other charts to compare it with - if you are due on today and its not come then I would say your chart is looking good as your temp went up today. Its a waiting game now. Good luck!

squeakytoy · 15/02/2011 12:03

thanks Terrys xx

mrsden · 15/02/2011 12:11

squeaky this is only my second month charting so I'm still learning and a long way from being an expert so feel free to ignore me. I think it's good if your temp is still up and you would have expected AF today. Temps usually dip on the day of AF. Do you know if CD15 is the usual day that you ovulate? If so and your normal cycle is 25 days then that means you have a shortish LP of 10 days. I think the average is 14 days though I know lots of ladies on these boards have a 10 day LP with no problems. I'm just wondering if maybe you have ovulated later than usual this month and your AF might actually be due later, for example when you would be 14 dpo?

If you are sure that AF should have been today then it might be worth POAS Smile

squeakytoy · 15/02/2011 12:23

I have used the LH surge indicator for the previous couple of months and it has been positive at the same times.

I did POAS twice this morning.. but the sodding sticks were faulty (both windows blank)... which didnt impress me much lol!!!

I so hate this time of the month... and its my birthday today, so really really wanted to get that BFP.

On the plus side I have the most sore nipples and have had for the last 3 days... which is unusual for me... but at this stage I think we all look for anything to be a symptom.. lol.

AuntieDoris · 15/02/2011 13:07

Well I am back in the UK, and obviously I couldn't resist POAS. And obviously it was negative. Ho hum. I expect AF is on her way, despite the fact that I have stupidly sore nipples and unusual cramps.

Bollox.

squeakytoy · 15/02/2011 13:18

Exactly how I feel Doris... so fingers crossed yet for both of us! :)

jaggythistle · 15/02/2011 15:02

Hello all.

cd12 so nothing too exciting.

Project more SWI is going well so far.

I have maybe beaten my record for more open circles than blue dots on my chart! POor DS still not 100%.
