TerrysNo2 · 13/02/2011 09:57

Morning all!

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about fallback rises and what you think of my chart CM gone creamy and cervix closed so I think I have OV-ed but temp down today. Confused

Thanks!

mousebacon · 13/02/2011 10:08

Damn! Really sorry if I got your hopes up ifat

Will keep checking in on you to see what happens. I'm still bloody bleeding 2 and a bit weeks after my erpc I'm fed up with it now!

level · 13/02/2011 10:46

Hello everyone

This is my first month charting and I'm worried about my chart.

It's here: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/level

My temperature hasn't gone up yet, but all other signs indicate that I should have ovulated at least a day ago. EWCM has gone and CBFM has me at low.

Any thoughts?

AmandaCooper · 13/02/2011 11:29

Folicacid my first charts after coming off the pill looked a lot like that. On the second and third ones I got a broken red "guess" line and since then there's been a fairly clear pattern of temp rise around CD19. I've voted your chart "too early to tell".

Folicacid · 13/02/2011 12:13

Thanks Amanda. Hmmm worry is I've been off the pill for over a year.

I'll keep temping, but I do think it's made me a bit obsessive. As making a baby is literally my firsy waking thought as I reach for the therm.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 13/02/2011 12:17

It's OK mouse, in my heart I did know it would be neg! :) Temp shot way up this morn, but again, I don't know how reliable that reading is as I had a couple of bottles glasses of wine, and also DH left me asleep on the sofa all night, so I didnt take myself off to bed until 530am! It's crap how the bleeding lingers after a m/c isnt it? I properly bled for 8 days and had brown spotting for another 8 days! Hope you are doing OK xx

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 13/02/2011 12:42

Folic I've voted too early too. What day/s do you usually ov? Terrys I think your chart is fine, if you think you ov'd yesterday, that would make sense, today's temp is still slightly higher than previous days. level I'm afraid your chart has me slightly confused too - hopefully someone with a bit more expertise can offer some advice. Are you taking your temp at the same time each day?

AmandaCooper · 13/02/2011 14:38

Level I don't know I'm afraid. It doesn't look like you've ovulated.

I'm not sure whether it was coming off the pill that threw my early charts off or just that I hadn't got into a routine and having temping on my mind caused me to be quite wakeful early in the morning, which made it difficult to temp at the same time every day and after three straight hours of sleep.

Truffkin · 13/02/2011 16:08

Hi Level I'm also stumped by your chart I'm afraid. Are you taking your temp at the same time every day and after the same amount of sleep? It doesn't look like you've ovulated yet, how long are your cycles usually? It could be an anovulatory cycle perhaps, which means it might just be a rogue chart! It took me a couple of months to see a good pattern when I first started charting.

CD1 again for me today, am actually ok about it in contrary to the last couple of months. Here's to a more successful Feb/March cycle!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 13/02/2011 17:02

level Hi. I also don't think you've ov yet either.
Your body might have tried to ov and then not actually, hence signs of it but not temp shift.

If this is your 1st month, the very fact you're charting can cause things to fluctuate.
Don't worry about late ov. I have ov as late as cd27 and still had normal cycle.

I had huge temp drop today. My charts on the charting thread we started. Its bizarre as I was drinking last night and then DD let us sleep in till 7.50 (can you believe it!!!a lie in on sunday!)
So perhaps that's the cause. Only cd 9 here, so at least a wk and a bit away from ov.

ochaye · 13/02/2011 20:03

Oh rubbish ifatfirst. How long are your cycles normally?

Hmmmmm Newgolddream, I hadn't thought of that side of it. Because I always have the other problem! Can you tell me more about luteal phase? Is the thinking that if it's not long enough eggy doesn't get a chance to burrow?

Terrys - you're WAY too advanced for me! I suspect you'll get a hike tomorrow.

Hi there level!

Think I should ov some time between now and next weekend. As you can tell, I'm not very scientific about it! We're just swi'ing and hoping.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 13/02/2011 20:24

ochaye my cycles are normally reliably 28/29 days so now day 32 and still no clue WTF is going on. Maybe a daft question, but if this is an anovulatory cycle would I get any pre-AF symptoms, or are they all related to progesterone levels? Am a bit uneasy about AF taking me by surprise! Confused

ochaye · 13/02/2011 21:04

Hmmmmmmm ... I'm not sure ifatfirst but I'm sure someone will know. My cycle is normally about 31 days and this WTF cycle I just had was 37 days. It does seem to be quite common to have a longer cycle, I suppose because the mc isn't really like af?

If you keep temping it might give you a clue so you don't get caught by surprise?

jaggythistle · 13/02/2011 21:44

folic acid, have also voted too early to tell. :)

terrys, just looked up fallback rises in TCOYF and it wasn't very detailed so i guess you'll find out tomorrow!

level, i am on my phone ro will have a better look later. have forgotten what i was going to say and can't open another window.

we are on operation SWI at every opportunity this cycle, after 4 months of struggling to time it right. think it will be swi whenever DS is asleep and we're not! have read TCOYF and got the preseed in too, it's getting serious. because I'm getting impatient alreadyBlush

AuntieDoris · 14/02/2011 01:09

What do you think Ladies?

Should I be hopeful or resigned?

mousebacon · 14/02/2011 07:40

I call hopeful Grin Fingers crossed for you x

mrsden · 14/02/2011 07:50

Morning everyone,

I've been sulking since AF arrived but I'm in the SWI-ing stage now so feeling more upbeat. This thread has moved so fast, I think congratulations are due to Katee and Tory Fantastic news, please pop back and keep us updated.

Raven I totally understand, it sounds like a sensible decision. I always thought ttc would be fun but it can be so stressful. It's easy for people to say just relax and it will happen but it's so frustrating when something that comes so easily to many people is so hard for us. But we will get our BFP. Please come back and tell us when you do.

Level I agree with the others, it doesn't look like you've ovulated yet. What was your temp like today? Have you been taking it at the same time each day?

Auntiedoris I vote for hopeful, that chart looks good.

Hello to anyone I've missed, hope everyone's SWI'ing is going well! And sorry to anyone who has had evil AF arrive. I know how awful it is.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 14/02/2011 07:53

If A temp hike yesterday.......?!!

Auntie, yes hopeful - your LP is normally 14 days? So when would you poas?

May be absent for a while ladies - off to London for work for the whole feckin week. May not have tinternet access.

kateepie2 · 14/02/2011 08:14

Have a good week MrsA at least it might stop obsessive behaviour if you don't have internet access Wink

Auntie chart looking good!

Morning mrsden CB digital gave me 'pregnant 3+' yesterday, so hoping that means my hcg levels are keeping up (every poas I have done has been a lot fainter than the control line)... by my chart I am only 2-3 wks!

ifat hope you get to CD1 soon so you can start again x

AuntieDoris · 14/02/2011 09:01

Well today I am feeling like AF is on her evil way. feeling really crampy - it couldn't be anything else could it!

Not intending to POAS until after AF would have been due. Plus we are flying home from Hong Kong at 11pm tonight (6 hours time) so that should keep me busy!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 14/02/2011 09:07

AuntieD before I got bfp with DD I felt like af arriving every other minute!

But you are wise to forget it and enjoy (?) Flight home. You're nmot turning left on boarding are you? If so, have a fab flight! Grin

AuntieDoris · 14/02/2011 10:10

I bloody wish I was turning left on entering the plane. Probably like the trip out here I will be surrounded by chuntering Chinese people and squawking children. Ho hum!

Newgolddream · 14/02/2011 12:54

Morning everyone, Im totally confused as my CM...well I dont know whether to describe it as creamy or watery as it seems to be both! And the problem is if I out it in as creamy FF says I ov on CD8 - really early but not if I put it in as watery. I generally ov on CD 10-11, so a couple od days early - and I had only just started swi, so only 1 swi would count lol!!! Maybe I should just swi again tonight just in case?

Problem is I really dont feel like it, Im trying so hard but today is a very emotional time, its the anniversary of my lovely Mums death, been 7 years now, cant believe it. Sad So dont know if I can manage. Hate it every year, especially on Valentines Day when you think about people being happy and im miserable.

AuntieDoris - fab looking chart with a dip at 8 days - looks promising! Smile
