essenceofSES - I notice you had a BFP at 9 DPO - that was the same as me with last DS! Plus your SWI was 2 days before OV - mine to lol.

Unfortunately because I got my BFP then Im more inclined to test early and get all down when its negative.

I know what you mean about testing early! I'm determined not to but at only 4dpo that's easy to say....
I'm keeping my fingers crossed as we had SWI 2 days before ov this time too!
(I've got to keep my hopes up somehow!)

Hello everyone. Very chatty now we have so many new faces, I feel like an old timer already!!

Still in boring AF for me so chart stalking those in 2ww and keeping my FX for you.

My AF is very strange atm, sorry if TMI but its mainly brown and umm, gloopy (nice!!) and when it is red, its watery. It also stopped completely for about 12 hours after 2 days (For those who are new, this is my first AF post miscarriage). Has anyone else's AF's been weird post-MC?

essence I can't believe you got a bfp at 9dpo, that's pretty impressive! I see the chart went up and down a bit rather than smoothly up which is hopeful too as mine are always rocky!

Terry hi, my AF was very strange after m/c in that it was very light. But my AF's now seem to be pretty watery when it is red - I don't think I use to have that. I'm not sure what it means though if anything....anyone know?

Well for 3 days I have been having strange flutterings in my stomach and stomach cramps. I never get this before AF. Stupidly looked it up and found other women got this around implantation time. So I dared to hope last night that I might be pregnant. Woke up this morning to full on AF. And now I go into cycle8 since m/c....so depressing!!!

sorry angster, it sucks that pregnancy symptoms are so similar to af approaching!

essence and newgold - want to join my 'just cos i got my bfp quite early last time, doesn't mean testing early is good' club?

mine was 11dpo, but i had a testing frenzy from about 9dpo the last few cycles.

still going for no tests until the unlikely event that af is late. it actually feels really good to just wait and see. only 9dpo, might crack yet i suppose.

oh yeah, temp down a bit today. still fairly high though iyswim.

of course i check everything against my pg chart obsessively, temps didn't stay high all the time, could be ok...

Oh yes, I think I'll join that club. I'm a bit worries that I've now encouraged people on the testing early front!!
Somewhere on MN are the old "temping buddies" threads and in one of them is my 9dpo testing debate as to whether it was really a line or an evap line. It definitely had a hint of pink though so we decided it was a BFP.
Further more, miraculously it wasn't FMU. I'd had a 90min drive home from work that day where I'd been torturing myself symptom spotting, arrived home resolved that it was all in my head, only for DH to proclaim at a baby on the telly "I want one of those!" So I stormed off to do a test! When I saw the faintest line, I was so scared and consulted MN. I didn't tell DH til I'd had another BFP the next morning! (I'd had 2 mmc in the preceding 6mo).

essence, don't worry- think quite a few people get earlyish positives so need no encouragement. you just can't tell when to test though. i guess that's how test manufacturers make money.

i read somewhere that you might not get an early positive every pg. peeonastick.com has much interesting info, might have been there.

if i can stop early testing, maybe then i can tackle my internet addiction...

Im going to trawl poas.com now and look for that because its hard not to get neg at a BFN, and it doesnt matter how much I tell myself I know I will start testing at 9 DPO lol. Mine def was a BFP, it was on an internet cheapy, and I didnt tell DH till next day when I got a strong BFP at 10 DPO obv on a "proper" test.

Well temperature rose again this morning andf FF gas now changed my OV day from CD 11 to CD 15 - only 1 swi will apply so fingers crossed. Plus its a bit depressing to think you are 7 DPO and then all of a sudden its only 3 DPO lol!!

Im not sure what to think, its probably based on the fact I was still having EWCM.

CD28 for me and temp still up. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, if I can make it to Tues without temp drop or AF I will POAS. My cycles vary between 29 and 35 days but if I ovulated on CD16 I would expect it to be 29 days, does that sound right? This is my first month temping so not really sure how long my LP is. Does the temp drop happen suddenly on the day of AF or does it start dropping before?

I had an awful night's sleep. I woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep. I felt wide awake which is so unlike me. I never have problems sleeping. Anyway, I did manage to dose off eventually and then took my temp as normal at 7am and then managed to dose a bit more. But now I feel a bit rough, I think it will be a lazy Sunday for me!

Sorry, that was supposed to say I would expect my cycle to be 30 days if I ovulated on CD16 so that would be Tues.

Hello essence, Karbea, newgold, Terrys, jaggy, MrsP81, MrsA, Strawberry, Newgold and anyone else I've missed.

I stupidly POAS this morning BFN, and temp is down a bit so I think AF will be here very,very soon. So now I'm worrying FF is correct about OV and I have a really short LP!!

Some serious distraction techniques will be employed today and next cycle I will be temping from the start. And if LP is still short after that, then I'll really worry!!

mine seems to drop the day before af arrives i think.

usual lp 12 days for me it seems so I'll be due Tues or wed too...

mrsden it took me a good few months of temping to get an idea of how long my LP is and since I read its generally the same every cycle I got worried because for the last few months mine has been different every month, ranging from 10-13 days and combinations in between. Once you chart for a bit hopefully you will see a pattern for you. And the temp drops have all been different for me to.

Hi mslk, hope the witch doesnt hsow for you and temp rises tomorrow, fingers crossed. How long do you think your LP is? My LP was only 10 days but has varied now if it stayed at 10 days I was going to start taking Vit B6 to help try to lengthen it a bit.
And no need for sorry, I hate the BFN feeling - almost more than when AF actually arrives actually, but its such a downer eh?

angster sorry af got you. Cd1 is shite. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

terrys my first post-mc af isn't really af, it's more an anovulatory bleed. Brown spotting, sometimes red spotting but mainly brown. I've had the same after every mc. The one after that is usually a proper heavy red flow, which although depressing reassures me that lining was nice and thick so body is back to normal.

jaggy i compare to my last pg chart too - although it was frustratingly perfect, just kept going steadily up. V annoying as I've had a bit more of a jagged climb this time.

My chart could go either way right now. I think I'm actually 8dpo rather than 10, but can't bring myself to amend the cervix position. I usually start to drift downwards from cd12, so I think I'll know by then. Definitely won't be doing any poas till at least next Sunday - I have up to a 15 day luteal phase.

Think I've got a busy week at work so hopefully won't spend too much time dwelling on it. Not feeling remotely pg.

Sorry af turned up angster like everyone says cd1 is crap and try as we all might, until it turns up we all secretly hope this cycle is it.

Chart stalking some of you!

I am 6dpo and no symptoms other than the usual ones - bit of cramping, slightly twinges in the boob area, all fairly standard.
No real pmt atm - it normally turns up about a wk before af but that may be due to acupuncture and vit b complex.
Temps are definately higher than usual but again, think that's due to acupuncture.
Good to know I have a decent level of progesterone though.

My lp normally 11-12 days so I'm looking at testing this time next wk if I can hold out.

The only other thing to report is feeling seriously exhausted yesterday and today. More than usual, despite an ok sleep. Wonder if I've picked bug up as it's way too early for tiredness to kick in.

I am only on CD6 so have nothing of interest to say. I have been food shopping to try and build up a good thick lining. So I now have a cupboard full of aduki beans, kidny beans, asparagus and pineapple. Costs a fortune!

Oh I do have a bit of a story - I was in the pub last night and people were talking about babies and my friend turned to me and said 'so batteryhen, not interested in babies then?'. To which I replied very loudly 'well yes but sadly I miscarried twice last year'..... Don't you just love awkward silences :) xxx
