xstitch are you just using OPKs? I read that a surge doesn't mean you've ovulated - it means you're due to within 12-48 hours. How long is DP away?

yoshi I had read that it isn't until 6 weeks that baby becomes attached to your blood supply so one glass of wine will be ok (was on another thread about FAS)

Moray you never know!! every possible thing that is slightly different always sets my alarm bells ringing

Can I jump on board? Am new on here and first month TTC. Odds of success aren't great - medical condition means we have only about half the chance of most couples and we're at higher risk of CP...but we'll try our hardest anyway! Stats below...good luck all x

Ooooh, the bus is getting full. :-)

6dpo today, 2ww starting to feel like forever now! I'm trying desperately not to symptom spot- but I have felt really odd yesterday and today. Hope those of you on the 2ww at the moment aren't driving yourselves too crazy!

Hope everyone ok and doing plenty of SWI. I'm starting my OV sticks on sunday, 11dpo, it says based on a 28day cycle to start them 11 days in. Mines 30 but just in case lol!

The thoughts are still all consuming, yet im a little less obsessed atm, and definately not crying at everything to do with babies - except One Born Every Minute, in pieces throughout.

Sad to hear that highlove, but there is still a chance and you have to seize every opportunity!

Bus seems to be filling nicely. Hopefully the October bus is ours and not too many, if any, are hopping onto November bus!

Very weird after all these years of trying not to be pregnant to at last be trying, excited but more apprehensive than I expected to be.
Fingers (but not legs) crossed for all of you.

Not been on for a bit. Congratulations to the BFPs! This is turning out to be a lucky bus!

I was waiting for my AF but like I said I am fairly irregular. It's day 42 and still no sign. I pg tested last Monday, twice - both negative but as I am not sure when my period would be due so I am not sure if I tested too early .

I am now unsure if my AF is just AWOL or whether there is a chance I could be pg. It's unlikely that I am pg as this is my first month of trying. Not sure what to think really. I think I'll wait a day or two and maybe test again, or is this a waste of time since the last ones were BFN. Help advice needed!!

oddbodd guess it's worthing testing once a week whilst you wait for AF...as you say you're quite irregular so no way of knowing if it's still on it's way or whether you're PG!

oddjob how long is your longest cycle?

i'd give it another few days and if af still not here, test again.

Hi to all of the new ladies, standing room only now, or is this a double decker bus?

I'm very confused. I'm now on CD16 and just got a positive OPK, even though my urine was quite pale (sorry tmi!) but I have no EWCM. Last month I ov'd on CD19 and had bloody loads of EWCM!

Perhaps I should do another OPK just to be certain?

Hi Sevendwarves. keep SWI lol! i got my 2nd line on opk yesterday which was the same as last month but i only have the tinyest bits of EWCM this month but last month i had loads.
how long did you hold your pee for before you did the test? i hold mine for 4 hours and dont drink anything from 5 hours before. (im a peeaholic)
oh and sorry for any spelling mistakes, i usually type on iphone so it corrects everything for me but the laptop doesnt haha :)

How's everyone doing today? Think I may have overdone it slightly as am shattered...but the cramps are back, wind still present and will see if the upset tum is there again in the morning! Another busy day tomorrow as well and then back to work since before Christmas! been nice having extended break and lots of time for SWI without DH's shifts getting in the way!

Hi BlueCrane when did your cramps start? i always get wierd crampy feelings from OV to after AF - i never got them till i came off the pill.
And flippin eck you have had an extended break, bet its been fab. :)

I don't normally get cramps until couple of days before AF due (not that I've noticed since coming off the pill that is!). This time I had upset tum each morning from about 10 days ago, then bloating started about a week ago and cramps on Monday increasing and then petering off towards the end of the week...strange fluttery feeling all week as well! Seem to be full of wind too! To start with I thought I'd eaten something funny whilst we were on hols (though everyone else was fine and there wasn't anything obvious), and then thought the bloating and pain might've got worse with the 12 hour flight home but we got back on Wednesday and all still hanging around! Guess I'll find out in a week or so !

Well AF got me good and proper. The work cramps since before I had DD and I'm already ill with sinus and throat infection so feeling trebly rotten

Will dust self off and get ready for opk stick-peeing, pre-seed squelching, date counting, symptom spotting general madness of ttc for this month.

For tonight though, I'm indulging in ibuprofen, paracetamol, red wine and cake ...and making the most og DH's sympathy.
