Welcome to newcomers, I really hope there will be lots and lots of BFPs for us all this month!! I know it sounds trivial, but would just love to have a summer baby, and this is my last chance....

I wonder if any of you would look at my chart here ? and tell me what you think?

This is a post-MC cycle. I seem to have a bit of a temp dip at CD12, and I'm on CD15 now. Just wondering if anyone thinks this could be the start of HCG finally leaving my system post MC, in which case to expect OV to be delayed by an extra week or so?

Or do you think the dip is just random?

Last cycle I ov'd on CD16, but there are literally no signs of it approaching (i.e. cervix, mucus, cramps etc.)

jaggythistle what is preseed? The name does give a clue but have never heard of it.

DoFliesHaveKnees like the name but have no idea. They are buggers though and keep getting stuck in the secondary glazing.

Sorry getdown - cross thread. Have never done fertility friend and tbo not sure on the ov bit, so no help really! Did your GP not give you any indication of how soon your periods go back to normal?

Morning all!! I'm another one who takes her pregnacare after dinner to avoid nausea (and stomach upset, but that may be TMI for you all!!). I started off taking the pregnacare conception tablets but they really disagreed with me, so now I take the regular ones with the omega 3 capsule and all is okay again. I think it's all about finding the ones that work for you.

thanks passthechocs pre-seed is a sperm-friendly lubricant. I've got some, it is quite nice when you are feeling a bit dry and worn out - not used it internally yet though. I am a bit scared by the look of the "syringes" that come with it

Don't know the extent to which it actually enhances fertility, think it just helps with lubrication.

To be honest the Dr. was rubbish after the MC. Gave me no information. Didn't even want to see me (I spoke to him on the phone whilst I was bleeding heavily ) Just said if the pain got worse to go to a&e.

May have a look at the pre-seed. I know we are only 4 months in to TTC, but am v impatient and any help etc (although really not sure on grapefruit - disgusting stuff).

Am with you there on the worn out (ditto ). It is difficult to fit SWI in when knackered and Saturday mornings sadly no longer an option. The right time for SWI when TTC doesn't always fit with the right time for me!

Still trying to get rid of the queasiness. I do take folic with breakfast, just because the pot is there and its easiest to remember, and have taken indigestion stuff in case but that has yet to kick in. This really plays havoc with the symptom spotting!

I'll join the worn out club Getdown and Passthechocs. I thought this would be lots of fun!

This is only our 2nd cylce so I can't complain but my DH already thinks I'm nuts. He leaves for work at 5.30am so by the time I get home in the evening he's already worn out!

I think I need to increase fertile CM - any tips?

I second the feeling worn out- on cd17 and think we're going to have a few days break lol. With long hours at work really hard to get the motivation but this forum really helps as u realise lots in same boat. Think I've already ovulated going by cycle,cm, opk and symptoms but feel u still make an effort rest of month just in case I'm wrong lol. Plus instead of constantly thinking of how much longer there is 2 go before can test at least feel I'm doing something productive towards ttc lol.

To increase cm for the person that asked: they recommend grapefruit juice and preseed.

Hi ddas I think it's fine to have a few days break TBH. Sperm can hang around for a few days, and it gives your DH a change to "re-charge" I've heard that if you try too often (e.g. every day) it can reduce concentrations of sperm.

Sounds like you have ov'd already anyway so I wouldn't be too worried.

I wish my ov would just hurry up this month! Getting so bored of waiting!

Recognise lots of you from the July bus which is lovely but sad that there weren't a few more bfps.

Have tried preseed this month and can recommend it's good if you, err, are feeling a little worn out GetDown the syringes are a little odd but seem to do the trick...

Oh and have a question for any Clearblue opk users. I got my this morning but the lines on the stick look no darker than yesterday when I didn't get a has anyone noticed this? I'm covering all bases anyway but any info appreciated!

I would just go with the and forget the lines TBH. I don't think you are supposed to interpret the lines with the digital ones.

If you've got any cheapy OPKs in the house you could do another sneaky test a bit later and see if you get a positive?

Yep - SWI has come round very quickly this month and although I was gutted when AF arrived I'm feeling uber positive/lucky etc. I do have short cycles and I'm ov'ing okay so I just got to stop being impatient!

well i started spotting this afternoon, so expect full on AF by tomorrow morning. Have been checking notes in my diary and think i've come down to a 33 day cycle as it ties in with when i had definite OV signs.......

I already have an August boy......can my household cope with another Leo? I remember saying i never wanted to have a baby near to Christmas and then when the reality of TTC kicks in you get to the stage where you don't care when your baby will arrive, you just want a baby.

Afternoon all,

just thought I would say hello, it's a long time till AF is due, but by my calculations we should be SWI from tomorrow, but I think I'll not bother till Friday night, work is too tiring for all this extra cirricular activity!!!

On the cake note, just tried my xmas cake, was pretty darn good, DH will have to hide it or I'll eat it all before long!!! I know it's early but I do really look forward to xmas and getting ready for it!!!

Xmas is the BEST!!! Hopefully will be even better if we all get BFP's by then!!!!

the worst thing about getting a BFP right before Christmas is that if you don't want the whole world to know then you have to get through the whole Christmas/New Year palaver without questions being raised about why you aren't sinking your usual bottle of wine, and that half bottle of sherry 'cos it's christmas' and suddenly you've gone off pate and the cheese board..........

Mind you I really don't care.....i'd rather have a BFP and a sober Christmas than a BFN and the ensuing hangover

Even though my herbal stuff seems to have shortened my cycle i'm still going to go to my GP this month. Has anyone got tips on what i should be asking him for? I don't want to be fobbed off, have had a chat with DP and we're ready to face any medical problems head on now.

In some ways very glad as the 2WW was more of a 3/4WW and seemed to last forever so at least now it's a fresh start.

Although I am definitely bleeding properly, I'm also feeling incredibly sick (on and off), and have chest pains similar to last pregnancy, so I might test in a few days if the sickness doesn't pass. But I haven't even told DP this as it feels very clutching at straws.

queenrollo I know what you mean about timing. DS1 is a September baby and had everyone at the time saying 'what good timing' and 'oldest in the year'. WTF? Never even thought about it when TTC - was just chuffed that he came along. Also wondered about an August baby but TBO not sure how long it will take and am older, so will be going for it every month until not sure when. So will prob need the pre-seed then.

And with you there on the secret pregnancy thing too - my mum nearly jumped a mile when I said I didn't want any brie the other day. Just didn't feel like it but think she has overly sensitive TTC arial!

I don't care if my baby is born in August! All that school year stuff is over-hyped in my opinion (and I am a teacher btw). Not like I am going to take a month off just to prevent a summer holiday baby! Surely one in twelve babies is born in August and it doesn't do them any harm?
Am worried about what I will do about xmas if I get a bfp this month as I will not be ready to tell the world by then. But would be over the moon if I was pg by then so I'm sure the sober xmas would be more than worth it.

I guess if you are pregnant by then just tell people you are getting over a stomach bug, then you can avoid the things you can't have without people suspecting anything?!?

Personally I have told people that we are trying so that there are none of those massive hints flying around, plus as its taking longer than I thought it might they don't ask too much either.

That's not me being jealous of anyone. It's me feeling so veeeeery sick.

And that's me being cross that I can't even get excited that it means something because I only stopped with the EWCM on Tuesday.
