The August Bus departs tomorrow....

Come and join me if you are TTC an August baby [hgrin]

This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

I had my scan and my ovaries look normal. The sonographer said then next step would normally be to do an internal scan Shock but said in light of this morning's news Grin that it was best not to poke around up there at the moment.

They are crazy, terrys - one reason I decided to do the test was that watching Jack Duckworth well up on This Morning when talking about leaving Corrie, I cried. Well, I sobbed, actually! Cue test!

Thanks Esk, glad things look normal - and that you escaped an internal - mind you, I thought that they often did those for lots of EPAU scans, so it can't be terrible. What's the next step?

How lovely to see more BFP's - congratulations!

I am confused today, very confused.

My AF is due this Friday so did tests Mon, Tues and Wed, all negative (I know, I know, bad idea to keep testing, its so depressing!!)

Delivery from ebay yesterday, the cheap bulk lot of ov tests I ordered and it had some pg tests in with it.

Tried one out this morning and I think I saw the faintest of faintest lines. Couldnt quite believe my eyes though so re-tested with a clearblue digital for a straight answer. That said NOT pregnant. They have the same sensitivity so if it is positive then it would have said pregnant on the digital one wouldnt it?

Willl be testing again in the morning, although worried that the cheap ebay ones are not reliable now and those are the only ones I have left!!!

Am all in a dither..

Hi fel1x I actually read somewhere that the clearblue and first response ones are less likely to pick up early, and you had to be at least 2 weeks gone before they did, yet the 10miu internet ones did pick up. Don't quote me on it, but that's why I haven't bought any, and just waiting for BFP on the cheapy ones and if get a + will wait 5 days before get a digi one.
Not sure 100% as I said, but I have read it a few times but can't remember where :)

Hi fel1x I think the CB wouldn't show up if you peed straight after as you need to get some strength in that urine IYSWIM!

Try again in the morning. FWIW, the internet cheapie gave me the most impossibly faint pink line after about 30 mins and later that day, I held my pee for 5 hours and didn't drink and then I got a faint line on a First Response one (you can see it in my pics) That was at 11dpo. Today (12dpo) I got a CB digi positive.

My boobs have got bigger Hmm

I feel very odd too. I fell asleep again yesterday afternoon, then when i went to bed last night I couldn't sleep, and I woke up about 15 mins ago absolutely dying of thirst. Came downstairs to get a drink of water and it tasted foul. People often comment on the tap water here tasting 'strong' but I can't say I've ever noticed. I did this morning though.

So either my body is playing a cruel trick on me or I'm pregnant.

I feel a bit anxious to be honest (i do suffer anxiety attacks).

Going to buy a double test later, will do one this afternoon and then keep the other one for first thing tomorrow morning.
Keep your fingers crossed for me girls.

My temps seem to have started a downward trend so I think I will be getting a visit from AF this weekend. Xmas Sad

Morning all, I just got a BIG FAT POSITIVE BABY!!!!!!!
So excited, was shaking like a goodun. Still am as I write this. Ran downstairs to DH and we did another one, same, clear positive on a internet cheapy!!!!
Can't believe it!!! Due 16th August if everything goes OK. Pink and brown on Sunday/Monday I assume was implantation. Can't stop smiling!!! Grin

I'm restless. I think i'm going to get dressed and nip into nearer town to get a test from the chemist, then pop to local friends for a cuppa and sneak off to the loo. I am just sitting around getting more anxious. I feel nauseous and I keep telling myself it's because i am tired and getting over anxious. I've never been this bad before, I know i'm going to be very low if i get BFP - but if i do then maybe i'll stop stressing and AF will arrive.

Wow, just checked back in with this thread and see the bus has had a good run of BFPs! Congratulations all, fantastic news. You must be all so excited.

For those of you who have got a BFP this month, do you have any top tips to pass on to those of us moving on to the next bus? Did you have symptoms in the 2WW? Did you know you were pregnant before you tested?

Last day of AF for me so now I'm feeling positive and am determined that this cycle will be lucky for me. I've been sulking so not joined the September bus but will soon.

Good luck to everyone waiting to test, and congrats again on the BFPs. Wishing you all a very happy and carefree pregnancy.

Thank you mrsden. VERY excited!!
You always can say 'you just know', and I had a strong feeling I was because of the pink/brown, then no AF.
All I did different this month compared with the other 2 is SWI every other day even after OV, I think I OV'd 10 days later than FF calculated, I didn't touch a drop of alcohol or caffeine since AF and it has seemed to work!!

No news from me this morning.
Did another couple of internet cheap tests this morning and one had same v v v faint line (I think!) and other was def negative. Both done from same fmu, so am thinking I have a dodgy batch of tests Confused

Good news is that there is no sign of af yet which should be due today, so I'm just going to have to sit it out for a couple more days and see if either af aarrives or I get a more accurate test result!!

Its my birthday tomorrow as well, I will be so gutted if af aarrives tomorrow!

Sad BFN

I could only get Clearblue Digital tests though - are these really better with FMU? I've used own brand cheapies up til now.

I have one left but as they are so expensive I think I should wait until Monday am to use it?

Fed up. I've got a really watery mouth, keep getting waves of nausea.

I parked the car up and sat and cried. I'm so fed up with not knowing what my body is doing and I am so fed up with not being pregnant after a whole year of trying that I'm actually thinking I might stop TTC because it is starting to really get me down.

I don't even think I can face going to the GP - I just can't keep doing this.

Oh am so sorry snowqueenrollo Sad It's understandable you feel totally gutted.

How many DPO are you? It's possible that if implantation happened late, you don't yet have enough HCG to show up. I 've heard that the CD digital ones are not as sensitive.

you can open them up with a coin and look at the actual strips to see if you can see a v. faint second line. Not that I do this though Blush

You've not got AF yet, and it's late. And you've got several promising symptoms. Don't despair. I know that BFN is crushingly disappointing but it's not over yet.

from the EWCM i calculated the latest my period should have arrived was weds. So i'm only two days over, and I suppose if i OV'd a ady two after I thought and had late implantation then it could be too early to tell?

will wait until Monday, that would take me to a 33 day cycle like i had last month, but that cycle i didn't really have OV signs.

shrug it is so hard not over-analyse everything isn't it.
