The August Bus departs tomorrow....

This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

I've got my scan tomorrow to see if there are cycts on my ovaries. It's slightly too early in the day for me to be able to go after work so I've had to tell a couple of people that I have a hospital appt (school isn't really the sort of place where people can just nip out for a couple of hours). Then had to say to one person "and no it's not what you think it is" (ie pg) as I knew what she would, quite naturally assume.

I think I'm going to test tomorrow morning (13DPO) as I think there was something on the form about not being pg, although as it's only an ultrasound I can't imagine what the problem is. Perhaps its so they know what they're looking at!

feeling crap - felt so positive about our SWI and at 14.20 today AF kicked in with a vengeance!!!!! 2 days early to add insult to injury!!!! feel very foolish!!!!

Thanks Getdown Nice to see you still popping back in to bus. DH is a bit dismissive of whole scan thing - he's not coming with. Hoping for BFP of course, though it may be too early - last month I got to 17DOP before AF showed up. I have been having cramps really low in my abdomen for the last couple of days though. Plus am hungry lots and can easily convince myself that boobs are sore. So I'm more hopeful than I was a couple of days ago. But that's probably just setting myself up for a fall.

Oooo Esk you've got some promising symptoms! I think at 13DPO it should show a line if you are preg.

When I got preg with DD I felt famished all the time and had sore boobs. Those were my strongest symptoms.

Esk does sound like you have some positive symptoms!

I don't think it's my month :( Feeling like I'm about to start AF any minute :( Have been awake since 4am feeling crappy, was so hopeful - but just cos it happened fast last time doesn't mean it'll happen fast this time.

So many people around me are pg, and now I have to spend Christmas trying to ease off the drink a bit without anyone noticing (it's normally v&T all round at 10am in my parents' house on Xmas day!) I hate that bit.

But it's not quite over yet - though if it is, plus point is that I'm bang on time, so it should be easy to hit the right time this month IYSWIM!

In the unlikely event that AF doesn't show up today, I am still staying away from the HPTs!

Um. I tested. I got a VFP!! (ie very faint, not big and fat!) So faint that DH is adamant that it can't possibly count, but I think that's because he's in denial. Am I right in saying you can't get a false positive?
Now feel very perculiar, mostly also in denial! Also have read of so so many chemical pgs and early mc's that I don't want to get hopes up.
Will still go to scan but will mention it before she gets started.

Well i had that crampy belly ache that usually signals AF when i went to bed last night, and it kept me awake on and off through the night too. I fully expected to get up this morning to AF in full flow but nothing

Me too snowqueen, had crampy feelings for the last few days.

Feeling a bit more sore just now actually so maybe about to appear, only 3 days late!

I did have crapms when I last got pregnant but it was much earlier in the cycle I think, maybe 9dpo. I am now at either 13 or 16 dpo, FF is a bit confused this cycle.

Still no AF here CD38. Doing my sodding head in not knowing. DH agrees that we need to go book appt next week for the following week for a blood test if it doesn't show and still negative. Testing tomorrow morning.

That's me off to the September bus ladies, hopefully not see too many of you remaining passengers there...

Oh well, with my not very representative survey of one DS , September babies are apparently very lovely. ;)

well for the second day in a row i suddenly feel tired, walking through treacle.....

Might buy a test when i go out tomorrow if still no AF but it just feels like such a waste of money to keep spending and getting BFN

KLou sorry you're in a bit of a no-man's land. I was like that the whole TTC for DS, because I had no proper cycle, and for most of this round of TTC too. My herbal stuff has definitely re-booted my system, which is why i'm confused as to why no AF yet.....hopefully i'll get a BFP this weekend!

Well: update!

Feeling crap all morning but no AF.

Getting symptoms I only ever remember having with last pg - dizziness (due to low bp) and carving carbs, as well as feeling crampy in my back.

So I eventually did a test - after having drunk loads and loads of water all morning grrr.

And VERY faint P! So I'm going to test again tomorrow morning, first thing. Like some of you have already said, you can't get a false positive, right?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed! And for you too, esk and everyone else who still has to test.

Thanks KLou - have not dared update my status yet, though.

I'm going to test tomorrow, even though many sites say wait a few days - still no AF and if I test first thing tomorrow it'll be better than mid-morning, as I did today.

Weirdly, although I told DH immediately last time (at 5am on a Sunday!) I feel like keeping this one all to myself for now. So wanted to test on a day off - tomorrow is such a day, so here's hoping it's all good signs!

I didn't update it as thought would wait til your BFP tomorrow!!

Hello all. I have been stalking lurking for the past month and so feel like I know you all a bit but I didn't join as was feeling a bit delicate after my BFN last month.

I was very excited and shocked to get a BFP yesterday (and today) so just wanted to come and say hello and hope to see some of you on the August AN thread!
