The August Bus departs tomorrow....

Come and join me if you are TTC an August baby [hgrin]

This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

Sorry to hear we've lost more peeps to AF

Good luck tomorrow KLou111

myweeangel · 28/11/2010 21:32

Thanks Klou111, may just do that!
Good luck, keeping fingers crossed for you!

sillybillymummy · 28/11/2010 22:14

klou11 thanks for sharing that! just the sort of thing my Dh would say.

Having trouble keeping up with the bus

Sorry to those leaving, maybe joining you this week.

Don't think i should waste a test, i don't think i'm pg, will try and wwait, if i don't get Af by wed, i will test

lindy100 · 29/11/2010 07:45

Good luck klou!

Is it silly to have already convinced myself I'm probably pg? It was so easy last time (or so luckily coincidental that we managed to conceive at the right time having only DTD twice...) - four friends have had babies in the past week - maybe I'm just getting baby vibes (or jealousy) because of that...

fel1x · 29/11/2010 08:59

We are def due some BFPs here - very low on them at the moment!!

I am on the waiting bit now I think! DH left this morning for a week away and when he is back it is only a few days till my AF is due, so am just hoping that what weve been doing the last couple of weeks has worked!!

Lots of snow here!!

Jilko · 29/11/2010 09:58

Def low on the BFPs here. I am on CD31 out of a 30-35 day cycle, not sure as just came off the implant last month Confused
Still no AF, so trying to be positive, although it's only the first month, I'm v impatient!! I've been testing the last couple of days and it's still BFN which is disappointing, but with DD I was getting BFN til quite late too... [hmmm]

Good luck to all those testing this week, we are due for a change of luck soon!

ravenlocks · 29/11/2010 12:37

Good luck testers!

I have just bought some Zinc for DH. Not tried that before, and he is willing to give that a go. Optimistically just bought one months supply. Also order TCOYF from Amazon at the weekend. I hadn't bought it before as assumed all the useful nuggets of info have been passed on through the various talk threads but going to read up and see if I have missed anything.

KLou111 · 29/11/2010 13:01

BFN gutted :(
Will test tomorrow and every day if AF doesn't get me

mslk · 29/11/2010 13:19

fingers crossed it was just too early Klou111

GetDownYouWillFall · 29/11/2010 13:30

Oh no KLou sorry you got a BFN Sad however, it's not all over till AF arrives. I read somewhere that implantation can vary from as early as 5DPO to as late as 12 DPO. If you have a very late implantation, then I think it takes longer to get a positive test. Also symptoms.

queenrollo · 29/11/2010 15:17

someone slap me with a wet fish.

6po here (i think) and i have creamy CM, and the sides of my boobs are feeling a little bit tender. Not very tender, but every now and then i think 'ouch'
I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up, it's soul destroying when you crash back to earth with a BFN.

KnitterNotTwitter · 29/11/2010 15:32

Hey. Just reporting in. DH and I did plenty of SWI over the weekend so now it's just two weeks with fingers crossed.... Sorry to hear about the BFN's :(

100years · 29/11/2010 16:29

Just checking in. AF not started fully yet, I'm spotting now, so I reckon it's only a day or two, will stay till it gets me, I still reckon it's AF coming as opposed to implantation bleeding.

Feeling bleeding awful today, have the lurgy proper :( Stayed on settee under blanket today, and going to have a little snooze in a minute.

OP posts:
ravenlocks · 29/11/2010 17:06

Although nothing wrong with symp spotting at 6DPO, we all do it. I think it is really cruel of mother nature to have AF and pg symptoms so similar. We could do with something really unambiguous and obvious couldn't we at 1 DPO??

Sorry Klou and 100years, hope it turns around for you and AF doesn't ever arrive.

I am on CD6, shaking AF off and planning my next bikini wax to tie in with SWI time, as well as praying for even more snow so that I don't have to traverse the country with work and leave DH for more than a 12 hour period over SWI time.

Also, is it wrong to be planning the scenario of how and when I will annouce my pg to my parents over Xmas when I haven't even ovulated? Erm, yes, where is that wet fish?! Blush

Sorry to hear that Klou and 100years - Hoping you're both just too early to tell.

Pass round that fish, I've been imagining the same scenarios Raven - the folks will instantly notice if I haven't got a drink in my hand at Xmas, that's for sure! Given that it's the first month trying though, I think I need a good wet fish round the chops Hmm.

I'm on cd 15 and not seeing DH now until Friday, so hoping like crazy that all the SWI of the last weeks has done the trick and works for us. Still have the ovulation pains - that's well over 24 hours now!

Thanks for all the updates on progress, it's really useful and fingers tightly crossed for everyone.

RugbyWidow7 · 29/11/2010 17:25

x-posted with Whywait, sorry to hear you're moving on. May well see you there.

GetDownYouWillFall · 29/11/2010 18:15

Sorry to hear that WhyWait

We're not doing too well so far on this bus, are we?

kat2504 · 29/11/2010 18:25

someone slap me for testing in the afternoon at 9dpo! foolish waste of a test, even if it's only an internet cheapie. Oh well. It is early after all. Very few symptoms, probably imaginary ones.
This thread is short of BFPs so I hope to hear of one very soon, good luck to those at the top of the list.

myweeangel · 29/11/2010 18:45

Sorry KLou - me too... did test at 5pm! :(
Better luck later in week.

queenrollo · 29/11/2010 18:59

i ran DP a bath and asked him to leave the water in for me. Wanted to have an early bath and get into PJ's then snuggle on the sofa for the evening. So what did he do? yes he pulled the sodding plug out and then came in all dopey, with the 'sorry i forgot'......

So now i have to wait for the water to heat up again and by the time we've had dinner i probably won't get near the bath til half eight/nine and then it'll be too late to settle down to watch a film.

I wanted to relax this evening and now i feel all on edge and stressed.

Why are some men so bloody self-centred all the time. I knew i should have bloody well got in the bath first.

I need a gin......

ravenlocks · 29/11/2010 19:11

Oh no, a colleague of mine called in to say she is miscarrying (9 wks), had it confirmed via a scan this morning. Feel so sad for her. I knew she was pg, not sure if anyone else does. Office is mainly men. Any advice on what I should and shouldn't say to her when she comes back in? Don't want to avoid it and look uncaring, or upset her by talking about it or asking her questions.

queenrollo · 29/11/2010 19:48

oh ravenlocks that is sad.

will be thinking of your colleague. not been through it myself so no words of wisdom i'm afraid.
