Gross Friday night question coming up

So DP were just SWIing and there was alot of ahem, juices (sorry Blush) coming from me. My first words post SWI were "Oh my god, I think I've wee'd!" DP finds this hysterical by the way. Have "investigated" the ominous and massive wet patch it left behind and doesn't seem to be wee, so my question is....What the hell is it and has anyone else had this before?? Hmm

Sorry all Grin

Hello everyone. I'm not good with the acronyms, but I am very excited to have bought some folic acid today. Makes it seem real.

I don't think we'll have much luck this month as dh is away for a week just when he needs to be here.

I am impatient as have been waiting a loooong time for af to return after birth of ds.

fatheadsgirl · 13/09/2010 21:31

Oh and another gross question, whilst I'm at it.....
DP has joined in on the crazy symptom spotting

evening all.

LOL Fatheadsgirl at the "juices" and "ominous wet patch"! Sounds like you are just ovulating and "enjoying" SWIing Wink

update re my possible shingles: GP is still unsure. I have a rash on my arm but it looks more like an allergic rash (have multiple contact allergies) although this doesn't explain the pain. I have all the signs of shingles but not the rash. Am taking the amitriptaline (sp?) which is ok to take when pregnant and it does help the pain a bit but when it wears off I'm in agony.

Got a positive on the OPK Saturday (day 14). Decided to try using OPK since I only have one ovary since having major surgery when pregnant with DS1 and although have had DS2 since, was just checking my one lovely right ovary was still doing its job. Managed to DTD saturday and sunday but was an effort for both of us. Bless DH - he's been very understanding as I slip off my sling and tell hiim to get on with it Grin

Now the 2WW begins! Have just realised that day 28 (when I can allow myself to test if AF hasnt arrived) is the day that DS1 goes in for grommets and his adenoids to be removed. Might have to allow myself to test on day 27 instead Wink

GoodVibrations · 13/09/2010 22:07

Milanomum I need to get some pre-seed! And I never realised that normal lubricant & saliva killed sperm, although it didn't stop me getting pregnant last time and both of them were used pretty much every time!!!

fatheadsgirl ok you win bizarre symptom of the month award. Metallic tasting ladybits!!!

I now have a random symptom. Just noticed that a broken vein on my face is really prominent. This happened last time I was pregnant due to increased bloodflow, and lasted until a few months after I gave birth when it faded again. DH noticed it yesterday aswell but didn't tell me as he thought I would get over excited (which I did). I have been really stressed though so could be increased blood pressure from that. Ho hum.

GoodVibrations · 13/09/2010 22:13

fled what a nightmare, are the docs doing more investigations? Hope they find out what's wrong soon

Wombat33 · 14/09/2010 10:43

Oh queenrollo - clotted cream!! You are my new hero - yummy!!!

Hello everyone - nothing much to report here, started temoping, opk-ing and SWI-ing again.

jigglebum · 14/09/2010 10:45

Morning everyone. Thanks for the stats update. Certainly learning lots on here!

Had a bad night with DS1 last night because he was ill. He is normally such an excellent sleeper that I had forgotten what it is like to get up in the night. DH and I need our sleep and as DH stomped off to work late and tired this morning it made me wonder how we would cope with two, if it does ever happen!

Hope those of you symptom spotting get your wishes this month!

MoogHasNoBrain · 14/09/2010 15:25

Hi everyone - can I join please?

I am entering my 7th month TTC - can't believe it's taking so long - I was lucky enough to conceive in the first month with my DD but that was 7 years ago... much older now!

My stats are:

You can blame the messed up stats on the Yank. I think I updated the list late at night which would have been tomorrow for you lot... Blush I'm off a day, but I'm letting FF boss me around this month in an attempt to save my sanity.

Moog Welcome on board the bus; it certainly helps to have company whilst going insane waiting.

ravenlocks · 14/09/2010 19:24

Hi everyone,

Why has mumsnet changed so the thread isn't split into pages anymore?! V annoying.

Anyhoo...

Weekend of SWI was good and lots of fun, now we are back to the working week we are back to what goodvibrations accurately described as poking with intent (PWI)!

However not so impressed that I haven't had a positive OPK yet. This is my third cycle with them, on C1 got +ve on CD13 and CD14 and on C2 got +ve on CD14 and CD15. Here I am C3 on CD15 (day FF predicted I would ovulate) and nada! Am trying very hard to not jump to all sorts of conclusions that I am now somehow infertile and to hope a) OPK missed it and I will get a temp spike tomorrow or b) get a OPK + ve tomorrow.

ravenlocks · 14/09/2010 19:24

Ooh, the page split is back - fab Smile

GoodVibrations · 14/09/2010 20:13

BFP BFP BFP BFP BFP BFP BFP!!!!!!!!!!

I kid you not. I am so excited!!! Although a bit worried as I was so stressed over the weekend about work (literally not able to eat and did not sleep at all on Saturday night, never felt that bad before in my life). And I also ate goats cheese last night Confused. Anyhow, must focus on the the positive which is BFP BFP BFP!

And, weirdly, the other test I did which was negative is now showing positive aswell Hmm I'd not thrown it away is that gross?

I wasn't planning to test until weekend (honest) but woke up feeling really sick and heaving a lot, exactly like last time I was pregnant.

Well, I estimate my due date around 25 May so technically I should be on the May bus but I like this bus so can I stay please Grin

Raven I've got my fingers crossed for your +ve OPK tomorrow

milanomum · 14/09/2010 20:34

Congratulations Goodvibrations!!! Send some of those vibes this way please :o

queenrollo · 14/09/2010 20:54

yay!! Goodvibrations really fantastic news

somehow finding out one of us is PG makes me happy, but when it's friends or family i want to cry with despair.

Well no news here......having a tough time emotionally with some stuff and so spent most of the morning crying, which is partly hormonal i think but i have no idea whether it's because i'm PG or just in the PMT build up......

queenrollo · 14/09/2010 20:57

I meant to say don't worry about the goats cheese or stress. When i fell pregnant with DS i was stressed with building up to the busiest time at work (self-employed at the time) and spent the weekend before i got a BFP getting well and truly hammered on gin and falling into bed at 3am and up at 7 for work.

fledtoscotland · 14/09/2010 21:00

Congratulations Goodvibrations.

Only 10 days til I can POAS! Been to costco today and got 2kg tub of haribo

queenrollo · 14/09/2010 21:06

oh i'm being bad drinking vino even though i'm on the 2WW.......only half a glass though. Have no capacity for drinking since becoming a mother.

GoodVibrations · 14/09/2010 21:15

Thanks :)

Ladies have faith in your mad symptom spotting, they may not be so mad after all.

And good luck to everyone else :)

GoodVibrations · 14/09/2010 21:17

Queenrollo sorry you're having a tough time, anything we can do to help?

8rubberduckies · 14/09/2010 21:18

Hurray goodvibrations!!!! Great news!!!! I second queenrollo on the sentiment about being seething about pg in RL but chuffed to bits on here. Short post tonight as am knackered [waves to all, rolls up jumper and puts it on bus window to use as very uncomfortable pillow]. Good night.

ravenlocks · 14/09/2010 21:21

Wow wonderful news GV!!!!!

Isn't that a 100% success rate on grads on this bus so far?? Here's hoping it continues to be lucky!

Grin
queenrollo · 14/09/2010 21:44

I'm ok thanks Goodvibrations - always a bit sad this time of year as 5 years ago i was getting used to life as the mum of a newborn and at the same time my beloved Gran was dying, will be 5 years on Monday since she died. It just feels a bit odd that i can look back and remember it so vividly. Other fanily stuff going on too, and i am well used to it but for some reason at the moment my usual stoicism about it has failed me.
Fortunately i have a wonderful DP to hug me and tell me things will be ok.

MrsP81 · 14/09/2010 22:21

Congratulations goodvibrations! I also agree about being properly happy for people on here but secretly upset about people in real life.

Hugs to queenrollo, glad that you have a lovely DP to look after you.

I have been ill for the last few days with a stomach bug/something I ate so I need to quickly build up some energy now for SWI. I feel very excited about this month as its my first whole cycle of being on mumsnet so I get to share with you lovely ladies. :o
