she has a point! x

Xena · 31/08/2005 09:43

Oh help guys, I feel so tearfull. I so want this baby. I got a house (that despretly needs cleaning) full of children and I want to sit still and not do anything to give this bean the best chance

Diddle · 31/08/2005 09:56

xena - there is no reason why you can't have a lazy day and sit still, put some toys over the floor and leave them to it. But doing normal day t day things won't harm your little bean. It will be fine, just take it all slowly, who cares if the house is a mess, it can wait.

OP posts:
peepee · 31/08/2005 10:01

Let the house stay messy. Sit down and put your feet up. It can be cleaned another time.
What I do is I go and sit in the tidiest room and forget about house work. I have even sat in the loo for ages.. because it was the cleanest room. Go and lie down and shut your eyes. When they are closed u can imagine yourself a beautiful tidy house.

PS send the kids into the garden if you have one and if their ages allow them to be unsupervised for a while!

GOOD LUCK......... It's a beautiful day, enjoy it. x

Lottielou · 31/08/2005 10:02

Oh Xena - Sorry your feeling low today It must be so hard huni having a house full and all you want to do is sit as quiet as a mouse! But surely u can sit still, well for a little while anyway, try letting the kids amuse themselves. This is your turn to have a healthy pregnancy huni, I can just feel that it is! ( dont ask me how - i just get feelings ) The best way in my opinion is to try and carry on with your daily routine, without obviously any strenuos activity! It wont harm you beanie! I know u feel like wrapping yourself up in cotton wool for over 12 weeks but it's not going to do u any favours hun, apart from send you round the bend and get very warm and sweaty! You have a bean, smile [smail] about your bean and nurture it, it's yours nothing you do is going to take that away!
Oh and screw the house work!!! Go make yourslef a cuppa and dunk some biccies in it!BIG HUGS XXXXX

HumphreysCorner · 31/08/2005 10:03

Morning ladies

Xena-the house can wait-you just concentrate on the children and beanie will look after him/herself I'm sure. ((xx))

According to my I am now on CD5 but still bleeding heavily-much heavier than my last AF-the 1st after the MC so very strange. Perhaps I am getting really cleaned out. Have primed DH for Thursday/Friday onwards so filming starts soon. Just getting my director's chair out-lol!

Have another migraine of course. Had them every month since I was 19 (now 35) but after DD they weren't so bad and regular. Since the MC they have returned to form so really miffed off. Have to get PG now just to have a break from them!

Hugs to you all and we will have none of that silly nonsense today.

Byee for now
xx

Lottielou · 31/08/2005 10:03

Smile and release some of those dolphins!!!!!

Xena · 31/08/2005 10:22

Thanks guys its good to know that I have you all to turn too.

strike1 · 31/08/2005 10:31

Morning all

You grab all the rest you can Xena. It's lovely and Sunny here, why not go out, take the little ones to the park and sit in the sun (hope it's sunny where you are, otherwise....sorry )

Well, I was up an down to the loo twice last night and I never normally go at all. I knew all this ignoring symptoms and trying to forget about it wouldn't work when I got towards the end of the month. Diddle and Lottie you guys are so strong coping with these long cycles. It's driving me mad, so I tested this morning and BFN or course considering I only cd26 of 35.

Hope everyone has a super fluffy sunny day

baggybear · 31/08/2005 10:34

Ahhhhhhh...

Hello all! Hope your are enjoying the lovely weather. At last a little bit of summer.

Just read "THAT" thread (don't want to start anything...) and I'm worn out. Think I need to lie down now phew!

Xena - don't worry bout house work. I did far too much at the beginning of my lost pregnancy, and I'm convinced that contributed to M/C (although rationally I know it didn't IYSWIM)
So, I say stuff the housework and take care of that luver-lee beanie XXXXXX

Well, I'm off now to buy school shoes and shirts for DS's 1&2. Oh joy!! Got to leave DS3 with mother as he has a sickness bug and don't want him vomming in M&S!!

Hope you all have a nice day. XXXX{{{{{HUGS}}}}XXXX to you all

Lottielou · 31/08/2005 10:44

Strike - Believe me i dont have strong days all the time. Y'day monring i had a very low day, i was looking on baby website, baby names, maternity clothes - i completely broke all my rules Luckily Diddle convinced me to stop and close all the windows donw, i soon realised what i was doing! lol, i made myself laugh, cry, and get angry at myself. So beneath my loopy exterior i am slowly going nuts! These loooonnnggggg cycles are doing my head in but hey i have a feeling AF will show and then i can get back to CD1 and forget how long the next cycle is going to be!
LOL, at you testing so early!
How are you today? xx loved the super fluufy day thing !!! lol

Counldn't see anything Xena, am I doing it wrong?

Lottie, I start the month as a normal, not boverd kind of person and end the month an utter maniac! But my DH loves it...no really he said so

I love the spreading of fluffyness, I think it should be made mumsnet law....maybe I'll go and mention it.......hmmmmm second thoughts

Quiet day in the office so think I'll go and run about in my hamster wheel (the gym)

strike1 · 31/08/2005 10:53

Ahhhhh, they're lovely, butter wouldn't melt....

Very pretty gang you have there.

Xena · 31/08/2005 10:55

Thanks, I love there new photos I picked them up this morning. we try to get some professional ones down each year. DS looked really arkward in last years but he seems much happier this year. DD2 is such a monster she had been slapping DD1 before that shot and run off the frame after.

Lottielou · 31/08/2005 11:10

Strike - Yeah my DP loves it too lol
Glad you put ur gym is your hamster wheel as i had visions of you being in an office in a supersized red hamster wheel! Oh dear, there goes my imagination! lol
Xena - It's a very good idea getting professional ones done, something to tressure! lol at DD2 slapping! Hee hee! Somet i wud've done as a kid! No i was a good lil' girl.... honest!
