Welcome Louise. So sorry about your loss

Your in the right place as I think this may be turning into a lucky thread.........

auntynon · 29/08/2005 21:59

Congrats Cori, this feels like it is turning into a lucky thread.

Welcome Louise, sorry you have had to join us.

I've got my first AF since my M/c, I posted back on Tues when I first thought it had arrived but that just turned out to be browny D/C until Sat when it changed to proper bleeding (sorry if TMI). Would you count CD1 as Tue or Sat? I'm thinking Sat, want to work out BD days.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, I've been working the whole time, bank hols are big in the world of bathrooms!!

Tabs · 29/08/2005 22:16

Wow Xena - congrats .
So much for not trying anymore eh

Diddle · 30/08/2005 07:17

Welcome LousieT - so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, hope you manage to relax at centre parks and take it easy.

Xena - huge congratulations to you, thats brilliant news. thought you migth conceive now you're not thinking about it as much. excellent news.!!!!!!

Baggybear, welcome back, hope you had a good time on your hols.

Maddyd - I'm sure lottie won't mind me saying that we'd love to make a video with you two I'm ok thanks, i tested yesterday and still got a BFN, not sign of AF yet, think she's going to be a week late again and ruin my holiday next week. Run out of tests now, and really don;t fancy buying any more. I guess if i haven't come on by Saturday i might do another, but i really, honestly (not putting a brave face on) don't expect a positive, i honestly think AF is on her way.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Thanks guys, I think its due early May about the 5th? I feel so sick though i'm not sure if that is made worse by nerves, I'd been feeling sick for a few days before it dawned on me I might be pg (thats how much I'd relaxed) Funnily enough we' talked last week about DH having the snip, so as to put a full stop IYKWIM. We won't be telling the DC's if everything works out until I can't hide it. I think I will be around 20 wks at christmas it would be good to hold out until then. Esp as DS was telling his friend he wanted a brother for christmas. It would be good if I could hold until the 2nd scan and beable to tell him whether it was a brother or another sister straight away.

Diddle · 30/08/2005 08:14

Thats briliant Xena, good idea about not telling the kids yet. I don't blame you. You just try and enjoy the next few weeks and stay positive, there is no reason why the pregnancy won't be successful . Thinking of you.

Many Many Congraulations. What a great story doing it where you did. You must be so pleased. Well done and take care xxxxxxxxxx

Diddle · 30/08/2005 08:47

How are you maddyd??? How long is it before you can get back to it??

OP posts:
Xena · 30/08/2005 08:54

I feel so tearfull and worried. How am I going to get through the next few weeks. I'm not sure whether to except the early 8wk scan our hospital allows you if you have m/c'd before as it happened after that last time and I'd had the 8wks scan and saw the heartbeat and it still went.

Xena · 30/08/2005 08:57

Maddy Its better than the toilets at green park tube station like with DS

cori · 30/08/2005 09:08

Hi Xena.
I know, I think I will take the 8 week scan if its offered to me. I know doesn?t mean in the long run everything will work out, but I couldn?t wait until 12 weeks to see if it is really there and viable. When I reach10/12 weeks though (assuming I do) I am going to hire/buy a doppler so I can hear the heart beat when I want to.

Xena · 30/08/2005 09:15

I hadn't thought of that cori. I think that I would be permantly attached to it. Can you hear the h/b from 12wks?

Diddle · 30/08/2005 09:16

Oh Xena - i think it is totally normal for you to feel that way, I remember with my first pg, I was over the moon, and felt pregnant, and took it easy, and felt bloated and full all the time, then with the 2nd I didn't let myself believe it, and I carried on as normal, and felt the same (i'm sure its psychological). Its natural to be worried and unsure about it.
I think if it was me, I would be very worried about the scan, but i would definitly have it done, I don't think i could not have it.
Of course the choice is yours, but i think i'd need that re-assurance, even if you're only reassured for a few days. It might be worth you hiring a doppler too. they have them on ebay for sale, much cheaper than buying a new one. worht looking into.
There really is no reason why this pregnancy won't be successful.

OP posts:
cori · 30/08/2005 09:18

I actually think you can hear the heartbeat from as early as 10 weeks if you know what your doing.
Could be permantly attached to it myself, but better than having to wait weeks for the antenatal appointment to come around.

I think Tabs has one.

Lottielou · 30/08/2005 09:56

Xena - a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Hun! Thats fab news!

Lottielou · 30/08/2005 10:01

Morning All!
How is everyone this morning! Cant believe it's Tuesday already, where has the bank holiday gone? Tut Tut!
Maddyd - As Diddle has put, would love to be in your video! Ha ha
Diddle - Morning Huni! Hope your well!? All these threads you have started have sure had a load of luck brough to them! A suggestion for the part of the name of a thread that will have to be started in Oct regardless of where we are at... (i know that it is a while off but u know what i mean) It DEFINATELY needs to have October in the tittle hun! I was gonna put somet really witty but my mind has just gone blank! You know exactly what i mean tho right! LOL xxxx

Diddle · 30/08/2005 10:07

lottielou - you're bonkers. yes i know what you mean, you nutter.
and for everyone elses benefit, Lottie and I are convinced that we will conceive in October, I read my stars a few months ago and they said i would be pregnant in October, which really spooked me, as i never read my stars and when i used to it never ever mentioned pregnancy.
Then lottie predicted we may get pregnant in october before i told her the story about my horoscopes, so we have frieked each other out and now believe that it must be true. hope that makes sense.

OP posts:
Lottielou · 30/08/2005 10:14

Hope all is well with everyone!? xx

Diddle

Have been popping over every now and then - thinking of you, sending you all good luck thoughts I can think of!!

Enthusia Nov thread (again)

strike1 · 30/08/2005 13:25

Afternoon. I'm sitting here desperatly trying to ignore the fact that I feel grumpy and sick. Trying not to think it could be pg or af symptoms as it way to early for either with my long cycle. I'll be cd 28 on friday but as last month I was 35 I can't even think about testing then. Bored of waiting.

Did anyone see that program on 4 last night, the truth about female desire.......V interesting!?

Diddle · 30/08/2005 14:06

mojomummy - lets hope that magic is working, fingers crossed.

Enthusia - thanks for the kind words, very nice to know i'm not forgotten.

Strike1 - I wonder if you are pregnant, sounds too early to test though.
sorry didn't see the programme, wish i had though.
