baggybear · 03/09/2005 14:49

Um, I don't really know how to word this, especially after I've been feeling so much chirpier lately...

After a long a nd very tearful chat with my DH, I've decided to quit mumsnet and this thread.

DH is not sure about having another baby and we have decided to rethink. So, I won't be posting here anymore.

Sorry, I hope you understand. You have all been a great comfort to me over the last few weeks. And I wish all of you all the luck in the world. I hope you all get what you so deservedly want.

Love to all of you XXXXXXXXXXXXX

ps will lurk for a litle while to see your replies xx

baggybear · 03/09/2005 15:04

BTW there is another reason

baggybear · 03/09/2005 15:07

Sorry

chat thread

Diddle · 03/09/2005 15:16

baggybear - sorry to hear you're leaving us, couldn't you just re-invent yourself as someone else? i guess that would defeat the object of talking about what you want though. I don't want you to go .
But i understand your reasons, and if you're having a break from ttc then you might find, your little baby will appear when you least expect it. I often wonder if we should have a break from it, then maybe it will just happen. who knows what the future holds.

If you ever want a chat with us please come back, of feel free to CAT me, or if you have msn then we can chat on there. Your miscarriage is so recent and it will take a whiel to get over, if you ever need support, you know where i am, and i'm sure everyone of us would offer the same support.

we'll miss you

Oh baggybear-I can't believe you are leaving us so soon. Have managed to find your other thread when the link didn't work.

Purlease come back soon with a different name if that helps. I would be upset if I thought someone knew me but you all seem to live far away.

(((((((xxxxxxxxxxxx))))))))

Diddle · 03/09/2005 15:19

I agree, i would be upset if someone knew me too, and didn't mention it to me. couldn't you confron tthis person baggy, you must have an idea who it is.

OP posts:
baggybear · 03/09/2005 15:25

Know who it is but surely they would just deny it! If they are remaining anon on here then they would not want to own up. Makes me sad

Got to go now, DH wants us to have a bit of time together WIll lurk later

I really am grateful to you all. You are all fab {{{{HUGS}}}}

Diddle · 03/09/2005 15:26

spub · 03/09/2005 19:05

Hi gang,
Just back from hols so have no idea how things are with you all. Anyone able to give me a quick update?
No luck for me this month, I'm afraid. AF arrived the day after my birthday....
Also have now been battling thrush from hell for 6 weeks. May need to think about the very scary exclusion diet soon......
Hope you are all doing ok.

HellKat · 04/09/2005 09:09

Welcome back Spub!
Poor you! Have you tried the old fashioned, no fail method? Put some natural live yoghurt (has to be live as contains the right bacteria) on a tampon and pop it in for an hour or so. Supposed to be great.
Well there's been some bfp's! Cori and Xena.

HumphreysCorner · 04/09/2005 21:19

AF GONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Migraine GONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

BD 'R' Us

xx

LouiseT · 04/09/2005 21:45

How long did it take for your AF to visit following your mc? I had an early one (at 5 wks) just the other week. Should I leave it until it's come to BD or can we have a go??

What pg tests do you use? Where from? I've used the cheapo ones from Wilkinsons but they're far too fiddly, maybe I'll be better at them next time. Also used the Predictor (2 for £10), why do people pay £15 or more for a digital one???

HumphreysCorner · 04/09/2005 22:03

My AF arrived 7.5 weeks after my MC (approx 5.5 weeks after the bleeding stopped-I MC at 12 weeks-baby stopped growing at 6 weeks) but contrary to what the EPU said about waiting for 1 AF we didn't but didn't get PG anyway. Depends what you read really but I just couldn't bear to wait and it helped my sanity by thinking we were 'trying'again. My mum suggested waiting a 'good' year-WHAT?????????????????

We all use the wee sticks available on Ebay-you can get 3,5,10 or more for only a few pounds and they are very reliable. I bought a Clear Blue ordinary PG test off there for a couple of pounds as I like to back up the wee sticks with the big blue cross(when it happens). Wouldn't pay for a Digital as they are too expensive and you can't keep the result like you can with the ordinary ones.

I have spent hours looking at www.peeonastick.com as she tells you all about those NASTY evaporation lines and reviews various tests. Have a look sometime.

Your AF will arrive soon as sure as eggs are eggs

Get stocking up on wee sticks as I'm sure you'll soon become addicted to them like I did when I joined this thread-never heard of them before that.

Take care
((xx))

auntynon · 04/09/2005 22:09

Been doing alot of lurking. 1st AF since MC has gone, planning some BD.

Bye Baggybear, you sounded like a right nutter and made me laugh.

Going to hospital on wed to get a breast lump checked out. It has been there for a year but has not got any bigger, doesn't hurt. Discovered it when I stopped BF dd and thought it might just be something to do with that and that it would go away. Forgot about it until recently and found it is still there, my gut feeling is that it is nothing, GP didn't seem too concerned. dh is worried, I'm expecting a clear result and want to get on with TTC.Feel positive, hope I'm not being nieave. (can't spell)

CD 8

auntynon · 04/09/2005 22:16

Louise my AF took exactly 28 days after my MC which is what my cycle was before, it can take alot longer, I think I was lucky. My GP said there is no set or reccommended time to wait before TTC after a MC other than to feel well physically and emotionally. I had a spontaneous MC at 8 weeks.

auntynon · 04/09/2005 22:21

HC, what CD are you?

HellKat · 05/09/2005 07:38

Morning all.
HC- Yay!!!! Bd all the way then!
Louise- Welcome! Personal opinion here, I've always used the cheapy tests (wilkinsons, poundland etc) and all been accurate. Cheap too!
Aunty- Good luck with the lump hun. If you check out the previous thread to this one, you'll see that a few weeks back I had the same thing. Had biopsy and results were all clear. Any questions feel free to ask.

Lottielou · 05/09/2005 09:28
