It's been asked if we can post winners' details on the site and there are a lot of winners announced today, so without further ado: -
Hearty congratulations to Blueberrypancake - you've won a Kanzi Home chandelier

Fabulous felicitations to MrsWeasley and FilthyMindedVixen - you've won a place for your child on the Hamley's Board of Children

Thanks also to all of you who completed our surveys this summer and in particular, well done to lummox and sammac who've both won Kombi Karts for filling in the marketing survey.

And last but not least, congratultions also go to snowcat who's won some fab Neal's Yard goodies for completing the Soil Association survey.

If you're not one of this week's lucky winners, don't be disheartened, there are some brilliant competitions coming up, and we'll even widen the entry criteria too.

Thanks
MNHQ

Me neither, seemingly.

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 10:22

Try being Comps manager, I watch everyone else win

Anyways Humphreys, I had one offer, but I had to turn it down as it simply wouldn't work, i've mailed you about it!

Fennel · 19/12/2008 10:43

hi Alexia

I am getting a little concerned, I won a ds lite on 28 Nov and nothing has arrived yet. I did email you but no reply.

Is it likely to come, and if so will it be before Christmas?

thanks

Saturn74 · 19/12/2008 12:12

I didn't get your email, Alexia.
Pls could you resend it?

Does it have the title 'Look At What You Could Have Won!', that necessitates it to be read in a Jim Bowenesque voice?

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 12:42

Hi Fennel

I'm so sorry your prize hasn't arrived, i will chase again right now!

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 19/12/2008 12:44

My game isn't here either but I'm too polite to say so.

Fennel · 19/12/2008 12:44

Thanks Alexia

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 13:02

No problem guys, I've re-sent your details over and asked ever so nicely if they could send before Christmas!

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 13:03

LMAO @ Humphreys!

i'll send another email to you, I don't know what happened to the one this morning...

pucca · 19/12/2008 13:47

So who won the Hamleys vouchers? nothing on home page and nothing here, i thought it was supposed to be announced today.

Miaou · 19/12/2008 15:09

Sorry to give you more work Alexia, but I won the Ladybird competition eons ago and have still never heard from them. I know you have chased them once already for me but they've not come back to me.

WalkinginWaynettaWonderland · 19/12/2008 15:15

Alexia, just so's you know. If I was so lucky as to ever win anything on MN though I am not holding my breath, I would never hassle you like these ingrates are ----

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 21:24

Hi Miaou would you be s kind as to email me your details again? [email protected] and i'll get in touch with Ladybirds to chase

many thanks

AlexiaMumsnet · 19/12/2008 21:48

Hi WalkinginWaynettaWonderland - that's so sweet, i'm getting abuse about it on another thread

and remember you got to enter to be in with a chance! so remember to check out our comps page each week

Miaou · 19/12/2008 23:28

I don't think I'm being an ingrate, WalkinginaWaynettaWonderland. I won a prize, my kids are excited about it, and disappointed that nothing has materialised. I could have let it go, admittedly, but tbh I think that's as disingenuous to Mumsnet as it is to me - they're going to think that Ladybird have upheld their end of the bargain, unless I tell them otherwise.

And I'm sorry if you find that offensive, I can't imagine why you would.

alexia, thank you. I will email you in the morning.

twitteringbirds · 19/12/2008 23:31

Miaou, you've nothing to be sorry for - the people who said they'd give a prize were perfectly happy to take the publicity - they should honour the prize.

Alexia, don't take it personally. Surely you want people to get their prizes? That's rhetorical - I know you must do!

GoodWilfToAllMN · 20/12/2008 11:40

...ahem?

Ponders · 20/12/2008 13:06

alexia, I just saw your post addressed to me on the DS thread - sorry to confuse you, I am not waiting for a prize myself (I have never won one )

I just know of a few individuals who have been left in limbo and didn't like to keep nagging you about it, and I thought that was a bit off - IMO MN should be following up & making sure people have received the prizes they were told they had won, not leaving it up to them to chase the donors (& eventually giving up because it doesn't seem worth the effort)

AlexiaMumsnet · 20/12/2008 21:10

I'm not offended! I'm very sorry that winners are having to wait more than a few days for the prizes, but we do everything we can to ensure that they do arrive without any problems.

We don't actually keep the prizes at MNHQ and when chasing we are informed that they will be dispatched within a week etc but our hosts are often chasing another department etc so it can be a bit slow!!

Apologies to anyone who has/or is waiting for their prize to arrive

AlexiaMumsnet · 20/12/2008 21:19

actually whilst i'm here ladybird winners/anyone waiting for their prize please email me at [email protected]

thank you
