glad you enjoyed it incywincy. We live around 4/5 hours away from London so to late for us to go (dh away for wkd) BUT would love to have taken dd. She is in luurrrvve with him! Esp loves higgeldy house .

He is a marvelous chap imo. DH read his history recently..he's done well to get where he is now...taught himself sign language etc.

Not being defensive, honest guv, but just to clarify following princessshhhh's post - we didn't ask for the competition details to be collected early - because of the quick turnaround needed we had left the collecting of entrants and therefore the choosing of winners to the PR company. We had no idea that they would decide to end the competition earlier than stated in the t and c's.

Anyway glad you had a good time incywincy and hope some of you who were disappointed manage to make it to the weekend readings.

I have had an apology from them...

"Thank you for your email regarding the In the Night Garden competition we recently ran on Mumsnet.

We had two web-based comps running for In the Night Garden, both with different closing times, one at 12noon and one at 5pm. There was a genuine clerical error and the Mumsnet entries were drawn at 12noon, rather than the stated time of 5pm."

She also said that there were only 2 entries recieved after 12 noon and she will no doubt be contacting that other person.

I did link the thread with other peoples views on.

Well I'm sure my entry went in after 12 too and I haven't heard anything from them, but hey ho such is life and all that

thats interesting mom..thing is we really have no way of checking so they have us there...

i can and did check princesssshhh. If you have a sent folder it should be there with a timestamp on.

I was trying to say that we just have to trust what they are saying about the competition closing early and also that the ones who entered after the closing time will be contacted iykwim...

of the actual winners has anyone recieved the bag of toys yet my ds birthday is soon and was planning giving them to him then

I entered at 13:43....i have just sent off an e-mail of complaint!!

DS3 got his In The Night Garden loot this morning - he thinks it's fab! He was such a happy little bunny when I left for work, although getting cross with the Ninky Nonk because the carriages come apart really easily - I think I'll have to get DS1 to customise the couplings with modelling clay!

hi recieved itng toys this morning my ds is chuffed to bits keeps taking the soft toys everywhere, was going to put them away for his birthday but when postie came this morning he set of the talking igglepiggle just as my ds came to the door, to ask me what it was as it had given him a fright thankyou so much mnhq you have made ds day or year even

They are lovely toys, aren't they .

It was DS3's birthday last week and we didn't get him that much as he is quite hard to buy things for (he is autistic) but this was much more fun for him than his actual birthday!

Oh hooray. We like making people's day.

Just got ours they are fab, ds1 and ds2 both over the moon.
