He didn’t have the parts
He didn’t know what’s going on

He’s going try raise as emergency as wheel could fall off anytime. Like I’ve saying all along and last guy said no it be fine.
He told office what parts I need.

The same parts that told me 9th Aug they had ordered and only came in this Monday !
Waiting see if can fit me in as emergency today. But if someone has chair complete stop they obvious have go those first.

Not at all surprised in the slightest! He said I should complain.. what they going do gift wrapping me next new wheel?

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhb

Akire · 11/09/2021 09:54

Thanks everyone after Whole of August and tomorrow weeks of September it was long enough. Have popped out this morning and chair seems ok, felt anxious and sick but managed ok.

Sadly things didn’t go to well with getting Tv as sky man came and we don’t have a communial dish. No one had said we needed check this in the 7 weeks this has been on going. So goodness knows, suspect housing association decided not go to expense and unless lots of us want sign up they will say no. Even when sky man said they are pretty standard these days and he thought legal requirements. Given we can’t just pop one on our house same way someone living in house can. Should be allowed same
Options. But one less major job so progress.

Had headache last few weeks, could be weather or hormones or because all drugs. Not sure what’s going on. Not awful but because many horrific migraines even small niggle makes mind go in over drive panic. Hope everyone day started ok

I have a little win to share 🥰

I have had to wear old lady Velcro shoes since January as the motor neuropathy caused extreme foot drop and ankle weakness along with the pain. It meant I couldn't wear any of my nice boots or trainers as I couldn't manoeuvre my feet into them. I think I threw them at a wall in tears at one point 😂

So yesterday I tried to get my lovely sketchers on as I have been seeing an improvement in ankle movement! And I bloody well got them on!!!

No more old lady shoes! And no more teens laughing at me and refusing to be seen with me in public in my "granny shoes"!

Akire · 12/09/2021 11:05

That’s great although a live a Velcro sketchers lol great to wear what makes you feel good.

@cricketmum84 amazing

cricketmum84 · 12/09/2021 11:21

Yep! I really hated the Velcro shoes!!

SpindleWhorl · 12/09/2021 14:18

Oh god I only have three pairs of shoes: sliders, velcro "men's" sandals, and "comfortable" trainers.

I'm very untrendy.

I used to live in ballet pumps but I've lost so much feeling in my feet (even though they hurt which is weird) they just fall off as soon as I take a step. I can't wear sandals or sliders in summer as I can't do that natural toe grip thing you need to do as I can't move my toes.

Can't wait to try boots out when it gets a bit colder!!

How’s think now?

I’ve had one those day where few like going pass out with fatigue and can hardly breath. But can’t sleep. Feels very long slog just get to bedtime. Even laying in bed all day feels like climbing a mountain. Sometimes fatigue hurts so much almost like a constant pain

SpindleWhorl · 12/09/2021 19:10

I'm so sorry, @OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack. I wish there was something, anything, that we all could do for you.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 12/09/2021 19:21

ive resorted to weed to be very truthful. I dont normally partake but at this point id eat horse shit if soemone said it would help with the pain

Akire · 12/09/2021 19:34

Is it A & E level yet? I know we all avoid like plague but I’ve had times with migraines when if I could raised my head enough I would thrown myself out my tower block just to end it all. Ambulance crew usually have decent pain relief that works straight away enough try make a plan about what you want to do next.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 12/09/2021 19:56

ive spoken to out of hours, the problem is my meds im missing are controlled drugs so they cant pescribe them at A&E. i could go in for immediate relief but id be int he same position tomorrow and theres people who need a&e more than me right now. like i said, ive got soem weed which has takent he edge off so i can think at least. itll have to do even though it was sheer desperation that led me to it

cricketmum84 · 12/09/2021 20:11

So sorry you are struggling @OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack don't blame you for the weed at all! My high strength CBD oil helps so much.

Really hope you manage to get it sorted tomorrow x
