Me , Getting the bumper edition of the radio times and settling down to see what tat is on over christmas with my feet up and a mince pie with warm cream on ...bliss.

christmas eve at my mum and dad's. My mum always does a giant stew with polenta (Italian tradition) and then we get to open one present, then we all go off to Midnight Mass. I'm trying to decide if ds is too young for midnight mass (14 months). I think he probably is as it doesn't usually finish until after 1am. We did last year as he was only 3.5 months, I took him in a sling and he slept the whole time. Next year maybe...

watching dd's face whenever she sees anything crimbo-related

reunion night with my big gang of friends, most who live far away. lots of nibbles, drinks, secret santa and dancing the night away in a cheesy nightclub.

christmas morning champagne with all my aunts, uncles, cousins etc.

cuddling on the sofa watching crap telly and tickling dd in our pjs.

walking around town watching everyone rushing around, lights everywhere.

i've never seen it's a wonderful life. i'll have to watch it this year.

bailey's in my coffee in the morning... only enough to say tht its in there... i'm not boozing as soon as i get up. good grief. this year i won't be imbibing as i am due for my first DD during the holidays... this year could be the most interesting and exciting Christmas ever. {grin}

the christmas lights! oh and getting up at six am christmas morning, having a quiet cup of coffee whilst the kids are still asleep and then waking them up after my coffee (usually with a blast on ds2's stadium horn)

Mildly baiting the inlaws during the first course and then smiling benignly and being terribly nice while they get progressively more drunk and paranoid.

Then taking photos of them drunk and dribbling and putting them up on Facebook before they wake up
