Christmas gift ideas & bargains for a 16 year old girl who likes popular branded essentials

[Japlan]

I managed to get all of the gifts for my daughter from a thread like this last year so hoping for ideas again. She never knows what she wants but always loves the expensive popular stuff eg. Longchamp bag, Owala Water bottle, Hollister Clothes etc. but what are those essentials this year ? with a December birthday too it's quite tricky

@Cherryrainbow and @Awcw1234 please could you send me links to the p.louise sets you are referring to? Looking for Xmas gift for 12 year old niece! Thanks

It is on their TikTok channel/live x

Thanks @Awcw1234

I was part of the thread last year and it was really helpful - especially with December birthdays here too! We have on the list across 3 girls here:
Toms Trunks
Coach Bag
Scuffers hoodie
Straighteners / hair products including Amika / Ouai
Charlotte Tilbury
Phlur body mist
Rhode skincare
Victoria's Secret robe
Marvel bits (lego, funko pops)
Pandora charms
Hollister pyjamas
Mini digital camera

Thanks all - Some great ideas. I've been given a list in priority order that includes virtually everything in Holister, a new Longchamp bag, and a tablet plus not yet mentioned by anyone in the thread so may be useful for others A fahlo animal tracking bracelet, a singers merch necklace and i've also found Olivia Rodrigo Lego which i thought might be a nice surprise item and an activity rather than just clothes and make up.

For those buying Coach bags - which bag are you going for and are there any discounts?

Dyson Air Wrap is also on my teen's wish list

DD asked for the Terri last year. I bought direct and was holding out for a discount or pre christmas sale but nothing!

I went to Bicester at the weekend, I asked staff in there which bag for teenagers, they said the Teri. They are £259 at Bicester outlet, so no cheaper than website.
of note the do a small version which is £219 but it is very small, literally would fit a phone and lipgloss in nothing more, it’s the medium size they’re after!

Thanks @Goldpanther I've just bought with free engraving

Some of the smaller stuff suggestions are really useful. But I can't get my head round kids being bought £250 handbags 🤯 Mine gets £100 budget plus stocking! 😂

If anyone is after the ASOS beauty advent calendar, it's currently £78 on the app with the code HEYAPP which gives 20% off the original price. I think it's definitely worth it for that price. Last year my daughter loved the ASOS calendar.

I know, it’s bonkers! I didn’t buy it, I know she’ll be just as thrilled with Hollister vouchers which is still pricey but she’ll get a lot more for that kind of money !

Thanks for reminding me of Scuffers @Theresalotgoingon I knew there was something I was forgetting.

DD still a big fan of Brandy Melville too.

More summery but Ed Hardy jorts also popular.

And if any are slightly more Emo/alternative my 14 year old loves Minga London (terrible name!).

I'm pleased I have a boy!

There was a Rhode phone case with lipgloss handed in to the Year 6 phone box last week. My mind is boggled.

This thread has just cost me a fortune!

Although I do draw the line at spending over £100 on yoga leggings!

I bought my 16 year old the m&s calendar, is that too unstylish? I could change it for the asos one but I thought the contents were great. Their stuff is too expensive to get wrong!
Longchamps bags still in fashion here, alo gear, her and friends are loving Co-ord tracksuits. My 13 year old wants one from kiaai.

I think the M&S calendar is great this year and I'm really tempted to still get it. I think it's really good for teens. But what do I know 🥶

For those looking for coach bags check out secret sales - they have 10% off with student beans / blue light. Mine came today in all coach packaging no different to buying from coach website - very impressed!

Shameless place marking for later

🎄 john lewis have the CT filmstar bronze and glow compact in 'light' for £25, which is by far the cheapest I can find and will hopefully make my teen happy

£50 for an 11 year old's phone case! The mind boggles here too.

It matches her acrylic nails. I kid you not.

Ooooo place marking for later! Thanks!

Can anyone recommend place to get underwear from that this age group like. My daughter is in need of new knickers. I need to take her for a new bra fitting too at some point. I’m not convinced the last place got it right.
