DS always gets some pants at Xmas - he prefers the longer leg ones as he's chunky rugby player and as sales are on I'm looking for some.

I used to get him Oddballs but he says the recent ones are dreadful quality and only last a few months and not worth the money - whereas before they lasted years!

Are step one any good?

Any recommendation for bargain boxers for a chunky of thigh male?

British boxers are lovely. Nice length and don’t ride up according to my husband.
They have a good sale on at the moment too.

@toooldforbrat my huge teenage son's like the Lazy Panda bamboo ones from SockShop and Yeswell brand bamboo boxers from Amazon, might be worth a look if he's not bothered about brands

Tesco had some offers on Yankee candle. A gift pack with large, medium and small jar plus 12 tea lights £20 down from £40- clubcard offer. And some single jars in the clearance too

My son didn’t like step one, said he still chaffed with them. He’s now in m&s ones.

Another Home Bargains one, a cheap stocking filler for teen/young girls. PawPaw Squishmallow edition lip balm. £1.79. A group of young girls looked very interested in them in my local store earlier.

Home bargains also has two Dior lip butters for £19.99 each in the online exclusive sections. Black cherry and lychee colours

Re: McArthur Glen - Denby pop up - this is probably on until BH Monday, (I went back today and bought some plates!)

The large Toblerones in the Cadbury’s shop are £14 for two or £7.99 each - choice of flavours.

Fatface boxers for my ex-rower DH.

Misshollys · Yesterday 18:50

Dh got Hanes boxer briefs, he's a big man, and walking to try lose weight and these are good sizing and long length so avoids all chaffing.

Thanks I am going to be on the lookout for this! Sadly not in my store tonight but they did have the sol de Janeiro sprays and creams (I wasn't sure if this was an online only thing). The staff said girls were going crazy for it so not sure it will stay on the shelves for long!

Boots has some introductory offers on their new advent calanders! The Macmillan one is back for £44 and my mum LOVED this last year (mid 50's) full of liz earl, No.7!

toooldforbrat · Yesterday 19:25

Ewock · Yesterday 21:02

Probably the Cosmo box but I’m afraid it’s out of stock now. It does say more coming though.

DH strongly recommends step one and won’t wear anything else for long walks or hot weather as he says they avoid chafing😬

Chocolateteabag · Yesterday 23:41

My DH really likes the longer length bamboo ones from Oddballs - I know the original poster said her son didn’t like Oddballs - but had he tried the bamboo ones? They have a separate gusset section
DH is yet to get a hole in a pair (and he can usually manage it in a month!)

Notlongnow1 · Yesterday 23:51

@toooldforbrat my dh wears kula and rates them. Wash better than step one imho.
