Wrapping the front door like a Christmas present

Does anyone do this?

I've seen several white doors with red "ribbon" that look like a St George flag. Also seen some that look like Jesus's cross 🙈

I don't like them personally in the same way as I don't like covered chairs at weddings.

Definitely a bit Real Housewives for me... I am a bit of a traditionalist and only really like a wreath on my door. I do like looking at some of the lights though, when people do a good job of it. The blow up snowmen etc freak me out a bit

I promise you I’m very lazy when it comes to something which I see as pointless 😀. I’m very happy for anyone else to do whatever they want. But I Really can’t be arsed with Xmas decorations. I did when dc were kids, not now.

Sorry, I think it looks really tacky! Plus you can't put a nice wreath on a Present Door (or you could but it would look very confusing). How does the plasticky paper stay put for days, why doesn't it rip? Does everyone just sneak round the back and leave the front door for show?
