Anyone still waiting for kids to fall asleep?!

DS7 away with the world but DS10, who still seems to believe, still awake and can’t get to sleep with all the excitement. I am desperate to do Santa and get to bed !!!!

Im awake due to HRT not kicking in yet lol. So lovely to hear all the older kids still believing ❤️

Mine wrapped each other's presents as a tradition. Ages 13 and 16. They my own little elves.

Aw you will miss it when they are older and go to sleep and you don’t have to creep around so much!

I still do stockings for all of us (including my 81yr old dad) but I miss the days of them being up at 6am screeching ‘has Santa been?’ It’s now 3am, stockings filled, presents under the tree but i know I won’t see them till gone 9. Bloody hell the years go by so fast and whilst I know it was tough at the time I would love, love , love one of my dc to still believe. I loved those knackering days (but didn’t appreciate them at the time!)

I finally got into bed about 1.30 - they must have heard us as we had 2 big bikes to get in as well 😫 one woke me up “going to the toilet” at 5.30 then 6.40 so think i’m now up for the day as can still hear moving 😫 husnand downstairs asleep as he snores very badly so he’ll be getting woken up in half an hr just incase. Mine get up but have never gone downstairs to “check” (i used to be a nightmare and think my parenrs got up about 5am to do ours!) no hosting thankfully so day in pjs for us but i’m sooooooo tired! Been late nights past few wrapping & i was up early 23rd for food shop!

I think mine woke about 4.30 I was also half awake, they were very quiet rustling through their stockings and stayed in bed until 6.30 - as requested. One trip to the toilet about 5.45.
