Is there a Christmas food shopping delivery thread yet?

I got mine this morning with just some subs on the alcohol free Prosecco.

Waitrose came this morning … red cabbage instead of white cabbage , gravy granules subbed for a different type , but I’ll take that on a £200 order 😁

I had an Asda delivery yesterday teatime, a few subs but close to what we would normally order and will go down well. We are going to my parents as usual for Christmas dinner and I have a drawer in the freezer with meat joints and trimmings that I built up from November in case anything changed, so I didn't put any dinner ingredients and focused on extras for when I have both kids at home.

Im so glad I froze my pack i got last week.This is the result ☺️

Amazing Tesco Woosh delivered ice, more crisps, pate (my salmon parte is a bit underwhelming) and orange juice. In half an hour 😳

900grams of sprouts were substituted by a measley 200gr bag. And apple crumble for sticky toffee pudding. And the bog standard £7 red wine was unavailable and apparently there wasn’t an appropriate substitute in all of the huge Tesco Extra. Damn @StrangewaysHereWeComeI forgot the dates 🤦🏻!

Sainsbury’s arrived mid-baby change this morning! Baby had had a massive poo, as in, got her to the change table and had to wait to change as she exploded! Just got her cleaned up, fresh nappy, hands washed and the bell went!

The delivery driver was lovely and doted on my naked-but-for-a-nappy baby while I got the order out of the crates! 😂

I had only booked the slot last night and it was not Christmas things, but bits to get us through the next few days. I wasn’t expecting to get a slot but decided to check and lucked out! The only substitution was a different flavour of marinated tofu.

Ocado seems to be the star this year with everything fully present and accounted for here as well. But I doubt anything could top the year Tesco subbed, for the duck we were going to roast, a small frozen Hoisin duck ready meal.
