What to eat on 23rd 24th evening

Can’t face cooking now until Thurs….

Tonight is a ready meal fish pie and no idea about tomorrow’s yet. There’s only me and DH and we aren’t massive planners.

The idea of hard boiled eggs in fish pie is disgusting by the way.

Out for dinner tonight. Cottage pie tomorrow.

Always! DS2 thinks it’s the work of the devil though, so whenever I make one, I make a pattern in the mash on the top to show which end is egg-free

It probably depends on if they have relatives staying or not. We have a lot of snacky food between Christmas and the New Year - no posh party but it’s an easy way to eat, alternating with leftovers.

Tonight we are having, Homemade Sausage rolls, prawn cocktail cups, Camembert and crusty bread, Pringles and Quality Street.
Tomorrow we are having a takeaway, probably Chinese.

I’m cooking a gammon joint, fresh beets, sprouts, courgette, jacket spud. If I’ve gut room I’ve treated myself to a crème brûlée. I live alone but still enjoy cooking/eating. Tomorrow I’ll have cold ham, jkt spud (I’ll only eat half tonight) and left over pizza, salad. I’m out Christmas day so not cooking then.

Me and DH are going for a curry no way am I cooking until Xmas day. Tomorrow night we’re getting a kebab (dd’s choice as it’s her bday)

Keeping it light and healthy, with minimal cooking: Greek eggs tonight and tuna steak

Ramen tonight with stir fried chicken and a boiled egg. Tomorrow we've we have friends coming over and the buffet food is all coming out!

Tonight we’re a bit out of sync because we had breakfast out and a late lunch. DH is on work do.
I expect teenage DS will want square meal though.
DD and SIL have invited for lunch tomorrow. She’s excited and is pulling out all the stops so I think it’ll be something very light in the evening, salad maybe.

I could do with making a batch of soup for these situations. Might have a go since I have so much veg in right now.

Well we usually have a large ‘Christmas Gammon’ on the 23rd but my autistic daughter decided today was the day to punch me, slap me and scream at me many times that I’m a cunt for asking her to flush the loo (she’s 18 btw) so I’m not really in the mood to cook it so it will be sandwiches while I cry in bed.

We’ll be sharing a shop-bought pizza tomorrow for lunch. Then having a charcuterie board for dinner in the evening.

Ramen with soy-marinated eggs tonight, pasta with ragu sauce for ok rh freezer tomorrow.

Going out for dinner tonight. Tomorrow will be mini pork pies (has to be Melton Mowbray) with pickled onions, cheese and crackers with salad.

What i would love is a tin of ambrosia rice, eaten cold from the tin. Haven't had it for about 40 years. What we are having is kebabs and jacket potato tonight, pasta with a homemade vegetable sauce tomorrow.

Tonight its mince beef fried rice and tomorrow it’s steak.
