Lightning McQueen Asda "oodie"

My son, who is 14 with autism and still a firm believer, has just declared Santa is bringing him a Lightning McQueen "oodie".
Santa is not, Santa has looked everywhere and can not find this anywhere. It went viral on TikTok, so sold out in all Asda. There was one on Vinted for £65, it had already sold and to be honest it was only £20 something when on sale so wouldn't have wanted to pay that.
Anyone any ideas or happen to have one that they no longer want.

My autistic son was obsessed with Nyan cat one year (the cartoon cat whose body is a pop tart) He begged and begged for a knitted scarf of him. I couldn't find one anywhere and asked on here. A lovely MNetter knitted a beautiful one and sent it to us. Wouldn't even let me pay. He was so thrilled. He's grown up and grown out of it now, but I still have the scarf and every time I open the cupboard to get out scarves or gloves in winter, I see it and remember her. I keep it on the off-chance some other child gets a similar obsession. I want to pass it on to someone who'd appreciate it.

I remember this !!

Do you? Wow. It was years ago. Such a lovely woman. I have always wondered if she is still around. There is some exceptional kindness on MN. It has a very distorted reputation.

Oh crikey @christmaslist78 and @Treeforme, this is tense and exciting! We have had similar circs in our family with ASD and finding-the-right-thing in time.

There are none of the right oodies anywhere near me, but I’ll check a bit further afield just in case.

I am so glad I posted here. I was hitting brick walls everywhere but now have a glimmer of hope !!

I wouldnt have been sure of the character but I remember someone knitting, may have been a different thing though cause people are a lot kinder here than they would have you believe, soft hearts all round !!

OMG that is lovely. Some really kind people out there. If my local Asda had some of the oodies (it's literally 10 minutes away) I'd have been there in a shot. Lovely to think you can help deliver a bit of Christmas joy to a child.

Maybe we should open the thread up (or start a new one) and anyone that is struggling to source a particular item can post and good samaritans can help them try and get them in time for Christmas!

I was on something similar on FB last year. I was able to source a few bits from our Smyths that were on sale to send to someone in England
