Thread 12 - The one where it's All Pants (and socks)

1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 25/11/2025 20:27

Levi's pants and socks, that is. It's also exactly a month until Christmas!

Also, I have to thank @FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease for this quote, as it really tickled me: "Well it's not going to be the one where we found the fucking flamingo.
Honestly I'm starting to despise the stupid, elusive, constipated thing." Sadly, it was too long to make the thread title.

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

To add there are a few people on here who can vouch for me over the years.

I can vouch for you!!
You’ve saved my sons Christmas with a dark chocolate toblerone on more than one occasion!!
They’ve discontinued them now so I hope you receive something you prefer from your original buyer of the dark triangular chocolate!
Happy Christmas 🎄

Puffalicious · 28/11/2025 22:51

Hi all,

Any suggestions for some kind of discount on Solovairs? Not showing on Blue Light or Topcashback. They're £££ so hopeful to get a bit off. They're for DS1 who never asks for much, but when pushed has given me a few styles.

Got a bit off of Blundstones for DS2 - still £135, but better than full price.

Hopefully both pairs will survive student life!

Of course

Notlongnow1 · 28/11/2025 23:06

Heads up that one of the cheeses in the calendar contains whisky, in case you or the person you are buying it for avoids alcohol. Glad I notice skimming the pics.

TheDrsDocMartens · 28/11/2025 23:08

Cheese bought. My mum will love the advent calendar

@Beautifulsunflowers if you still need a dark chocolate Toblerone they had the big ones at London City airport last week, I’ll be there again next week and would be happy to get one for you.

hugsandpugs · 28/11/2025 23:38

Got some great deals on revolution tonight for the Black Friday especially with the extra 20% off! 🥰

Notlongnow1 · 29/11/2025 00:18

Great deals on ASOS with an extra 20% off too. Also on topcashback. I bought myself 2 sweatshirts and 2 pairs of joggers for £40.

Fuckingfuckssake · 29/11/2025 00:29

@Beautifulsunflowers sadly that relative hasn’t been abroad this year hence no Toblerone, I was just thinking about you the other day!!

PinkPanther27 · 29/11/2025 00:45

Someone was asking for a discount on Bloom & Wild. 41% cashback on Quidco today. Just read the terms and conditions for any exclusions. (Yes I am still up shopping 🙈🤣)

They don't really do discounts. It's a family run business, all handmade in the UK (properly, not like DMs!). There is an outlet shop though if you are local to Northampton....?

FlowersFlowersthank you to all for the helpful suggestions re M&S perfume in pink bottle - off to investigate irl tomorrow CakeCakeCake

Would you consider factory seconds @Puffalicious?

Arregaithel · 29/11/2025 04:17

Boody; bamboo clothing/underwear/gifts currently has a decent sale on

My 67 jumpers have apparently been dispatched 🤞🏻

If I hadn't recently heard about 67 on the radio I'd have thought you'd really gone for it with a bargainous deal! 67 jumpers! That's a lot to go round! 😂

I ordered the chuckling cheese advent for an early Christmas present for my mum. Delivered Monday supposedly, so just in time! It let me check out with just that in the basket nothing else, for £12.09 including delivery.

I've just ordered 2 of these, for crafty relatives, they look so pretty and last longer than a standard flower bouquet!

Just ordered one thank you , perfect gift for someone and I had never seen this before.

ApiratesaysYarrr · 29/11/2025 06:58

I can see that John Lewis have some deals on Airpods - for my budget I can get the 2nd gen Airpods Pro, or the 4th generation (not Pro, but have "active noise cancellation") - any recommendations what a young adult (19 yo) would prefer?

cheesychipsontheoche · 29/11/2025 07:04

Flying tiger 30% off is now up and running with BFW30. They do have a claw machine which a few people have asked about

Changingagain · 29/11/2025 07:10

BeckySharpest · 28/11/2025 20:46

Changingagain that's a brilliant idea. I've been looking for tower or stacking gift boxes that would actually fit a chocolate bar and am struggling to get for less than £20 - any ideas? Ali express have some ones but I imagine they wouldn't survive the trip.

Unfortunately the ones I got last year (and am re-using this year are out of stock, it was these https://amzn.eu/d/g6m9how .

Unfortunately similar size ones such as https://amzn.eu/d/2scTXzK or https://amzn.eu/d/7C9d3mG seem to be closer to £30.

Primark emailed me as they have a big online sale , coupled with free click and collect might be useful , I’ve found things online that are not available in my fairly big local store , and also items in colours they don’t stock but are cheaper than the ones in the shop.

bizzey · 29/11/2025 07:13

Very silly Chuckling Cheese question please. !

I presume all products need to be stored in a fridge before gifting ?

How do I fit an Advent Calenders in my fridge ??

How have I never known about this company before !!?

DS will be in cheese heaven !! 🤣🤣

Whoevenarethey · 29/11/2025 07:15

Thanks for all the bargains. Slightly related, but does anyone have a parcel box/how do you keep your deliveries safe this time of year when you work all day? Thanks
