Thread 12 - The one where it's All Pants (and socks)

1000 replies

RainbowZebraWarrior · 25/11/2025 20:27

Levi's pants and socks, that is. It's also exactly a month until Christmas!

Also, I have to thank @FortnumsWeddingBreakfastTeaPlease for this quote, as it really tickled me: "Well it's not going to be the one where we found the fucking flamingo.
Honestly I'm starting to despise the stupid, elusive, constipated thing." Sadly, it was too long to make the thread title.

Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or you think would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

As we move towards actual Black Friday (does that even exist any more?) the threads tend to move very quickly. It can be helpful to post your bargain in bold. This can be done by adding an asterxix either side of a word with no gap in between. So Levi's would be Levi's

A few years ago when I used to do the annual DS calendar for grandparents having paid for the calendar I would have x amount of time to complete it - can't quite recall how long but definitely a few weeks - it was in the T&Cs

Photobox have an offer like that on. I’m not sure it’s quite as good a deal, but it’s defintielt possible to get a voucher and it gets more expensive nearer Xmas.

HayuBingeWatcher · 28/11/2025 13:29

Does anyone have a friend referral for Holland & Barrett please?

Lands End has 50% off all full price items for black Friday. My mum is a fan so hoping I can find something for her!
Lands End

Thanks for this. I have just ordered a lovely tote bag to use to carry equipment I will require post surgery.

Thank you for this I’ve been on the fence getting this for DW as she is just not into the beauty advent calendars (like me with my one stashed since Sept) but I wanted to get her something more special than chocolate and she loved the white stuff one that year they had a massive glitch 🤣

Mine arrived today and I'm really impressed. Would buy again. I've opened each box, set aside half the socks to bulk out presents and kept the other half. My DH will use the empty box for my DIY beauty advent calendar.
If they go in the Jan sales I'll buy at least one more for next year.

Crazydogmumma · 28/11/2025 13:41

@Squ1ggle - thank you x

hby9628 · 28/11/2025 13:43

@BeaLolatheres a pink pepper one too. M&S have 25% off today.

watchuswreckthemic · 28/11/2025 13:44

20% off all site items at terrace. It’s merchandise of football teams so might be good for any tricky to buy for people. I’ve got my brother a hoodie of his non famous favourite team.

A cinema voucher for the man who likes movies?

I think he already has a cinema membership (he goes a lot).

I've PM'd you a referral link for Holland and Barrett. I was going to share on the referrals board (sorry for referral talk here!) but it contains my name.

nothingcomestonothing · 28/11/2025 13:54

TK maxx have got free click and collect until Monday, if useful for anyone.

Chocolatecakewithsprinkles · 28/11/2025 14:02

@BeaLola could be sweet frangipani?

Lurleene · 28/11/2025 14:04

Just picked up Daisy Dot from B&M for a bargain £20. There were lots of fragrance offers by the tills.

Lurleene · 28/11/2025 14:05

See here

IlovePond · 28/11/2025 14:07

@BeaLola Sweet Frangipani is supposed to be a dupe of Gucci Rush.

Pink Pepper is apparently a dupe for Lancôme La Vie est Belle.

My money is it being one of these two and, if I absolutely HAD to guess and couldn’t ask, I’d choose the Sweet Frangipani as it’s the sweeter of the two.

However, there may be other M&S pink perfumes I am unaware of.

hugsandpugs · 28/11/2025 14:23

Anyone know if the 10% Levi’s discount is only off certain things? I ordered a top yesterday but realised now it didn’t take the 10% off

Famousthehero · 28/11/2025 14:25

A truly dark day in the Black Friday annals here.

first the £130 Lego set I was holding out for was reduced at George but went out of stock while I waited in a queue to check price on the Lego website (not reduced there)

then I spent ages curating a primo order on Amazon haul, and minutes later got an email from Amazon saying it was cancelled (apart from the one more expensive item shipping locally) - all the items with no explanation!

Humbug!

niknakw12 · 28/11/2025 14:38

@Ness1234 I've got a 14 year old and he likes pens and notebooks also lynx spray goes down well, Asda had some on offer. Haribo sweets are also a favourite. I know he's asked for clothing but that's pretty much all my teen wants too.

WimbyAce · 28/11/2025 14:42

I just contacted Amazon as fed up waiting for movement on my Barbie dreamhouse and they despatched it just like that! Wasn't gonna contact them as thought they couldn't do anything but was worthwhile.

GiddyDog · 28/11/2025 14:49

@CeeceeBloomingdale hadn't thought of it being Thanksgiving, possibly related. It's very annoying that they're absolutely spamming me with advertising while not sending the order I've already placed though!

On a better note, just ordered DD a necklace from hot diamonds, was already in outlet then 50% off code and birthday/free delivery codes took it down to £4.95 posted and it was dispatched literally within 2 hours of placing the order! Always had fantastic service ordering from there.

woodwaj · 28/11/2025 14:51

I cant find who it was but thanks to whoever said there's 10 off 25 on uber. I could use it on boots and managed to get a 30ml gucci flora for £27.00

For those interested in fahlo, lots new on vinted for around £6.

A secret Santa and it’s a charity request for a 15 year old male who just wants warm clothing.

Could anyone give advice on what else a 15 year might like, extra to the clothing without knowing anything about him. Thanks

I got a pack of Hot Hands hand warmers on Amazon for £3. They last up to 10 hours. I’d probably go for warm heat holding socks, Primark and TU (20% off) have thermal tops and leggings/long johns which could be worn under any clothing.
Hat, scarf and gloves. Depending on budget a cosy jumper.
So sad that that is what a teenager wants for their Christmas in 2025. Not asking for treats but essentials.

Lewiscapaldiscat · 28/11/2025 15:04

I had a pink one from M&S which was a coco mademoiselle dupe - I’d ask!

Cos1970 · 28/11/2025 11:56

I have several of their socks and the thick wool ones keep my feet very warm. I can’t stand having cold feet

Nordic socks are the only socks that keep my feet warm!

Glad to hear this! Also haven’t seen it reduced as much today so glad we got it when we did
