Hello folks and welcome to the ongoing Christmas Bargain threads, which are hosted annually by the Amazing Reastie. I'm just caretaking for now.

This post is a work in progress, and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add, then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas, and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links, please.

Please post any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

Can anyone recommend a good women's battery shaver (for pits and legs)? I had one as a teen that was great, but when I got a replacement a few years ago it seemed to catch my skin. Don't want to risk getting a rubbish one for a gift...

I love my epilady - been using it for years. Upgraded last year when it stopped holding a decent length charge to (I think) a 9 series (the head bends slightly to accommodate going around curves) and I’ve bought both DDs a 6 series each. No nicks or catching, even with super sensitive skin. Just make sure you buy one that can charge and then be used without being attached to power if you want to use it in the shower etc - I think there are both options (wireless is a bit more expensive).

@Fillybuster you have to find something full price and something that costs £20 or more. Choose a category and scroll to the bottom for the non discounted items I think someone said.

It’s adding a 25% discount to everything as far as I can tell? Damnit. I wanted the sleep kit!

PurpleSkittle · 22/11/2025 23:24

@Fillybuster Thanks. Just tried to look it up -do you mean the Braun Silk-Epil? That's all that seems to come up when I search Epilady...

Fillybuster · 22/11/2025 23:41

@PurpleSkittle yes, that’s the one! Sorry, I should have popped upstairs to double check before I posted.

On which note….thank you @FurForksSake! It looks like a handful of brands aren’t included in the 25% discount, so once I’d worked that out, I placed an order for a new L’occitane hand cream which will cost the princely sum of 3.99 for P&P. Can’t work out why there wasn’t an option to collect for from my local Anthro store, but really not complaining!

I've just bought an OralB IO3 with 2 brush heads from Amazon as a gift for £49.99, which is the cheapest I've seen it. I've already got an IO3 myself and rate it, although the brush heads are annoyingly expensive.

Packs are often available on Boots £10 Tuesday.

Now I’ve written that, they probably won’t for a few weeks. My dentist says she has the IO herself. She noticed the improvement in my teeth when I changed from a Philips Sonicare.

Mine doesn’t run out until January so I’m going to keep my powder dry.

My jellycat bunny tree decoration arrived today from Anthropology. Too cute.

DW also signed up and ordered the jellycat star today which has been dispatched too.

Amazing deal! Thank you to the poster who spotted it.

What is this deal please?

The £20 voucher you are given when you sign up to Anthropologie Perks (Anthroperks). Not everyone has received the voucher though. If you do receive one, it generally comes through to your email a few days after registering.

SENsupportplease · 23/11/2025 04:57

Thank you both

Additional 15% off at Mountain Warehouse. I believe the code is AFFVC15CW

MandScookiesrule · 23/11/2025 07:24

@PurpleSkittle https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FJFS513J? is what I have and it’s really good, reviews are excellent and currently a lot cheaper than I bought for Black Friday.

ApiratesaysYarrr · 23/11/2025 07:31

Not terribly bargain-y, but I have finally caved and bought some controllable Xmas tree lights that I have been wanting for years

Twinkly red/green/blue/white lights £50 less on Amazon than they are on the manufacturers own website.

Not hugely bargainous but I was tidying away after a family dinner last night and I have these brilliant little place name stags which I bought from a recommendation on these threads a few years ago. Currently 20% off with code BLACKFRIDAY2025 bringing them down to £1.60 each - I love them to bits and they are just so lovely!

Does anyone know how I can get this ice cream maker cheaper. £229 on amazon down from £299. It's the kind where you don't have to pre freeze the bowl and has good reviews. For my daughter.

Looks as though Amazon are price matching Lakeland & cuisinart own website. Maybe you could get a voucher code somewhere for Lakeland? I believe these do exist!

lifelongfrugaleer · 23/11/2025 08:06

@Ughyi love the bean deal. Without these threads saving so much Monet we would need more to eat after Christmas overspends 😂

BeautifulTulips · 23/11/2025 08:10

I signed up for anthropology but got 10% off my first order so I wonder if they have changed the welcome offer?
