Sorry I just saw this. How kind of you though, thanks for the offer. Wasn't a specific year as hadn't thought of it but I suppose if I was having a proper search I'd be looking for a year she would have read it. Was it for teenagers or younger? She was born in 1961.

Teen DD likes it already as reasonably priced for school bag etc. Mind you her other favourites are Miss Dior, Daisy (the orange one) and Sol de janerio sprays so I’m glad of the bargain!

I absolutely love my Paperwhite but it is going to need upgrading very soon! I had a look on your link but it doesn’t mention being a paperwhite, do you know if that’s still a different thing?! I would so love a bargain!

It really dose depend on type of hair, skill and how much effort is willing to be put in.

I honestly think it’s a process of elimination, start cheap and work your way up, also look at products, for some it’s a matter of using the right product along with styling tool.

unfortunately this is not a one size fits all. I’d personally watch as many influencers as possible, ones who don’t just advertise but try and ones who have similar hair to your dd.

Can someone please explain to me how the cash back works. I see it all the time but for some reason I feel like it’s a trick to sign me upto something so never click it. I would love a very simple explanation of how it works please.

Thank you to the poster that alerted us to the Jimmy Choo deal. I'm a member of Superdrug but could only get 30% off some perfumes. Then a PP reposted the origonal message I must have missed where it says it's a deal on HotUKDeals. I've just signed up there and got the £13.75 perfume! So many thanks to you both and hopefully a tip for others if they were struggling like me.

@ITSSSSCHRISTMASSS TopCashBack, Quidco etc are sites you have to join as a member. Then, when you want to shop online with most major chains, you can click on the cashback website first, search the company you want to shop with and click through to that company's website via the link on the cashback site. Provided you meet the terms of the cashback offer, you will earn that amount of cashback on your purchase.

You don't receive the money immediately though - you have to wait for it to be processed and checked, which can take up to 6 or so months! (although can be a lot less). Once it's gone through, it appears as credit in your account which you can move to your bank or you can buy gift cards with it which gives you further cashback.

Someone else will hopefully be able to tell you about the banking/Paypal ones. If you do decide to sign up to TCB or Quidco, use one of the referral links on the referrals board as that will give both you and that referrer some money in your cashback account.

Just to add to the kindle chat as im also looking for a new one - it's prime day on Tuesday and Wednesday so if you're a prime member it may be worth waiting as they usually do kindle deals.

Good tip about the trade in though. Will definitely be doing that.

I’ve managed to do a click and collect from Ross on Wye fortunately I’m 20 miles down the road in the Forest of Dean on a weekend break! I brought 2 from Boots star gift section which will now be returned. You’ve saved me £50 thanks very much!

That's what I'm doing - waiting until Prime Day or Black Friday.
