This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of mn filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/christmas/5212180-bargain-referrals-thread-7 and share around the joy/referral perks.

This is brilliant but I can't find anywhere to add the code at check out before getting to the pay noe button which I dare not press in case it goes through at full price. Has anyone bought from here with the code successfully?

I ordered yesterday using the code. Was even successfully tempted to get the lucky dip box as well. Candles for me if nobody else!

CatRash · 04/10/2025 10:27

Apologies if I upset anyone with the Temu post, just thought some of the tips I mentioned might be useful for someone. I promise not to mention Temu again on this thread and happy to delete it if need be.

Also it's not all Chinese crap on there ...the last couple of weeks I've bought things from Search Press, Books2Doors, Save on Books etc. You don't have to buy the Chinese crap.

Amazon, Amazon Haul, TikTok Shop, AliExpress, eBay, Shein, AliExpress....they're all the same.

I found it by clicking on ‘my priority’ at the bottom and it came up under ‘your exclusive perks’.

Ah no, I don't have it then. Worth looking though, just in case!

Some stuffs gone live already but it starts properly at 10 today.
a group of small businesses have got together and created this weekends festival. it’s basically a seconds and sample sale (with reductions across their entire ranges) for small businesses. It’s a great way of finding interesting stuff with a few bargains chucked in.

I've bought myself a gorgeous cynograph print for £15 and shared the website with several friends. Thanks to whoever originally posted about it

Can you remember which screen you were able to enter the code on or was it applied automatically? I either being really stupid (entirely possible) or there's nowhere to enter the code

There's been lots of posts about Amazon Haul this past month, I shouldn't worry about it.
Temu has it's place imo - it's great for kids birthday party bits

Agreed. I’ve bought lots of wooden blanks off there for crafts and they’re good for little Christmas bits for my class.

@Niye re: Makedo - there are a couple reduced at Bigjigs due to damaged boxes

haven’t checked but the bigjigs sale is usually worth a look too if there’s one on

Thank you for the tip 😊 I've had a look and unfortunately they don't have the set I'd like in stock but I've noted it for future purchases.

Just done this - added 3 candles to basket, took the view basket option then pressed checkout. There was a discount code box below the list of items and before pay now ...

IlovePond · 04/10/2025 11:39

@Yalz thank you for the SUPERSECONDS tip off.

I have just ordered myself two mismatching sea glass mini pendants/droppers to hang on my earrings.

For those struggling with the site - it’s super-glitchy but refreshing the pages worked for me.

I have far too much jewellery already, but there’s some lovely stuff on the site and I am tempted by a few other things too.

I am not buying any ceramics this time as I disliked the mug I ordered last year- there was nothing wrong with it, but it’s so hard to judge texture online!

Fireside10 · 04/10/2025 11:48

Playmobile have 20% off atm, my 4 year wants pretty much their entire catelogue from Santa. Does anyone know if that's a good deal or if I should hold off?

SmashingGemini · 04/10/2025 11:53

I also ordered Pintail candles yesterday, no problem using the code. Thanks to whoever posted it, they look lovely. Excited for the Autumnal scents of apples, woodland etc that I chose.

ZeroDucksLeft · 04/10/2025 11:53

@Serenitesanta I haven’t quite caught up with the thread so apologies if someone else has already mentioned but fangamer.eu is excellent for merch for the slightly more obscure games. Not bargainous at all but definitely made my kids happy to get plushes and various figures for their favourites.

Hollow Knight: Silksong - Fangamer Europe

Fangamer Europe is a curated selection of Fangamer merchandise shipping direct from the Netherlands to customers in Europe and the UK. Fangamer creates merchandise inspired by the best video games of all time – shirts, plushes, figures, books, prints,...

Fireside10 · 04/10/2025 11:56

*should of added the playmobile are selected items with the code: HALLOWEEN20

PastaAllaNorma · 04/10/2025 12:04

Serenitesanta · 04/10/2025 00:45

ok 🫣 I googled silksong merch and there is a world of stuff - who knew!!!
Anyone play and know what would be loved most?

Silksong was so eagerly awaited it crashed Steam and the PlayStation store the minute it launched! Most hotly anticipated game of the year - my sons had both outlets on constant refresh waiting to buy it.

There's a shed load of merch you can get into. None is necessary or relevant to playing the game, it's just about what sort of thing your child will like. T shirts were always my lads' preference.

When I try to view a product on the super seconds sale, it asks me for a password which I don’t have. How is everyone else getting on to it? Do I need to register somewhere? Thanks

The Superseconds sale was due to start at 10am today: you posted at 9:45am. Some of the sellers were starting early just for their subscribers - you had to email them in advance if you wanted to be one of those, and they sent either a special link or a password.

It should be easy for everyone to join now as it’s past 10am.

I haven’t had any issues at all, but I was working from a set of links I’d set up in advance, rather than the main website.

Arewesureitisntbedtime · 04/10/2025 12:09

If anyone is after some new baubles some of the individual ones in the range are down to 35p each.

I wonder if they were the ones I dithered over for quite a while. You’ve given me a good reason to think I made the right decision, as it meant another MNetter could buy them.

Edit: I did not need them. I have bought other things.

IlovePond · 04/10/2025 12:16

Small world @Yalz ! Was one green, one yellow? £8 each?

What did you get?

Whattheduck · 04/10/2025 12:31

Just purchased 4 scarves from the superseconds sale that were end of season for £1 each plus a lovely necklace for £1.50 and got free delivery

Was this from Xander Kostroma? I just ordered a tote bag and a scarf from there for a friend too! Only came to £5 and free delivery. The scarf is current collection and retails at £25 but got it for £1!

this super seconds sale is dangerous I’ve got so many tabs open 🤣

fishfingersandchipsagain · 04/10/2025 12:43

I’m so impressed with Tiptree, who were recommended on the last thread for their gin liqueurs which were on a 3 for £30 offer at the time.

I ordered quite a few things, all of which were absolutely lovely, but the gift packaging was damaged.

Their customer service (an actual human!) was absolutely excellent. They sent me replacement packaging and also a lovely and very generous gift as an apology for the issue.

I would 100% use them again, with or without discount, although it does look like the discounts come up often. They also do really lovely selection of jams, marmalade etc with personalised labels.

Yes, it was!

I don’t like to go into details … but earrings, notebooks and a couple of very pretty china pint mugs.
